@Plusnet I tried all you ask me to try... you are the worse network ever. You expensive you slow and you basic. On this lockdown you were terrible... but still can merge with @VodafoneUK that charge 7 pounds for a call they didn’t pick up ...

  • DavidWildJnr David (@DavidWildJnr) reported from Whitworth, England

@Plusnet The BT service obligations (USO) states that my postcode is capable of 10Mb speeds and therefore is not eligible for upgrade. However you can only supply sub 5Mbs service. Can you explain the difference in the two scenarios.

  • micahscotttt mary queen of thots 🥦Ⓥ (@micahscotttt) reported from Manchester, England

Bit **** how I’ve been on the phone to plusnet around 6 times now regarding my broadband which isn’t working and after failing to phone me back like they promised yesterday they finally report it as a fault in the line which could take 3-5 days to be addressed.

  • goochy808 Peter Gough (@goochy808) reported from Ashton-under-Lyne, England

@Plusnet My broadband should have gone live today. Internet from old ISP ceased at midnight. You promised me uninterrupted service. My wife had to take a days leave today as she works form home using MS Teams and could not connect. Awful service. How do I cancel?

  • PrintCityMMU PrintCity: 3D, Innovate, Educate, Collaborate (@PrintCityMMU) reported from Stockport, England

@Plusnet In your booklet that arrives with the router, you advertise 7:30am to 10:00pm. I call you for two occasions that don’t answer for 30 minutes each. At 8pm, it tells me customer service is now closed. What terrible service. Your billing systems work great though

  • chickvonpea 🐣🐥 Sarah 🐣 🐥 (@chickvonpea) reported from Meltham, England

@EmilyinYork @Plusnet "We'll to you proud" my arse. Dad had issues with them last year.

  • chickvonpea 🐣🐥 Sarah 🐣 🐥 (@chickvonpea) reported from Meltham, England

@EmilyinYork @Plusnet "we'll do you proud" my arse. Dad had issues with them last year over his internet. Them and BT going back and forth blaming each other.

  • DavidWildJnr David (@DavidWildJnr) reported from Whitworth, England

@Plusnet I believe the minimum speed was added AFTER installation and after I contacted you. You have dropped my speed from the original 5Mb to around 1Mb as a response to each complaint I make. Perhaps the inferstructure should be investigated. Please forward me complaints email address.

  • MiguelGilbert24 Miguel Gilbert (@MiguelGilbert24) reported from Manchester, England

@Plusnet you are the worst I ever used. I just want things to come back to normal so I can change ... never use #plusnet it’s the worst. Slow... expensive ... and no response if you call

  • John_Eccles John Eccles (@John_Eccles) reported from Diggle, England

@PatrickJDiamond @bt_uk I moved to plusnet fibre it’s been great. I was with EE and it was shockingly slow.

  • Siftah John Baxendale (@Siftah) reported from Manchester, England

@adechapmanlaw Problem is their phone line is crap, so PlusNet (who they were previously with) also would never get the phone line sorted and they were left with the same crappy speeds. Have signed them up with Sky fibre for less than they were paying for ADSL!

  • nebzy17 nebzy (@nebzy17) reported from Manchester, England

@Plusnet Stop arsing around with this crap and answer my message to @plusnethelp - Why you got staff on football polls???? 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩

  • chefstuartburt stuart burt (@chefstuartburt) reported from Ashton-under-Lyne, England

@Plusnet @plusnethelp Andy baker you should be ashamed of the service you offer. new customer 5 weeks in and still jo broadband £50 for nothing. £65 for an engineer and I have to take a day off and it will be another 2 weeks...oh £190 to leave!!! a joke!!!

Hey @Plusnet all ok with your Mobile network.. Calls are not getting connected.

  • KateRav66 Kate Ravenscroft (@KateRav66) reported from Wilmslow, England

@plusnethelp hi, my service is due to start today and my old broadband has been disconnected but I haven’t had a text telling me my plusnet broadband is ready to set up yet. I have the router.

  • RickyCarterna Ric (@RickyCarterna) reported from Cheadle Hulme, England

@plusnethelp broadband swap over due today, current provider has now disconnected, PlusNet service not initiated. Cannot reach your helpline to confirm switch over. Not a good first impression.

Plusnet Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • hobbsy hobbsy (@hobbsy) reported

Infuriating experience trying to get anything fixed with #VirginMedia over the phone. Why are all broadband customer services so awful? Had a month long debacle twice with #Plusnet few years ago trying to help relatives get set up (only finally resolved by emailing Plusnet CEO)

  • jennam1767 Jenna (@jennam1767) reported

@Plusnet my internets not working and your call centres closed! I really need this sorted ASAP it's saying 3 days for a response surely not???!!!!

  • ash_ayl Ash (@ash_ayl) reported

@Plusnet Switched to BT Business Broadband as you are closing down your business services, yet I've received a cancellation bill when you advised this shouldn't be the case!

  • laf100 Lea Freeman (@laf100) reported

@Plusnet you have told me there is a local problem with my broadband detected in 21st Nov & will not be resolved until the 5th - surely I must be compensated for this extended outage?

  • JustGayla_TTV JustGayla_TTV (@JustGayla_TTV) reported

@Plusnet this issue is still persisting eve though we’ve done a full hard reset on our router, this is becoming increasingly frustrating and ongoing for two days now..

  • KeirStitt Keir Stitt 🇺🇦 (@KeirStitt) reported

@HannahAlOthman BT retail itself is absolutely awful. Plusnet is their subsidiary for people who want good service at sensible price. The legacy BT retail is pitched to people who want to pay more for poor service that's got the BT brand attached to it.

  • Plusnet Plusnet (@Plusnet) reported

@dibleydogs Hi there Aileen, I'm really sorry about the problem with your connection. Please send us a DM with your username and I'll make sure we're doing all we can to help. Sorry too for us taking a long while to reply, we've been much busier than expected. - Adam - Plusnet Sheffield

  • TimMEsports Tim Masters (@TimMEsports) reported

@Plusnet Plusnet messed up my installation and then failed to provide a substitute I could use until they fix their error. Now I've sourced a substitute, Plusnet refuse to pay any money towards it and only offer credit, which doesn't cover the cost of the short term fix. Award winning!

  • Adrienne_kewley Adrienne kewley (@Adrienne_kewley) reported

@Plusnet @Plusnet Support question number #229369239 I’ve had to take to social media to try and get my problem resolved I seem to be getting ignored and not helped at all.

  • GrumpyBangali 𝔾𝕣𝕦𝕞𝕡𝕪𝔹𝕒𝕟𝕘𝕒𝕝𝕚 (@GrumpyBangali) reported

Which offers better network coverage @Plusnet (using EE) or @virginmedia (using O2)? Plusnet £12pm 30gig data Virgin £12pm 100gig data
