I complained, they traced the recording and gave him an absolute bollocking. But I've never forgiven them to this day. Make sure you follow this up.

The website says we need an engineer and one can come out on Thursday 9th! We both work from home and require our connection for that. Can this be sorted?

I would say ยฃ25ph for inconvenience plus null payments during dispute is reasonable. Every email cost 1 hour. Phone calls by the minute rounding up. hth
