They sent me two follow up messages asking, each of which took another 2-3 working days for a response from your end.

    @bankwithsmile It's only been 7 working days, so it's got until tomorrow. There was no point in you sending a replacement now - I've got my @HSBC_UK card and PIN, so I've transferred some money over to that account so I can actually get some cash, ahead of leaving you for good on Monday.

    @HSBC_UK hi your chat bot doesn't help with registering online and says I need to login. The issue is with registering so a bit difficult to get to a person. When registering saying can't as you need contact details. Does this mean a mobile number is needed for online banking?

    New low for @HSBC_UK customer service. After again being told to speak with their online chat service to order a new bank card, they confirmed it would be sent out. I chase this up today and they have told me that no card has been ordered and I should called up. #Awful

Thankfully the issue was identified in his very first transaction, when he paid £1500 for a cheap printed holiday hoodie to a (very surprised) friend...

    @HSBC_UK way below standard service for premier . A card delivery still hasn’t taken place 2 months on as some Sherlock Holmes manager in tooting broadway branch decided to stop it for no reason and customer service are non the wiser . The service is more fitting of dark ages

    @HSBC_UK Pls can someone call us? Received an odd looking email saying you're going to close our account unless we complete an update form. There are grammar errors and the questions are not relevant to a charity like ours. If legit, please DO NOT close the account w/out calling.

    @HSBC_UK I'm not sure there's much you can do other than employ more customer service agents. Luckily, despite a more than 40 minute wait, Andy was super helpful. I feel bad for your people who must get so much flak from frustrated customers - I hope you appreciate and reward them well.
