Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Sunderland and nearby locations:

  • BlocknBottle Block & Bottle (@BlocknBottle) reported from Walker Gate, England

@Plusnet HELP! Our internet’s gone down, how can we get it up and running in the next 1 hour and 11 minutes before we open?!

  • remenos Joanne Emerson (@remenos) reported from Sherburn Hill, England

@PickGS @Plusnet @plusnethelp It’s blatant profiteering - I need broadband to work from home and I’m now paying £35 instead of £22 - and to think their selling point was excellent UK customer service 🙄

  • Johnad25 John Adams (@Johnad25) reported from Durham, England

From recent experience I can confirm this tweet is total nonsense. I’m moving all of my services elsewhere. Customer service 0/10, shambles. I suggest you all check if you can get a better deal elsewhere. (@Plusnet expect my call)

  • 2012neil2012 Outdoorsey (@2012neil2012) reported from Dunston, England

@Plusnet I am having issues with my home WiFi connection since doing a separate password change on my plusnet online account. Do you have an email address I can send router reference images to , to discuss / resolve? Many thanks

  • Johnad25 John Adams (@Johnad25) reported from Durham, England

@benjymous @Plusnet Sounds much more like it from their customer services. I’ll try and use the referral code if I can, but it may clash with the Bluelight discount my wife gets. Gouging a #keyworker in a global crisis isn’t classy thanks again @EE.

  • HannahRose1401 Hannah Jeffrey 🇪🇺 (@HannahRose1401) reported from Sunderland Bridge, England

Has your Internet gone down @plusnethelp @Plusnet? NHS worker struggling to work from home here.

  • nokiboi Nokiboi (@nokiboi) reported

@SkyHelpTeam on Sunday got email saying sim sent, still no sign of it, royal snail mail must be really slow, think I shld have stayed with plusnet

  • PrometheusTitan Dan James (@PrometheusTitan) reported

I can do it on a per-device level where possible, but I'd much rather do it network-wide. I intend to eventually add my own DHCP server (I have an Ubiquiti network setup at home) and will then disable DHCP on the PlusNet Hub, but until then is there a way to change DNS there?

  • skalovingeek stephanie (@skalovingeek) reported

@Plusnet no service this morning. We live in a poor mobile signal area, my husband relies on WiFi for work. Are there any network problems today

  • tommy_stalker Tommy Stalker (@tommy_stalker) reported

    @plusnet Internet down no helplines open #timetoleave #plusnet #useless

  • strikewaffle SaltySeaDog 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇪🇺 (@strikewaffle) reported

@plusnethelp @Plusnet I've had DNS timeout issues all day, both WiFi and wire connected devices. I've manually changed my laptop to OpenDNS and getting great service again, but my phones etc on plusnet DNS are hobbled unless I switch to 4G. Can you check your service please?

  • katienozzle Katie (@katienozzle) reported

@Plusnet like ‘your contract is about to expire, we love having you, you’re a great customer so if you renew we’ve got a great offer for you where we’re going to charge you an extra £4 a month’

  • cityon86 Oliver Nightingale (@cityon86) reported

@baildogg @Plusnet I ****** plusnet off cos there customer services was terrible... They pride themselves on british call centre, only problem British people are *****!

  • JohnCarthy_ John Carthy (@JohnCarthy_) reported

@Plusnet worst customer service I have ever had, failed to provide broadband, agreed to release from contract. Took a payment of £85 anyway then promised to pay it back. 8 weeks later and no refund!

  • NeighLad Kenny Blakemore (@NeighLad) reported
