    @bankwithsmile @HSBC_UK @bankwithsmile Also worth noting it took over a week for your team to even agree to send a replacement card after I first let them know it hadn't arrived. They sent me two follow up messages asking, each of which took another 2-3 working days for a response from your end.

    @bankwithsmile It's only been 7 working days, so it's got until tomorrow. There was no point in you sending a replacement now - I've got my @HSBC_UK card and PIN, so I've transferred some money over to that account so I can actually get some cash, ahead of leaving you for good on Monday.

    New low for @HSBC_UK customer service. After again being told to speak with their online chat service to order a new bank card, they confirmed it would be sent out. I chase this up today and they have told me that no card has been ordered and I should called up. #Awful

    @catfromspace @HSBC_UK Thanks, basically she gave the wrong information on the phone. The had froze online and telephone banking not the account. It steams from the issue we had with them earlier this year which was supposed to be sorted out. It’s fixed now (hopefully)

    @HSBC_UK @LBC 2/2 Still on the call with advisor who refuses to help and just goes silent. You’d rather let them be a victim of fraud. You should ask @LloydsBank how to do things properly when it comes to safeguarding vulnerable people from financial abuse.

    So, apparently my 86 year old just about mobile MIL will have to travel 20 miles to a @HSBC_UK just to make an appointment. It is impossible to contact them by phone as she is hard of hearing and they never answer. She cannot do it online! This is discrimination @paullewismoney

    @HSBC_UK the bank who needs to speak to somebody who doesn't speak English to book them an appointment to go into the bank to book an appointment and refuses to speak to an interpreter on their behalf. No help or common sense for refugees here. Guess we'll have to bank elsewhere!

    @HSBC_UK I've now done so. I do want to reiterate publicly how unhelpful the service provided over the phone has been. Having to resort to Twitter to get something sorted is not good even if it does ultimately help.
