  • smileyblonde43
Johanna (@smileyblonde43) reported from Hove, England

@O2 is there any reason the staff in your George St, Hove branch would rudely refuse to offer technical support to someone? My mum popped in to ask for some help when her phone stopped working and was told, without the staff even looking at it, that it was ‘too old’. The phone is

Techie Twitter!!! Has anyone bought a mobile phone signal booster for their house and if so, any recommendations? Need it for @EE and @O2

  • garypleece
Gary Pleece (@garypleece) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

Been subjected to the worst episode of customer service I’ve know with @O2 5 calls, inconsistent advice each time. Most ironic thing is that the hold music, apart from being shite, sounds like it’s being played under water and is turned up to 11. It’s a phone company. Jeez.

  • shaunobrien_
Shaun O’Brien (@shaunobrien_) reported from Hove, England

Just been sacked and @O2 send an email ‘your bill is ready.’ Shit service, shit customer service and shit timing. I am so done.

  • scruftgirl
joy flowers (@scruftgirl) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@O2 what the chuff is up with the signal in Brighton yet again. One flaming bar of reception. Have no idea why I am paying you for a terrible service.

  • Mas66778543
TheRealSlimShady 😎 (@Mas66778543) reported from Haywards Heath, England

@O2 Well after upgrading to an iPhone 14 Pro you managed to disconnect my line causing my Apple Watch and iPhone 14 Pro device plans to be taken from my account without authorisation at a cost of £1950!! Bravo 👏🏻 couldn’t recommend o2 to my worst enemy these days.

  • RobertClayo1984
Robert (@RobertClayo1984) reported from Worthing, England

@O2 doesn’t care about vulnerability of their customers! I had a 7 minute seizure today couldn’t call for help as they have disconnected me AGAIN could have caused brain damage to me

  • garypleece
Gary Pleece (@garypleece) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@O2 It’s too late. I’m broken. Whatever happened to your gurus? They used to solve things. Bring back the bots.

  • mel_shad
    💀☠Mel Shad ☠💀 (@mel_shad) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England

@pedros113 @O2 Actually, until the last month or so I've had excellent service from them and no complaints at all, so I dont think they are 'shite' at all. I was only asking if there was some kind of fault that might have caused the change.

  • TimPBreden
Tim Breden (@TimPBreden) reported from Arundel, England

Oh my @O2 this is shameful customer service, new iPhone 12 arrives Thu a.m. & wasn’t working, told need to wait 24 hrs for SIM to activate. 24 hrs later not working, told phone barred, no reason given, wait 24 hrs, phone not working. Now Sat & told block hasn’t been removed, WOW

  • thekinaton
🔥🕊️ Jason Sensation 🔥🕊️ (@thekinaton) reported from Hove, England

Wow @O2 promo at @EmberInns is out of stock. Never happened in 3 months.

  • sammi_hills
Sam Hills (@sammi_hills) reported from Hove, England

Wanted to get the new IPhone 11, as I’m well over my upgrade time with @O2 but again it’s far cheaper to get a new contract or go with EE then upgrade. I’ll never understand why companies don’t give loyal customers (been with them since o2 started) a better or same deal.

  • thekinaton
🔥🕊️ Jason Sensation 🔥🕊️ (@thekinaton) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

If you are planning to use @o2 vouchers in @allbarone #brighton. Regardless of you having multiply SIM cards or codes.. they will accept only one per customer, despite O2 saying you can use multiply. Love to hear @eatdrinkmb comments on this matter...

O2 Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Chris94501165
    Chris (@Chris94501165) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 Tom, cell masts use this thing called electricity. Essentially O2 are underpowering them due to the cost of energy. The bad news for you is that the cost of Net Zero is increasing those energy costs. Who enshrined it in to law? Secondary order consequences are a thing...

  • jayrodgerson
    purple jay💛💙💛💙 (@jayrodgerson) reported

@O2 why is it so hard to do anything on your app. It's embarrassing that your app is so bad

  • SarahLudford
    Sarah Ludford 🇬🇧 🇮🇪🇪🇺 🇺🇦 (@SarahLudford) reported

It’s not just ‘recently’ @O2. @TomTugendhat is absolutely right that your mobile coverage in London is consistently poor. I have found it better in rural Spain than in ‘London, Global City’. Perhaps @MayorofLondon could direct his £7m PR spend to mobile infrastructure instead?

  • clairew930
    Claire Louise (@clairew930) reported

@O2 please can you advise why your app never seems to work anymore when trying to view bills or make payments. It’s become a joke since you merged with Virgin

  • Afine849962
    Afine (@Afine849962) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @vodafone Nope never had any issues with the EE signal or network.

  • Carswift
    Carswift (@Carswift) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE So the Gov has to drop money from public infrastructure and fix the mess of private companies? And then these private companies will take the profit? hah

  • sharlewis58
    Shar 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@sharlewis58) reported

@SarahLudford @virginmedia @O2 That's why I left them unreservedly, an utter arse to try to interact. One system not talking to the other, no human to help sort. Mid contract hikes. Went to Sky - no regrets, easy xfer & lower bills

  • Truly_Anomalous
    Dan - Truly_Anomalous 🐦 (@Truly_Anomalous) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 I left the O2 network this month. Our local access point is constantly either down or just not serving data. Fixes rarely last more than a week or two.

  • puncharama
    Christopher (NOT Chris) (@puncharama) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @vodafone Try speaking to the regulator about it then you can really see why uk services are so poor

  • williampharford
    William Harford (@williampharford) reported

@worstall @O2 @vodafone Maybe they'll help improve matters like they have with equity investments in local broadband...
