@virginmedia No Internet for 48 hrs and can't work, will you be crediting customers for lack of service?

  • carmadchris Chris (@carmadchris) reported from Hazlemere, England

@notasborednow @virginmedia Obviously you checked and got a no but do you know why others arn't available? I'm assuming at this point you have a land line connection which should get you everyone, if its just disconnected, open reach should be able to re-add Look at mobile as well (if you have signal)

  • TinaReading TinaReadingEditor (@TinaReading) reported from Chesham Bois, England

@virginmedia No and that's the problem. I need it for my grandsons 😪😪😪😪😪

  • theedthemed Ed Webb (@theedthemed) reported from Chesham Bois, England

@virginmedia Many comments on requesting compensation. You have directed customers to your compensation policy. But this only mentions phone, broadband, service installation or missed appointments. Nothing about loss of TV services. So what about TV service compensation ?

  • bodhititus2019 Chris 53 (@bodhititus2019) reported from Aylesbury Vale, England

Oooh, now I finally got round to taking notice.... The videos I, m watching via twitter are playing much better with Lebara mobile then they did tesco, moble..Actually they are playing better then they do on home broadband service Virgin media to.. The landlord pays that bill

  • Tim_Gee_DOP Tim Gee (@Tim_Gee_DOP) reported from Chesham Bois, England

@Charlie_A_Gee @virginmedia They don’t give a damn, they’re virtually a monopoly, Ditch them and go to sky.

  • seanhannam seanhannam (@seanhannam) reported from Chesham Bois, England

@virginmedia Why should we call up again for the ninth time? We’re a ‘priority customer.’ You should be calling us and making amends.I’m a consumer tech journalist with 25 years’ experience. Your customer service is the worst I’ve ever encountered. You simply don’t care about your customers.

  • gemmak500 ᒍᗩᑎE (@gemmak500) reported from Chesham Bois, England

@virginmedia To be honest you probably can’t, I’ve been this route often previously and nothing changes. Made to jump thru the same basic hoops time & again by staff members who don’t understand the systems, it’s a perpetual, frustrating loop. Still my service is dreadful.

  • seanhannam seanhannam (@seanhannam) reported from Chesham Bois, England

@virginmedia Is this how you treat your ‘priority customers?’ During a cost of living crisis, we have chosen to stay with you, yet you can’t pull your finger out to look after your customers. I work from home but can’t fully use the service I’m paying for due to your incompetence.

  • gemmak500 ᒍᗩᑎE (@gemmak500) reported from Chesham Bois, England

When you’re trying to upload and synch 20gb of wedding photos via a 4g hotspot because your @virginmedia broadband has been down for days on end with useless customer service and you have a deadline. It’s never ending! 😩 #virginmedia #custometservicefail #fail

  • seanhannam seanhannam (@seanhannam) reported from Chesham Bois, England

@virginmedia We’ve spoken to eight people to try and resolve our internet issues. We’ve ordered new boosters because the new service isn’t compatible with the old ones. We’re a ‘priority customer’ - the new boosters still haven’t arrived…So frustrating. Your service is appalling.

  • smahes4 Sid M (@smahes4) reported from Chesham Bois, England

@virginmedia The reason given to us that you don’t want to put extra 10mtr cable to service 3 properties. That’s a shame on you and a classic lie that you say on your advert regarding coverage @richardbranson @Ofcom

  • sjdhatters I Make Stuff Up On Tw*tter (@sjdhatters) reported from Stoke Mandeville, England

@virginmedia I refer back to my original tweet. Zero attempt to resolve my issue. Just can't do it. Your solution is not acceptable to me or new owner. Can you please provide details on how to escalate this to a complaint? What if I cancel DD and then set up new DD with new owner details?

  • sjdhatters I Make Stuff Up On Tw*tter (@sjdhatters) reported from Stoke Mandeville, England

Dear @virginmedia Congratulations for the worst possible Customer Service going. Been hung up on twice. You don't deserve to be in business

  • gemmak500 ᒍᗩᑎE (@gemmak500) reported from Chesham Bois, England

@virginmedia Yes there were, we received a text at 2am to say it was (finally) fixed but it isn’t & we are now expected to go through the entire reporting/testing the router process again. No engineer for days. This is NOT a router issue, it’s affecting many homes. #bangsheadonwall

  • gemmak500 ᒍᗩᑎE (@gemmak500) reported from Chesham Bois, England

@virginmedia There is no link. No one appears to know what’s going on and there is no ownership or continuity of help. As the paying customer we are supposed to just wait, lose business and accept the situation.

  • sjdhatters I Make Stuff Up On Tw*tter (@sjdhatters) reported from Stoke Mandeville, England

@virginmedia Company has been wound up so there won't be any concerns about liability. This wouldn't be an issue if account had been set up properly in the first place Tried to do it properly and will screenshot the chat for future legal recourse

  • gemmak500 ᒍᗩᑎE (@gemmak500) reported from Chesham Bois, England

@virginmedia Yes, it’s showing issues but we are still being treated like this is a new issue with no history. 😩

  • gemmak500 ᒍᗩᑎE (@gemmak500) reported from Chesham Bois, England

@virginmedia I don’t doubt it will be fixed eventually but there have been significant issues here for months & I need more info than this. The message on your link hasn’t been updated since PRIOR to being told it was fixed. When reported this morning it was treated with no history.

  • sjdhatters I Make Stuff Up On Tw*tter (@sjdhatters) reported from Stoke Mandeville, England

@virginmedia That's ridiculous. It's a business. Internet is critical. Thats not an acceptable solution

  • BangTheDrum101 Bang the Drum 101 (@BangTheDrum101) reported

Considering @skytv? As a long standing customer, they are proposing to increase my bill by 54%... Customer services not empowered to do anything but only threaten early termination fees if I wanted to leave. Do we think this is ethical? I certainly don't! @virginmedia @bt_uk

  • Rayzor74 Ray Morgan. NHS💙🇺🇦 (@Rayzor74) reported from Stockport, England

Good start to the day with @virginmedia informing me my monthly bill is increasing by £15/month and I have until the 17th of April to decide on my options. That is £180 annually. Having been firstly a Nynex customer and a Virgin customer since the takeover think it may be time

  • jane_mclenachan Jane McLenachan (@jane_mclenachan) reported

Bad enough when @virginmedia is so poor their own service status check isn't even working 🤷

  • axlebrook Alex Brook (@axlebrook) reported

Called @virginmedia to complain about the price increase in May, they reduced it but then I received an email to tell me they have added something called homeworks, which I’ve just found out is a chargeable service! I never agreed to this! Seems to be a scam? @BBCWatchdog
