  • LeanintoDesign
John Grimshaw (@LeanintoDesign) reported from Oldham, England

@RischDesigns @fittdr @virginmedia @Plusnet @NOWTV @emmerdale @LoveIsland Thanks for the advice both you and @ASBO_Allstar have said a similar thing so I guess it's a negotiation down in price with a new router to fix @virginmedia crap hardware.

  • adrianswimmer
Adrian Hawley (@adrianswimmer) reported from Meltham, England

@plusnet I'm trying to turn off the answer service via the online manage your account.... The account says an error has occurred "you can't change your products for the moment, you have an order which is currently being processed. Please try again later". 8 months it said this.

  • MiguelGilbert24
Miguel Gilbert (@MiguelGilbert24) reported from Manchester, England

@Plusnet I tried all you ask me to try... you are the worse network ever. You expensive you slow and you basic. On this lockdown you were terrible... but still can merge with @VodafoneUK that charge 7 pounds for a call they didnโ€™t pick up ...

  • LeanintoDesign
John Grimshaw (@LeanintoDesign) reported from Oldham, England

@fittdr @virginmedia I'm hearing good things about @Plusnet on the customer service side, but it's the TiVo I'd miss, we are seriously considering @NOWTV broadband and TV as we already use them for sky movies but need to investigate if we (the wife) can watch @emmerdale and @LoveIsland ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

  • goochy808
Peter Gough (@goochy808) reported from Ashton-under-Lyne, England

@Plusnet My broadband should have gone live today. Internet from old ISP ceased at midnight. You promised me uninterrupted service. My wife had to take a days leave today as she works form home using MS Teams and could not connect. Awful service. How do I cancel?

Bit **** how Iโ€™ve been on the phone to plusnet around 6 times now regarding my broadband which isnโ€™t working and after failing to phone me back like they promised yesterday they finally report it as a fault in the line which could take 3-5 days to be addressed.

  • John_Eccles
John Eccles (@John_Eccles) reported from Diggle, England

@PatrickJDiamond @bt_uk I moved to plusnet fibre itโ€™s been great. I was with EE and it was shockingly slow.

  • Siftah
John Baxendale (@Siftah) reported from Manchester, England

@adechapmanlaw Problem is their phone line is crap, so PlusNet (who they were previously with) also would never get the phone line sorted and they were left with the same crappy speeds. Have signed them up with Sky fibre for less than they were paying for ADSL!

  • JLT1950
Jenny Taylor (@JLT1950) reported from Hebden Bridge, England

@Plusnet Furious with @plusnet for deleting my email account despite confirmation that they WOULDNโ€™T do this when I had to change service provider. Going to complain to the Ombudsman.

  • MiguelGilbert24
Miguel Gilbert (@MiguelGilbert24) reported from Manchester, England

@Plusnet you are the worst I ever used. I just want things to come back to normal so I can change ... never use #plusnet itโ€™s the worst. Slow... expensive ... and no response if you call

  • ShawnLorenzoo

@trufflenat90H @plusnethelp @Plusnet @EE @KhaalidGrantbel Ok thank you I will be calling plusnet to cancel the Internet is slow I canโ€™t even watch @AFTVMedia without it cancelling

  • DavidWildJnr
David (@DavidWildJnr) reported from Whitworth, England

@Plusnet I believe the minimum speed was added AFTER installation and after I contacted you. You have dropped my speed from the original 5Mb to around 1Mb as a response to each complaint I make. Perhaps the inferstructure should be investigated. Please forward me complaints email address.

  • aracoroneld
Araceli Coronel (@aracoroneld) reported from Manchester, England

    @Plusnet your service sucks!!

  • LeanintoDesign
John Grimshaw (@LeanintoDesign) reported from Oldham, England

@RischDesigns @fittdr @virginmedia @Plusnet @NOWTV @emmerdale @LoveIsland @ASBO_Allstar I'm on 350 which is great but the router let's it down, the old superhub2 had much better firmware and an easier UI.

  • MD_Briggs
    Michael Briggs ๐Ÿ”ฌ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽธ๐Ÿ๐Ÿฆ”๐Ÿบ๐ŸŒฑ (@MD_Briggs) reported

@ArmchairAdml BT is dreadful tbh. Only found out that broadband has gone up - have really a bad rural service too - & they are charging ยฃ4/mo for a land line that I dont use. Got a better ยฃ20 deal from plusnet - called BT and told them to match it or Iโ€™m leaving - they matched it (nearly) ๐Ÿ‘

@Plusnet Why is my mum who has been a long time customer of yours not getting as good a deal as a brand new customer?

  • ITVRobShelley
    Rob Shelley (@ITVRobShelley) reported

@Plusnet Hello! Because of your former great service, I called to stay with yourselves not switch to EE. Whilst Tamsin and David who took my call were lovely - and v good at their jobs - sadly the whole call, incl hold time, took just under half an hour - that's bang out of order

  • dysontour
    Rob Dyson (@dysontour) reported

@Plusnet @BECCABEAN You really aren't thinking about your customers. I asked a simple question about being moved whilst out of contract and just get the stupid bots.

  • Kirstyelsevfit
    Kirsty@Quarriers (@Kirstyelsevfit) reported

Absolutely ridiculous, actually non existent service from Plusnet. They pride themselves on their customer service but they cant provide the actual wifi service! Dont have any solutions and are only friendly when they can solve the problem.

  • JDSuker
    Jaime Dodd (@JDSuker) reported

Try @Plusnet treat their existing customers so much better!

  • MachLoopWales
    MachLoopWales (@MachLoopWales) reported

@Nolberto099 @ArmchairAdml Not missing the point at all. Well done. It's a common business model to increase charges after the 'new customer' period. There's no loyalty either way, just leave and get the same service from Plusnet/EE (same company as BT) for far less. Takes minutes.

  • davidjohn73_
    DBBB (@davidjohn73_) reported

@BluntMancLady @Plusnet Count yourself lucky I never received mine. I would be highly dubious of anything they offer to get you to sign up.

  • helkhiana
    Helkhiana (@helkhiana) reported

@saltyy_savage I had Virgin media for years and only issues and expensive contracts. I am on Plusnet right now ยฃ43/46 for 900mb with 0 problems and uk customer services. They do ยฃ3 increase yearly and I am curious to see my first contract end what I'll get. Bet still better than virgin

  • cureisworse
    TheCureIsWorseThanTheDisease (@cureisworse) reported

@Plusnet Ok. I will wait for them to contact me then as I'm not chasing again, given I get ofcom-mandated compensation for missed appointments and delays of starting a service after an agreed date.
