@AskNationwide maybe you can help me, seeing as your in-branch staff just said “go online” and your phone line has had me on hold for 30 minutes. I want to close a savings account and take out the money, but I can see no button to click on for this in online banking.

@AskNationwide @itsazoe Today's my birthday, It's 4 days before Christmas, for most people it's payday or a day or two before, and as a national financial institution, you don't even know when you'll solve the problem Has any explanation been given to customers as to what has caused the problem or why?

@AskNationwide do you have any update on the payments system? Assuming you are rejecting all inbound payments, therefore saving weeks on hand picking the successful and unsuccessful payments? Referring to the #RBS issue back in 2012 customers waited 4 weeks to access their funds

@AskNationwide hopefully this issue is rectified before I get paid on 23rd. However if it isn't I hope it won't be left to me to contact my payroll department to get them to resend my salary? So much for modern technology!
