  • XBerts
Bert (@XBerts) reported from Camberwell, England

@NatWest_Help getting a replacement card appears to be mission impossible with NatWest. Currently having a conversation in the app and the agent replies after one hour! What is your excuse @NatWest? Worst bank ever

  • maggieinlondon
Maggie - wear a mask 💙🏳️‍🌈🌱 (@maggieinlondon) reported from Wandsworth, England

@carolecadwalla I found a NatWest debit card for Natalie West (thought it was a test card) but took it anyway to a NatWest branch and it turned out she was a real customer!

  • XBerts
Bert (@XBerts) reported from Lambeth, England

@NatWest_Help absolutely appalling service today at NatWest telephone banking. Have been waiting for over one hour to get a replacement card. Get transferred to random people and now cut off! WTF !!

  • beady_stace
💙 Stacey Killon (@beady_stace) reported from Worcester Park, England

Not particularly impressed with my local @NatWest_Help branch today in trying to open a trust fund. “It’s all on the app” - what about actually providing actual customer service? 😩 #natwest

  • LdnCinders
Joanne Timms (@LdnCinders) reported from Croydon, England

@sainsburys I just said they reported no issues! I literally just messaged natwest themselves. I'll shop elsewhere as every other website is processing payments via visa fine apart from yours. Who knew it this hard to order soap powder and bleach?

  • ByGeoffW
Geoff Whitehouse (@ByGeoffW) reported from Croydon, England

For all the chat about how incumbents are lagging - NatWest is showing how it should be done. Deep Innovation, working with regulators, delivering new services at a scale others can only dream of. Let’s see if that forces some of the laggards to - finally - act.

@Brightstar have just tried to call you through Natwest to get help to register my phone but instead someone picked up my call and apparently a private call as well, and I was left hanging with no answer tor several minutes until I gave up. Not a great experience

  • JackHead95
Jack Head (@JackHead95) reported from Richmond, England

‘You’re suggesting I take out a loan, to deal with a cash flow issue resulting from NatWest’s incompetence?’ ‘No, I didn’t say that. The lending team can do all sorts of things’ Right… 11/

Nearly 24 hours since I called your automated service for a call back. Clearly need to review our accounts with NatWest.

@BlueCityBrain Was going to do a post on it soon. I very much doubt an initial decision is still pending. For context, NatWest Markets plc v Bilta (UK) Ltd [2021] was ordered a retrial when its decision was still waiting after 19 months at the High Court. Chancellor of the High Court absolutely blasted it. He said decisions like these should need a good reason to take over 3 months in the courts and if they do, they get closely monitored. For it to take this long in private arbitration when there’s a requirement in the rules for a decision as soon as practicable… and the arbitrators have been working on other cases… totally inexcusable if it weren’t already out. Career enders. A hearing on sanctions and final award should be quick too. So no excuses. Only 2 possibilities I see: 1) Final Award is coming imminently. By end of July. 2) They have it but they’re waiting for the end of the World Cup (they shouldn’t be and could open themselves up to damages) 3) City launched an appeal after the decision on liability was issued and before the hearing on Sanctions

@NatWest_Help I did that, and they said I needed to speak to NatWest bank not the investment line. They transferred me through to an automated service that didnt understand what it was I was trying to get through to. So I gave up.

@12beattiestp @PedeJo__ @isabelrosesss this is correct. the bank is natwest (rbs) nobody has access to anything and everything is scrambled outside of production. i dont think theres even a fat unix wizard who has access to read production, from what i remember working there

  • suffolkev
    Kev (@suffolkev) reported

@NatWest_Help my son is in America trying to use his NatWest card but you keep declining payments. Your app says you don’t need to tell you if abroad and your useless chatbot is no help. The “emergency” number is just an endless Voice menu with no option to speak to someone! 🤬

@NatWest_Help And now, 1.5 months later, he STILL can't access her bank account!!! NatWest staff entered his phone number incorrectly. So he can't receive a code to log on. He's asked them several times to change it. They say they'll change it. They haven't mayo do that very hard task 😡😡😡😡

  • mh379

@BasilTheGreat I’ll say this again: if you want to peacefully bring down the institutions profiting from the migrant crisis, hit them where it hurts, organise withdrawals from the banks. Natwest, Barclays, HSBC, Lloys, Santander to name a few Ask supporters to withdraw their money (even small amounts) from the big banks tied to government policy. The system is fragile, they don’t hold enough cash for everyone to withdraw at once. This is show hurt more than violent riots, it's how you apply real pressure wthout people getting jailed. National strike next, road blocks bring the country to its knees Fill the streets up and down the country demanding a GE and secure borders. Our ancestors didn’t fight for this. Enough.

@stephenpollard Think you made a big error here. NatWest got bailed out in the financial crisis so think that is a counter to your argument without the state it wouldnt exist and shareholders would have got nothing. Also industries like rail and water just can’t be made competitive. I can’t get Scot’s rail when I want to get a train in london or use Thames water in Leeds cos I don’t want to use Yorkshire water. I am 100% capitalist and set up multiple companies from scratch and employed a bunch of people but it doesn’t work for everything. Also the best rail companies in the world are state owned and many state owned foreign companies bought up many of the companies thatcher sold off. So that makes no sense anyway
