@SkyHelpTeam My broadband was due to be activated by @OpenreachHelp yesterday. The engineer has marked it as a completed job yet I have no active line and have been told to wait up to 5 days for it to be checked. You have 48hrs to fix it or il cancel and go with @virginmedia

.@virginmedia quite possibly the most appalling customer service in the UK, bar none! After calling 3mths ago to cancel a phone contract after a friend died, the number still rings yet today to wait 24hrs for it to cancel! Plus, they want the password from the deceased! 🤬

@OpenreachHelp They have and have been told an engineer within 5 days. Can you not read? Your engineer has lied and so have you. You have 48hrs to activate my line or I will cancel @SkyUK and use @virginmedia who don’t use your **** engineers or infrastructure

@virginmedia Appalling customer service from you guys. After having spent 25mins on hold, I get on but only to be cut off after a short conversation in which the guy on the end didn’t have a clue what he was talking about. Shocking when you consider what we pay on monthly basis!

@virginmedia Firstly, I am new to virgin (3 weeks). I have had to call the faults team 3 times and on each occasion 60+ minutes to wait. Having faults is bad enough but to wait over an hour (almost 3 this evening) is not on. My speed is not as advertised / promised. 1/2

@LeePartridge16 @virginmedia @SkyGroup they weren’t so helpful for me. I pay over £100 there’s lots of deals, not offered any of them. I wouldn’t say it’s the best either but we have limited choice. Broadband is slow and the mini boxes you pay for and a subscription always cut out.

@LeePartridge16 @virginmedia I've been a customer for 22 years, I pay 29 for 100mb, because I ring up when out of contract and negotiate a discount, if they don't I tell them I'm leaving, within 48 hours the retentions team call and offer a better price.

@virginmedia Still within a 24 hour period before being advised to call. Ran tests through the virgin media website yesterday. Issues identified in the area, call in 24 hours if the issue still persists.
