From recent experience I can confirm this tweet is total nonsense. I’m moving all of my services elsewhere. Customer service 0/10, shambles. I suggest you all check if you can get a better deal elsewhere. (@Plusnet expect my call)

@PickGS @Plusnet @plusnethelp It’s blatant profiteering - I need broadband to work from home and I’m now paying £35 instead of £22 - and to think their selling point was excellent UK customer service 🙄

@benjymous @Plusnet Sounds much more like it from their customer services. I’ll try and use the referral code if I can, but it may clash with the Bluelight discount my wife gets. Gouging a #keyworker in a global crisis isn’t classy thanks again @EE.

@Plusnet I am having issues with my home WiFi connection since doing a separate password change on my plusnet online account. Do you have an email address I can send router reference images to , to discuss / resolve? Many thanks

Don’t ever get @Plusnet broadband! Tried to cancel within 14 days of it going live due to it being absolutely useless, to then be told the cooling off period was from when I signed up!! 🤬. (Had to switch the WiFi off to tweet this)

@billykayscot I've been with Plusnet for 6yrs always negotiated my renewal. Found their customer service is good which is a "Plus" nowadays.

@Norton No spam. Think that it's a communication problem between yourselves and @plusnethelp . Such that every time you attempt to confirm the account with PlusNet there's a negative response and I receive an email saying that there's a problem re the account.

@EE When you discontinue your femtocell service, you are going to lose at least one customer from your @Plusnet arm. I have relied on my femtocell for 12 years as there is no usable signal without walking a hundred yards from my house.

@aaron_cane At this point, the speeds/consistency/prices are all basically the same for most people, so my advice is to choose based on customer service ratings. We have plusnet, and they're the first ISP I've used where I've actually enjoyed speaking to them. NEVER go to EE.

@SapAud Afternoon, I'm sorry to hear that you feel that way in regards to the femtocell service being discontinued from the end of the month. Have you contacted Plusnet to see what options are available? I fully understand the service has been useful at your address. -Neil

@InCockKneeToe @Plusnet They are all the same. Threaten to leave, they may get you a better deal. But I have found if you get a new contract with another provider, your current provider will fall over themselves to give you a very good deal. All you then do is cancel the new deal. It’s all a big scam.

Interesting that @Plusnet but my wifi up to £47.99 a month without warning once my contract was up but now I’ve cancelled they can suddenly offer me a £25.99 contract for the exact same service. A cuntract if you will.

no sign of promised refund. Time to contact ombudsman and start making a lot of public noise about this. Billing issues are a common problem with @Plusnet, particularly when contracts are renewed. The repeated incompetence causes real stress and anxiety for its victims.
