@SkyHelpTeam I've spoken to yourselves a number of times, and we've came to the same conclusion each time that it's to do with Openreach's network and the work they did in September 2018. The last direct messages sent between yourselves and I was the 28th August 2020.

  • bradfordbrownie

@PMarshy77 @SkyUK got sick of false promises with sky problem after problem said i would never goto to virgin and got to admit it s the best thing i did

  • andrew_triller
Andrew Triller (@andrew_triller) reported from Leeds, England

@SkySports Spurs are holding him back if he doesn’t move he’ll never reach his full potential. Just thinking how great he’d be in a better team like Chelsea plenty of trophies 🏆 then

  • DanielHeath24

@csmithy1 @SkySports Wtf, he actually moved his hand to the ball.

  • StewForsyth
Stewart (@StewForsyth) reported from Leeds, England

@SkyHelpTeam @OpenreachHelp @WeAreOpenreach .. network in 2018. Using the internet or any services (like Sky Catch Up!) are almost impossible as our speeds are so slow. I do appreciate it's not Sky's fault (its Openreach's), but we really need your help to push them to do something while we wait on fibre.

  • hg1fcum
TonyD🇾🇪 (@hg1fcum) reported from Harrogate, England

@BPete1970 @BigEamon75 @SkySports At half time my mate said "we're going to have to tighten up in the second half" he was never allowed to forget it, to the extent the vicar mentioned it at his funeral #Dawsie

  • chrisbowes1959
chrisbowes (@chrisbowes1959) reported from Leeds, England

@SkyHelpTeam No broadband or phone line for Xmas, as its gone down. No engineer until 29th. #sky not fit for purpose.

  • StewForsyth
Stewart (@StewForsyth) reported from Leeds, England

@OpenreachHelp @SkyHelpTeam .. has dropped as a result of Openreach's work (they've been out twice in fact). I then had an Openreach engineer out - he also confirmed the line speed was so slow because the line length was ridiculously long for no reason. After that..

  • StewForsyth
Stewart (@StewForsyth) reported from Leeds, England

@SkyHelpTeam It's the exact same story with fibre to the flats on the estate - they either ignore us, or come up with another excuse as to why they have to delay doing anything about it and then ignore us again. All while they're here every day connecting up houses and fixing their network.

  • DanJowitt
DJ (@DanJowitt) reported from Leeds, England

The game is going down hill quickly because the gane isn't getting any promotion. This isn't just @SkySports fault to be fair @TheRFL need to start standing up for the game properly.

  • willienic
Island van Bearhorst (@willienic) reported from Leeds, England

@SkyHelpTeam I've no satellite signal at all coming through. Went through trouble shooting online and it says I need to book an engineer. Next engineer not available until 22nd December? Not exactly the best service in the world is it?

  • misskg91182
Kathryn Griffin (@misskg91182) reported from Leeds, England

@SkyHelpTeam any advice as to why my broadband is down in north Leeds? And why your "test my connection" service also not working?

  • DavidFox42
David Fox (@DavidFox42) reported from Guiseley, England

@SkyHelpTeam Thanks. But all the self help says if you have adverse weather you may have to wait for it to pass, we do have bad weather just wanted to know if it is a local problem to my area.

  • misskg91182
Kathryn Griffin (@misskg91182) reported from Leeds, England

@SkyHelpTeam Your line testing wasn't working this morning...I've spoken to your call staff (v helpful) but was hoping to check if there was an outage in my area?

  • emmasmithjourno
Emma Smith (@emmasmithjourno) reported from Leeds, England

Today marks one week without internet at home - one week since @SkyUK @SkyHelpTeam promised it would take 'two working days' to fix and it was an @OpenreachHelp issue. Still no date for fix, still paying £20 a month for sweet fa, still the stress of being unable to work properly

  • franjohnstonuk
Frances Johnston 🇺🇦 (@franjohnstonuk) reported from Guiseley, England

@SkyHelpTeam My issue is the lack of info, told that it should be resolved last night but still no Wi-Fi and no info

  • cougarric
Rich T (@cougarric) reported from Keighley, England

@webby179 @SkyHelpTeam Have you had any response to this? I’ve mailed their support but no reply yet.

  • thorniusmaximus
SJT 💙 (@thorniusmaximus) reported from Gildersome, England

@SkyHelpTeam still frequently disconnecting broadband. You sent us a new filter which didn’t even fit, we’ve tried a new cable anyway but judging by your replies on here this is a really WIDESPREAD UK issue and not isolated? What are you going to do about it ?

@SkySports Are you afraid to tell Chelsea fans the real issues? You know the truth, just wont spill it! The rumors are true, the medical team chooses the players to play

  • visitandtravel
    Richard (@visitandtravel) reported

@jammierooroo @SkyUK To clarify my rather abrupt statement - I have Now TV which is broadband version of Sky - you pay for the channels you wish to watch, and as I do not pay the BBC scam tax I can't and don't watch live TV. I signed up to the entertainment package - around £5 a month (on 6 month offer) - I never, or at least very rarely watch it and will not be renewing it. As for their movie channel - why bother? Paramount and Apple TV, via Amazon Prime provide better content and this is a shame as I used to like and enjoy Sky entertainment series (US based) and then suddenly they went 100% woke and just lost the plot in content and quality - same great actors, awful scripts and screenplay. In my opinion of course.

  • cal52612
    One Cal (@cal52612) reported

@jammierooroo @lisareality1 @SkyUK I'm going through same with VM , promised over 300 on Internet connection barely reaching 50 but according to them its over 200 and not a problem, I've even explained to them its no good measuring to Dublin where the server is,measure from the property in the North East, useless

  • jiver66
    Julie Ivers (@jiver66) reported

@jammierooroo @SkyUK ****** are they still doing that? I helped an elderly lady over 15yrs ago fight against Sky for the same reason! I've personally never had and never will have a Sky subscription, they're rip off merchants in my eyes. Heck I don't even watch TV any more, don't have one.

  • Brentle37216709
    Not Karl (@Brentle37216709) reported

@jammierooroo @SkyUK Send an email and mark it as high priority and get receipt of opening it . Cancel she has a cooling off period. And instruct the bank not to process DD saying she was confused .

  • loverlyliza
    Lisa (@loverlyliza) reported

@jammierooroo @SkyUK There must be a 14 day cooling off period for her to cancel. Get her another provider. It’s pretty simple these days. Unacceptable. Poor lady. Appalling from Sky.

  • Glen11Glen

    @jammierooroo @Kate3255742882 @SkyUK you have 14 days to cancel

  • madcow42
    Sarah 🌼 & RIP Jasper 🐾 (@madcow42) reported

@jammierooroo @JAU_4 @SkyUK Doesn’t help when the call centre is based outside of the UK. They just work off a script, no empty or emotions on that script. I do hope you get it sorted, they are the worst company for customer service

  • mattfle02898557
    Scrunch (@mattfle02898557) reported

@jammierooroo @SkyUK yes it's awful, thankfully, you can cancel as there is a cooling off period.
