@MartinSLewis I've just been advised by TalkTalk that even though I cancelled my account 30th Jan and it'll cancel 1st March. I'm having payment for services up to 20th March taken out of my account 1st March and I have to proactively ask for a refund using an online form. 1 of 2

@faulknerdrew @TalkTalk @TalkTalkGroup I’ve been having similar issues. Their staff haven’t got slightest idea! Rang and cancelled today and switched to Sky. Was still in contract but they said they’ve waived it. We’ll see what happens when I get my final bill, not holding my breath

@WheldonLaner That’s my point re 3 though. Not really a better deal if it doesn’t work though is it? I use EE for phones and BT for Internet. Lots of cheaper deals but never been let down by either, and cover and speed is great. Previous to this O2 and TalkTalk went down every few weeks

@dodadaladeda Oh god :( They are so slow! I cancelled and got a £180 cut-off charge! I'm with my old provider until 28th of this month! Signed up with TalkTalk now, so much better and will be faster! But broke the bank picking italk. They are ridiculous! £180!!! :/
