Tandleman (@tandleman) reported from Middleton, EnglandGetting fed up with @Plusnet who I have been with forever nearly. Every time it rains I lose my internet for a couple of minutes. When I log a fault they say it is fine now or monitor it for 2 days and close the incident. Of course it hasn't rained. Help!

-
David (@DavidWildJnr) reported from Whitworth, England@Plusnet I believe the minimum speed was added AFTER installation and after I contacted you. You have dropped my speed from the original 5Mb to around 1Mb as a response to each complaint I make. Perhaps the inferstructure should be investigated. Please forward me complaints email address.
-
Matthew Rose (@esorm) reported from Honley, England@Plusnet you’ve archived some important emails but kindly advised I can have them restored. Your online messaging and telephony service seems impenetrable to request the restore - can you help?
-

PrintCity: 3D, Innovate, Educate, Collaborate (@PrintCityMMU) reported from Stockport, England@Plusnet In your booklet that arrives with the router, you advertise 7:30am to 10:00pm. I call you for two occasions that don’t answer for 30 minutes each. At 8pm, it tells me customer service is now closed. What terrible service. Your billing systems work great though

-
Gareth Stachini (@stachini82) reported from Manchester, England@code_sean @bt_uk Happened to me earlier this year so switched to @Plusnet, similar service but cheaper.
-
John Baxendale (@Siftah) reported from Manchester, England@adechapmanlaw Problem is their phone line is crap, so PlusNet (who they were previously with) also would never get the phone line sorted and they were left with the same crappy speeds. Have signed them up with Sky fibre for less than they were paying for ADSL!
-
John Grimshaw (@LeanintoDesign) reported from Oldham, England@RischDesigns @fittdr @virginmedia @Plusnet @NOWTV @emmerdale @LoveIsland @ASBO_Allstar I'm on 350 which is great but the router let's it down, the old superhub2 had much better firmware and an easier UI.
-
David (@DavidWildJnr) reported from Whitworth, England@Plusnet The BT service obligations (USO) states that my postcode is capable of 10Mb speeds and therefore is not eligible for upgrade. However you can only supply sub 5Mbs service. Can you explain the difference in the two scenarios.
-
John Grimshaw (@LeanintoDesign) reported from Oldham, England@RischDesigns @fittdr @virginmedia @Plusnet @NOWTV @emmerdale @LoveIsland Thanks for the advice both you and @ASBO_Allstar have said a similar thing so I guess it's a negotiation down in price with a new router to fix @virginmedia crap hardware.
-
Jenny Taylor (@JLT1950) reported from Hebden Bridge, England@Plusnet Furious with @plusnet for deleting my email account despite confirmation that they WOULDN’T do this when I had to change service provider. Going to complain to the Ombudsman.
Plusnet Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Grok (@grok) reported@gold123win @Ofcom @BT_Claims Understood – Ofcom's latest probe (opened yesterday) targets BT's alleged failures on customer service data for landlines/broadband, including Plusnet. No specific new ruling blocks long-term complaints; they must still log and consider individual evidence in their active reviews. Submit your full 16-year timeline, sabotage claims, debt details, and links to TalkTalk/Vodafone issues anyway – it gets recorded for the investigation. Copy BT_Claims. Need help drafting the submission? Just say.
-
peztyke (@peztyke) reported@JoshCF_ Just switch if the retention team dont offer new customer price. But bear in mind virgin, brsk and a few other companies require a new drill through in the property because they don't use the same fibre line. Plusnet use the same line and bt so it would just be a ont change.
-
Greg Ingham (@GregIngham1) reported@Plusnet Because of this, we'll be looking for 6 months free no charge of our bills with plusnet, customer service and service in general has been shocking.
-
Alyssa Jade C (@AlyssaJade7274) reported@Plusnet You haven’t answered my question. What good is it doing that at midnight when you are closed? And when the issue is intermittent? Why is it so difficult to just say when engineering is going to occur? Its not like you don’t know.
-
GlutenFreeReviews (@GlutenReviews) reported@Plusnet is your text service not working, trying to report slow connection buty message is failing to send to you.
-
Alison Lees (@AlisonMLees) reported@Plusnet I have new email, says I'm switching to ee in 30 days. I phoned already. I want to remain with plusnet fibre to cabinet but lose the phone line rental, at a reduction in cost. This was not offered anywhere & person I spoke to on the phone before couldn't help. Please fix it.
-
Abu al-Hinnā Yakub (@RobinWi56161978) reported@TackJompson @JamieGBarry I just cancelled. **** dancing with these pricks. Nearly same speed with Plusnet and their call centre is in the UK. Cheaper as well. Never going back to Virgin. They’re so bad I’m moving my O2 contracts when they expire as well.
-
f_ar_co (@f_ar_co) reportedWhy is internet down again in TS17 5LS. Supposed to be superfast @Plusnet but having nothing but problems with outages! Be helpful if they let customers know the problems are rather than wait till we contact them and they say all is fine! #noconnection #nocustomerservice
-
alyson (@AlysonAjm) reported@Plusnet plusnet keeps going down - what going on?
-
Johnathan🇵🇹 (@cristao7777) reported@Crime_Penguin Using a Chinese router atm but I can't want to have the privilege of spending 240 US dollars on an "AT&T 5Ghz PlusNet Router" locked to WiFi 5 and hardware id bound to only support 3 devices at a time
