William Whitehead (@Clerkenwill) reported from Oxfordshire, EnglandAre Wi-fi companies (The Cloud, BT, Sky etc) in cahoots with network providers (@ee @VodafoneUK etc)? I keep finding I’m in the middle of a data-hungry operation and I’ve been logged off or lost Wi-fi connection. Several months in a row I’ve run out of data as a result.

-
Dr. Mark Shanahan (@LeapfrogMark) reported from Abingdon, EnglandWhich marketing *** decided that if we're going round to mum and dad for #Christmas we're #guesting? It's a horrible term and it's getting my goat that it's creeping into so many adverts. Until @EE stuck it in their advert I don't think anyone had ever consciously 'guested'.
-
Jack (@JackCooper92) reported from Aston, England@hayleyjane7 @EE So, they gave you a faulty phone, you complained and got a new one, no mention of you returning the faulty one which you recycled and they’re now billing you for? You are entitled to a transcript of the call when you made your complaint, but not the recording of it
-
Trevor Chaplin (@FMTDC) reported from Milton, England@EE @professorgreen @rickedwards1 It wouldn’t be any good trying to make that important call from @EE network.

Bex Allen (@travellingbex) reported from Oxfordshire, EnglandHey @EE my phone signal has been on barely 1 bar for the past couple of days. Is there an issue in the Oxford area?
-
Jack (@JackCooper92) reported from Aston, England@hayleyjane7 @EE If the complaint is in deadlock they cannot discuss it. This probably means the call isn’t on their records. If I were you I’d contact the ombudsmen and explain what happened. Speak to citizens advise too
-
Jake Bevan (@Mepheisto) reported from Oxfordshire, England@EE Lost my patience with this now. I’m stuck on a contract, I get no data in areas that you claim have great signal (covering pretty much all of east Oxford btw). What proof do you accept that you’re not upholding the contract so I can get a pac code?

Your customer service response was il raise it. Then to my response of I hope I get it tomorrow was sure. @EE
-
Opeyemi Daniel (@DinaGlyphs) reported@EE That worked. However the contact person had not update on the problem or the expected timeline expected to have that fixed. Apparently, @WeAreOpenreach is yet to fix whatever problem there is in my neighbourhood and EE doesn’t seem to have any alternative solution for those affected. We’re stuck in a limbo.
-
Jim C (@Showmethetears) reported@EE Sadly the cottage I'm staying in has we WiFi on sim dongle so it doesn't work. Luckily I can connect in the pub to check messages but I'm not ringing customer service from a pub when surely you can just check your system and drop me a DM

✵°✵。✰ ℙ𝕒𝕞 ✰。✵°✵ (@Pam_ela24) reported@EE how is it not possible to apply my NHS discount because it wasnt done at point of upgrade? Been told my option would be to return the phone and cancel upgrade before upgrading again which is more hassle than you just adding the discount which has been on the account before
-
Jim C (@Showmethetears) reported@EE Zero response to this - luckily I'm not in contract on the two accounts I have with EE, or my broadband so next week I'll be cancelling this service and getting a new provider
