John McCarthy (@Danford2013) reported from Whickham, England@O2 I was spammed. Then defrauded. Went to O2 shop and reported issue. Told Fraud Dept would contact within 2 days. Three further calls to O2 (2O2) and one month later still no Fraud contact and no resolution. Today notice to take another payment. @O2 any chance of sorting?

-
🎃👻💀🙀🧟♂️ #booToYou (@ilovefluffy) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England@O2 so… appalling service, no signal abroad, no signal at home… thought I might try to refresh my phone but it turns out that I can’t because last year there was a delay in getting my phone to me so my usual refresh date in October has been pushed back til November!
-
Sami (@Sami_antha83) reported from Gateshead, England@O2sports @O2 #O2Surprises - would love to receive an @EnglandRugby top to support England men’s and women’s rugby. 🌹 putting the request out there in hope that one day as a loyal customer since BT Cellnet days I’ll get an #O2Surprises fingers crossed 🤞 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
-
Spooky Scary Skeledrops🎃🎃🎃 (@doc_drops) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England@O2 Your coverage in most of Newcastle is shocking, I live in NE2 and the best signal I get is 1 bar of 3G in my iPhone 7
-
andrew 🎃 (@ilovefluffy) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England@O2 I was supposed to get a free upgrade every 12 months but your "problems with supply" last year meant that I didn't get my new phone for over a month after I requested it, so my refresh date is a month later, which pushes it past my annual christmas trip. It's a farce.
O2 Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Phil (@Lodovicho) reported@O2 Ive emailed your CEO. highly recommend i get a response from customer relations sooner rather than later.
-
fiona cozens (@cozens_fio58099) reported@grahamstyle @SkyNews @O2 Good luck. Don’t think they prioritise helping customers, including those who have been loyal for decades. They take your money and couldn’t care less that you can’t access their not fit for purpose service.
-
Viridis (@Lord_Viridis) reported@O2 @1stSimona I warned you O2 what was happening, fix it or @Ofcom will definitely be investigating. People cannot access their accounts. Zero access just a loop of virgin O2 flavoured ****
-
The Music Man (@DavidJa51216245) reported@O2 No. It serously affected my work so i went with another provider. Id been with you and your previous incarnations for 30 years! Do you rememember Genie? Thats how you started and i was with you since then and so the service i received from you and sending balifs is disgusting
-
Jamie Daltry (@JamieDaltry) reported@O2 yet again I have to deal with your hateful webpage & app. Since your ill advised tie in with virgin media the whole experience is awful. If it weren’t for your coverage, I would leave immediately. Just signing in is a minefield, gave up on VAT invoice yrs ago, just the pits.
-
Ian Judd (@Marooned_Sailor) reported@o2 my iPhone has one bar with a letter E or zero bars, but my partners google pixel 8pro has 4g and three bars on the same train sitting next to each other! wtf! Sort it!
-
Potatoface (@spudhead1986) reported@O2 how can I not get any service in two major places in the south east. London Bridge and bluewater! Less than 4g in both places is shocking
-
Benjamin Webster (@benjaminlfc) reported@O2 @JustinDiamond16 Many, many people have reported this just on X alone, I have reported it via Customer Service and they’ve opened a ticket and nothing has been done (no surprises there). This has been going on for months and months, if you do manage to get to the section where it asks for your card details choosing the Apple Pay option just spins and spins and then says Apple Pay isn’t available, if you manually enter card details 9 times out of 10 the payment fails. Turn to the IVR system over the phone and payments are successful, a payment reference is read out by the automated system at the speed of light therefore you have absolutely no time to write it down and then said payment just doesn’t reflect on the account. Why you messed around with the billing system I’ll never know, 18 years this year I’ll have been an O2 customer and the previous system was perfectly fine, have you never heard of the phrase “IF IT AIN’T BROKE DON’T FIX IT”?
-
Hayley Laura (@LilHay) reported@O2 @pethard_connor FOUR DAYS WAITING FOR U TO SORT THE ISSUE. TRY RESPONDING TO DMS I SENT OVER 19 HOURS AGO AND GRT THIS SORTED. I will be taking this further
-
Nick Cunningham (@R1verRat) reported@1stSimona @O2 @o2 Customer service has gone downhill fast since merger too. Can't do so many things in app so have to call or webchat. CS agents seem to be there purely to keep you in a loop.
