  @jenlion @EE I've had exactly this with insurance, mortgages, all sorts. They rely on customer inertia to retain them. When I move I always make their customer retention team (they'll definitely call you if you're leaving) know I'm moving specifically because of these tactics.

  @GillRaeWalker @LeilaniDowding @EE My elderly parents were forced onto fibre by BT. Now they can't guarantee being able to phone for assistance during a power cut. Had to get new mobiles because 3G was turned off yet I work in parts of the country with no signal at all.

  @EE Not having any issues i just want to know why @ITV where you RECORD a programme to watch later and prevented from skipping Ads. I would be interested to hear from @ITV about this as they seem to be the only commercial station that does this

  @EE really bad experience today. Engineers supposed to turn up to setup broadband, waited 8 hours, no show, no telephone call, called customer service spent 35 minutes on hold to be told they were coming. Just got an automated text: sorry we missed you book another appointment

  @EE shame your online customer service isn't as good as the team in Telford Town Centre branch. Tried to order a bundle of bits for my new phone online, you took my money and promptly informed me it's all out of stock and it wont be refunded to me for up to 14 days. Not great!
