Hey @Ofcom we have been having issues with our mobile number that’s with @giffgaff no calls/texts from EE are coming through! (pretty basic part of service) Reported to @giffgaff beginning of August - still not resolved. (Suspect it’s been going on for much longer) can you help?

@O2 @Joegreaney Hi I'd just like to add that this is a problem for everyone on 02 and giffgaff in that area and it's because a mast in hither green has been down for 2 years and these crooks hate you enough to ignore it.

@giffgaff I have recieved my replacement sim as my old sim was broke and I have activated the new sim but I still can't make or recieve calls and texts could you tell me how long this is going to take please as I am disabled and need my phone in case of an emergency thank you

@giffgaff sort out your ageist “customer care” approach & call & help my 77 year old mum. You don’t even help me to help her you just send us a barrage of data red tape we can’t deal with. This is how elderly people are marginalised by #giffgaff they just won’t make that call.

@SkyHelpTeam I've had internet dropouts for the past 3-4 days, up to 4 times per day, plus dropouts often in the last year. It nearly jeopardized my life changing doctors appointment held over zoom today, often times my giffgaff 4g mobile data is faster, I need a solution.

@PhilSheaS @lungsatwork I got a crappy phone with a £5 a month GiffGaff sim for a job I recently did with non-resident on call...100% worth it - switched off when not at work, never had to give randoms at other hosps my personal No & no dodgy calls OOH or when not at work! Hey @giffgaff I started using your network just over a year ago. Since switching I frequently experience a loss of internet connection which only re establishes after I turn my phone off and on again. Any ideas why this might be? Thanks in advance.

@m1kta_qrp @ItinerantHam EE is BT’s mobile network, and is an actual network provider in that they provide and manage the network infrastructure. GiffGaff is a service provider owned by Telefónica O2, just like Tesco Mobile.

@ItinerantHam Had to do this for 2 months after moving QTH and waiting for BT. We both work from home. Setup phone as a hotspot, used Giffgaff initially, but O2 network was terrible, switched to SMARTY on the 3 network and it worked flawlessly. Best network depends on your area 🤓
