@LloydsBank what is the point of having a 24 hour helpline service if you just keep cutting off all the time?!

@LloydsBank Contactless wasn't working either. But you've missed the whole point of my comments. Look at the second part on my tweet about Google Pay. That's my complaint, why don't your staff tell customers about apps that take the place of cards. You are not listening to me are you?

@LloydsBank so, over 70yrs banking history between my wife and I with you...need a joint account so went to my local branch. Couldn't help this week and suggested going to another part of London to another branch for the account. Digital age? Thought you were my bank....

@LloydsBank tired and fed up with Lloyds bank , if a customer service advisor can’t resolve my account , then it’s just best to move banks , and also every time you call it takes over 1 hour get through to them.

Dear @LloydsBank For the second time today i am now 40mins into a queue as an existing customer about business banking - the first bit of advice did not resolve my issue: Unacceptable. ‘Unexpected high call volumes’ doesn’t wash any more. 35 years of loyalty is meaningless.

@LloydsBank I am getting an Error when trying open a current account (and I have tried on my PC and my mobile): "It looks like something's gone wrong. Please try again at a later time." Other users on @Reddit say the same thing. What is the problem?

@CommonsTreasury @LloydsBank @Meg_HillierMP be very assured, this was no 'glitch', but a systemic ****-up, waiting to happen. it will not be isolated, or unique.

  • OliverScanlan
    Oliver Scanlan (@OliverScanlan) reported

Two dreadful things about @LloydsBank bank abysmal customer service is a) automated voice tells you you can do things on the app that you actually can't (it's why you're calling them in the first place and b) having been on hold 20 mins, says call will be answered "shortly".

  • MatthewJaggard

@LloydsBank ..you support the many customers that do not want this

  • ArturNadol7566
    Artur Nadolny (@ArturNadol7566) reported

LLOYDS APP SHAMBLES @LloydsBank managed to turn online banking into a raffle where nearly half a million customers got a peek at someone else’s finances. Open the app to check your balance, leave with a stranger’s transactions, account details and national insurance number. Just the sort of premium service that really says trusted high street institution. The bank says an overnight software defect caused the chaos, which is a way of admitting someone fiddled with the wiring and half the country briefly thought their money had gone on a car they never bought. Customers were left panicked, confused and wondering whether they’d been hacked. Lloyds responded with goodwill payments averaging about £38 each, which apparently is now the going rate for accidental identity.. This is the magic of modern banking. Total convenience right up until your app starts freelancing as someone else’s wallet. The regulators are now circling, the bank is very sorry, and the rest of us are once again being asked to trust the same people who cannot update software without turning basic banking into a national farce. @LloydsBank Sutton Coldfield — customers queue while staff sit idle behind ‘cash only’ desks. A clear failure in basic service management. Manager clearly needs to attend a customer service course
