Greg - Israelite in Exile (surviving the Galut) (@anexiledjew) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE There's a really easy solution. I've seen this in other countries, and there's no reason it can't be implemented in the UK. Because these networks don't have the ability or will to properly cover the entire country, there's absolutely no reason we can't have domestic roaming in the same way we have international roaming. They wouldn't have to charge for it (although I'd pay if I had to) because every single mobile network would benefit from it. If you can't get an EE signal, for example, you would roam to Vodafone instead. It could be switched on instantly with no expensive engineering needed, but they choose not to do this.
-
Al Sam (@apsamuelson) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Shall we contact the Disasters Emergency Committee and have them run a fund raiser for you?
-
Ukobach (@JasonOw55271825) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE I’m not saying immigration is the problem However it is relatively easy for a mobile cell to be overwhelmed by users - how many HMO’s have sprung up there - it’s a genuine problem and the networks usually address it with micro or pico cells
-
Profile Critics (@BooksProfile) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Tom, you were in power for 14 years and did nothing about reception on trains. This government is sorting that problem out. Just needed to flush out the Tories.
-
Mike Cloudsdale (@MikeCloudsdale) reported@EE @TomTugendhat Ditto in SW London, usually only get one bar of signal and frequently have issues with calls cutting off or breaking up.
-
Gareth Owen (@gjo2405) reported@EE Spent 53 minutes on a call with the solution being an option of extra £15 per month so still not resolved ! One for CEOemail I suspect
-
Jim Fogarty (@64Jimfogarty) reported@EE Oh I've tried that no help at all unless I pay more money and I already pay enough
-
Steveo Davies🏴 (@STEVEOLUCKY7) reported@jessicazeun @EE Exactly the same for me constantly contacting them about my piss poor service..100mb I was promised never get anywhere close to that , surely its breach of contract
-
Alex Jones (@dr_besty) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE EE had to replace their entire Huawei 5G core at great expense at the behest of your government, it put their network investment back by nearly a decade, I'd maybe sit this one out if I was you
-
KettchUK (@KettchUK) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Don't worry, the private sector will be along any moment with that investment you said they'd be putting into the network decades ago.
