  • lastminutepete
Peter McLoughlin (@lastminutepete) reported from Hillingdon, England

@virginmedia I did all that yesterday. On the laptop that recorded a speed of 1.28mbps, when I put the Ethernet cable in, it was 254.99mbps. On the Apple TV, it went from 1.06 to 651. It’s not just these devices, these are the worst examples

  • raymacuxbridge
Raymacuxbridge (@raymacuxbridge) reported from Chalfont Saint Peter, England

@virginmedia just moved house and the internet services are terrible. No update from your team on how long the outage is going to be? Any update in the Chalfont area?

  • NeverGiveIn123
Lou (@NeverGiveIn123) reported from Hillingdon, England

@SkyHelpTeam Sorry but who thought that this was practical??? I watch an episode then delete, what you are suggesting is way too much effort when the option was at the side. Log this as a formal complaint pls. SkyQ is so outdated compared to Virgin Media, roll my deal expiry! #sky

  • gemmak500
ᒍᗩᑎE (@gemmak500) reported from Chesham Bois, England

@virginmedia To be honest you probably can’t, I’ve been this route often previously and nothing changes. Made to jump thru the same basic hoops time & again by staff members who don’t understand the systems, it’s a perpetual, frustrating loop. Still my service is dreadful.

  • arintsie
A Rintsie (@arintsie) reported from Marlow Bottom, England

@virginmedia Phone call received this afternoon from your service centre but not about the complaint / when I asked about it they cut me off / email received from Resolution Team this afternoon telling me to ring your service line and have not read the complaint / total joke C-180123113

  • seanhannam
seanhannam (@seanhannam) reported from Chesham Bois, England

Didn’t realised upgrading our @virginmedia internet would cripple my home office. Wireless @HP printer can’t find the network and I have to get new boosters for the other rooms in the house. So frustrating - I’ve wasted so much time trying to sort it all out. To no avail.

  • CazDigital1
Caz Digital (@CazDigital1) reported from Hemel Hempstead, England

@virginmedia hey. Board and doesn’t seem to be working at the moment. I’ve tried restarting twice and called to have a check on my equipment. That seems to be fine. When I restart it works for about 30 minutes and then goes down again. Thanks

  • sarahleveridge
Sarah Leveridge (@sarahleveridge) reported from Rickmansworth, England

  • squeakz73
Squeakz (@squeakz73) reported from Hillingdon, England

@virginmedia So my Dad asked the bank to stop you and now you're trying to charge him another £58 to restore your service! Just give us our number back and money! Lets be done with already!!

  • smahes4
Sid M (@smahes4) reported from Chesham Bois, England

@virginmedia The reason given to us that you don’t want to put extra 10mtr cable to service 3 properties. That’s a shame on you and a classic lie that you say on your advert regarding coverage @richardbranson @Ofcom

  • CazDigital1
Caz Digital (@CazDigital1) reported from Hemel Hempstead, England

@virginmedia I’ve already done that. It says no known issues.

  • lastminutepete
Peter McLoughlin (@lastminutepete) reported from Hillingdon, England

@virginmedia Yes I’ve done all that and it said the signal was weak. Pressed the button to optimise the WiFi or router or whatever it is and that didn’t work. Is it not the job of the router to emit a strong WiFi signal? All the devices trying to connect are modern and up to date.

  • seanhannam
seanhannam (@seanhannam) reported from Chesham Bois, England

@MikeCoxCowes @virginmedia @HP What hope is there for the smart home when even a wireless printer needs reconfiguring after a simple wi-fi network change?

  • craigr98_2016
Craig R 🇹🇩🌹 (@craigr98_2016) reported from Hillingdon, England

@virginmedia I made a formal complaint against your company and was told 28 days I’d get a response - it’s been longer than that, what can we do to get my complaint moving?

  • PaulswainDJ
Paul Swain (@PaulswainDJ) reported from Kings Langley, England

@virginmedia An ongoing account issue. All I’m trying to do is sort it out. Your staff accepted my call today and then hung up after 17 minutes of hold time.

  • Trickyred59

  • VirginMediaNews
    Virgin Media News (@VirginMediaNews) reported

Prince Harry, Elton John and five others have been ordered to pay an initial £9.5 million to the publisher of Britain’s Daily Mail following their failed privacy case. The judge found there was insufficient evidence to support the claims and said there was a possibility the reporting came from legitimate sources. The £9.5 million payment must be made by August 28. Glenn Matthew (@gmkfyi) reported

@virginmedia @O2 I can only assume the reason I’m getting an IDF-12B error is because I’m now using a Sky connection rather than a Virgin one. Same computer, no VPN… Trying to get into my O2 account btw… which support line do I contact?

  • shelf_life64
Andy Anderson 🇬🇧 Defund the BBC! ♋️ (@shelf_life64) reported

@virginmedia @TheAFC0522 Two weeks to fix this is wholly unacceptable…. I’m starting to suspect you’re having another spat with Sky or your engineers are all on holiday!! As you are well aware casting is not available from the Sky Sports app… A bill credit to all affected would be welcome for this!

  • alibee2006
Alison Baddley (Ali) 🇬🇧 (@alibee2006) reported

@TVKev Omg that's all we need. It's bad enough talking to a bot when you phone companies like Virgin Media. Sorry I didn't get that. My response whilst going nuts. Human please NOW! How the hell are the elderly and vulnerable supposed to cope with this?! Human receptionists NOT AI.

  • Yvie777
    Yvie777 (@Yvie777) reported

@virginmedia I am still waiting for my refund, despite multiple phone calls where you assured me it would be processed. I have yet to receive it. This experience confirms my decision to leave due to your poor customer service and unresolved issues.
