Has your Internet gone down @plusnethelp @Plusnet? NHS worker struggling to work from home here.

@benjymous @Plusnet Sounds much more like it from their customer services. I’ll try and use the referral code if I can, but it may clash with the Bluelight discount my wife gets. Gouging a #keyworker in a global crisis isn’t classy thanks again @EE.

From recent experience I can confirm this tweet is total nonsense. I’m moving all of my services elsewhere. Customer service 0/10, shambles. I suggest you all check if you can get a better deal elsewhere. (@Plusnet expect my call)

@supertanskiii You buy nothing - I have @Plusnet too - contact them & @plusnethelp and they will probably send you a new router. The new “Hub One” is good. May also help to get a couple of Wi-Fi extenders, which I did, connect the extender to Plusnet and then extender “re-broadcasts” the signal

@supertanskiii I’ve got Plusnet, and the WiFi on the router is poor (I just had a survey from them & I rated the WiFi as poor). I have put a couple of TP-Link WiFi access points in my flat to get better coverage, all hanging off the network ports on the Plusnet router!

@supertanskiii What is the problem with your Plusnet router ? Have you spoken to Plusnet and asked them for a new one ? You shouldn't need to retain your existing router as a modem I'm a big fan of Draytek and Cisco routers but they can be tricky to set up as there's a LOT in there to bugger up

Cenydd Roberts (@CenyddRoberts) reported
@supertanskiii @Brizo751 I’m quite sure my Plusnet router is an anus router, given the claims about their performance and service.

@supertanskiii Buy your own devolo wifi magic 2 power line adapters are really good you can clone it to your existing router or put you plusnet on modem mode only. Theres lots options out there. Will cost £90-130. But check if it's your download speeds going into your property are crap first?

David Gibson (@dcag39) reported
@supertanskiii If you have Fibre broadband you need a VDSL Modem router, log in to your plusnet account search in help for own router and it should tell you what details you need to put in your new router to connect to there network.

@supertanskiii Ours was shite too. Kept loosing wi-Fi on all devices. Its a known issue that the device switches between 2.4 and 5 ghz depending on range but fails and drops the device. Spoke to Plusnet and they talked me through disabling 5 ghz. After that haven’t had any problem.
