Sam Hills (@sammi_hills) reported from Hove, EnglandWanted to get the new IPhone 11, as I’m well over my upgrade time with @O2 but again it’s far cheaper to get a new contract or go with EE then upgrade. I’ll never understand why companies don’t give loyal customers (been with them since o2 started) a better or same deal.

Russell Macdonald (@russmacdonald) reported from Sompting, England@ElectricTempus @VodafoneUK @O2 The thing is that everyone’s experience is different. I’ve been with O2 and Three in the past as well. Like a lot of providers it’s fine when it works but dreadful if you need to get in touch. Need to take a leaf from Monzo Bank customer service.

🔥🕊️ Jason Sensation 🔥🕊️ (@thekinaton) reported from Brighton and Hove, EnglandIf you are planning to use @o2 vouchers in @allbarone #brighton. Regardless of you having multiply SIM cards or codes.. they will accept only one per customer, despite O2 saying you can use multiply. Love to hear @eatdrinkmb comments on this matter...

Johanna (@smileyblonde43) reported from Hove, England@O2 I’m not sure what number it is that you want. My mum went into store, they wouldn’t even look at her phone so I doubt they made a note of her phone or customer number. This isn’t the first time she’s had poor service in that store. Luckily she’s able to go into the Brighton store
-
Johanna (@smileyblonde43) reported from Hove, England@O2 is there any reason the staff in your George St, Hove branch would rudely refuse to offer technical support to someone? My mum popped in to ask for some help when her phone stopped working and was told, without the staff even looking at it, that it was ‘too old’. The phone is
-
Louise (@louise_sarah) reported from Crawley, EnglandOnce again at Gatwick and terrible @O2 connection. 5 months to go before I can leave their absolutely unreliable network
-
TheRealSlimShady 😎 (@Mas66778543) reported from Haywards Heath, England@O2 Well after upgrading to an iPhone 14 Pro you managed to disconnect my line causing my Apple Watch and iPhone 14 Pro device plans to be taken from my account without authorisation at a cost of £1950!! Bravo 👏🏻 couldn’t recommend o2 to my worst enemy these days.
-
joy flowers (@scruftgirl) reported from Brighton and Hove, England@O2 dreadful, dreadful service yet again. 1/2 bars of reception in the middle of Brighton on a hill. I despair.
-
Robert (@RobertClayo1984) reported from Worthing, England@O2 doesn’t care about vulnerability of their customers! I had a 7 minute seizure today couldn’t call for help as they have disconnected me AGAIN could have caused brain damage to me
-
joy flowers (@scruftgirl) reported from Brighton and Hove, England@O2 here we go again. In the same room as my Virgin router and I have a measly ONE bar of reception. I’m equidistant between masts in the middle of Brighton. Dreadful service.
-
Matt (he/him) (@happy_matty86) reported from Haywards Heath, EnglandTechie Twitter!!! Has anyone bought a mobile phone signal booster for their house and if so, any recommendations? Need it for @EE and @O2
-
Nabil Jamshed (@NabilJamshed) reported from Crawley, England@acorbettn @O2 @metpoliceuk 😲OMG.....how terrible..... hope you are all OK👌🏽....its ironic as only yesterday I heard a discussion that piggy crimes are at an increase which could be attributed to job losses and businesses shut down during COVID. Take care of yourself.
O2 Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Joyboy 🌞 (@hxlds) reported@O2 @TheO2 your speakers work just fine, please turn it down a bit! Didn’t come to a concert to leave deaf
-
MartinWW❌ (@swaledalebirds_) reported@Savplast60 @kokeshimum @O2 You ******* retard.
-
Mark Breeze🕷💙💻🐟 #FBPE #FBPA #RejoinEU🇺🇦 (@MarkyB_62) reported@kokeshimum @O2 Because the operators put profit ahead of service? Coverage investment goes into the high traffic/ high profit urban areas, at the expense of suburban & rural coverage. Better regulation would help.
-
𝕁𝕠𝕣𝕕𝕪 (@garynetchells) reportedWhat is it with the infrastructure of mobile networks in the UK when you can get a signal - at all on a train?! Why is that? Why in 2026 with a digital generation can I not access an email on a train? It’s ridiculous @O2 @VodafoneUK @EE
-
Dean Noble (@deanyboy80) reported@O2 can you sort out your customer service phone lines!!!!!! I am trying to do an insurance claim for my device and its saying you are open 8am to 8pm weekdays and to call back then, thanks!!! my phone is unusable so can't use the app. so what am I meant to do.
-
Martin Lee (@Watch_n_Wait) reported@kokeshimum @O2 Listen to any talk radio show and the regularity with which they "lose" guests and callers is embarrassing, and nearly all down to dodgy mobile connections. Sadly Brits gave up a really decent landline system for the "convenience" of mobile without thinking about quality.
-
Emma Hawker (@emma_hawker) reported@O2 apologies if I misspell the name but I just spoke with someone called Oshama on the 4445 number and she has helped resolved a problem I’ve had for weeks that’s been really frustrating and getting me down, I can’t thank her enough, it’s finally being resolved 🥲🙏🏼
-
millie (@overgrownmillie) reported@O2 tell me how I'm supposed to make an online claim about my stolen iPhone when every time I try and use the link it comes up with error 401 unauthorised. What is my £15 a month actually doing if I can't access this ****?????
-
michael maccallum (@michaelnotabot1) reported@kokeshimum @O2 Because whenever the mobile companies want to put up masts to solve the problem everyone objects. See also pretty much any kind of infrastructure improvements
-
Mario Behrendt | AI Founder (@behrendtio) reported@kokeshimum @O2 One could argue you’re in Huddersfield. It’s not the “highest priority area” to build infrastructure let’s say. But I’m in London and during a typical commute on an overground train I lose my signal entirely at least 3 times. Both on EE and Vodafone. Incredible.
