Tim Jackson (@TimmyJ1972) reported from Garston, England@virginmedia I’d love to hear from how I’m supposed to report an issue with my broadband. You can’t do it via live chat and seemingly not via the phone either as you’re “experiencing difficulties”
-
Martin Travis (@lurkinhead) reported from Birkenhead, England@virginmedia Okay, but with respect, the problem is your call centre say different stuff every time, which inevitably bears no resemblance to reality. Later, VM deny those conversations ever took place and there is no written evidence to back up what was agreed. That's what I am after here?
-
DRood 🏳️🌈🎗 (@DoctorRood) reported from Chester, England@virginmedia I never expected any engineer, because I'm aware it's an outage that affects a lot of people. But your CS responses could be a lot better.
-
MisterDaz (@MisterDaz) reported from Ellesmere Port, England@virginmedia @sportingredLFC Loads of people are having this issue. Stop passing it onto the customer to resolve. I expect a refund for this.

Lyndsey Moss (@lyndseym123) reported from Halewood, England@virginmedia Internet issues all morning. Service status checker says no issues in the area & the automated number said to keep an eye on it for 24 hours after finding an intermittent issue. This is unacceptable. We pay a lot for your service and need the Internet for work
-
Hannah McKay (@MadRabbitLady75) reported from Birkenhead, England@virginmedia They answered, established they couldn't sell me a new product then told me to phone back in the day my contract ends and immediately hung up.. If it was clearly stated online in your info "don't phone us to cancel until your contract ends" I'd have saved 35 minutes of my day..

Jason Shaw (@RockyPallyEVO) reported from Chester, England@virginmedia Just so you know, I’m still waiting. You don’t appear to take potential ID fraud very seriously at all. Terrible service from @virginmedia I’m not a customer, but after this I’m unlikely to ever be. #IDfraud
-
Steve Eades (@steveeades) reported from Runcorn, England@virginmedia Previous appointment had to be cancelled due to work commitments. Unsure what they would have done at the property anyway when it looks like an issue with the service to my property and others. Can’t you check Wa74rf postcode service supply?

Mr Moanivator (@MrMoanivator) reported@virginmedia My broadband hasn't been working since around 11am today. All week, Virgin has said that work was due to be completed in my area around 11:15am today. It's now saying that the hub is the problem. I've restarted and reset it, but it's still not working 🤬
-
Kris (@KrisTaylor1992) reported@ryantegan @skytv Cancel, then sign up in your partners name as a new customer. I do this with Virgin Media. I went from £58 to £28 and kept me as a customer. Best case retentions will offer you a better deal, worst case your partner gets new customer discounts.
-
Tracy Clarkin (@tracyhunter66) reported@virginmedia I have had no internet or phone service since 10pm on Wednesday , it's now Friday and still no service
-
Ally (@allypetrie81) reported@virginmedia must be the most incompetent and negligent company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Account hacked and a fraudulent email now linked to my account for a month now. Zero help offered and no interest in removing the email. Anyone else had this?
-
Andrea Cook 🧷 💙 (@F3Lollipops) reported@virginmedia we've had CS2004 on all channels since yesterday. I spent a long time in a live chat last night & was assured it would be fixed by 11pm last night but it's not. This is unacceptable. At what point do you compensate for not providing the service for which you're paid?
-
Alan Owen (@AlanOwen1947) reported@JFab208 @virginmedia 502 and 503 plus a couple of movie channels are pixalating all the time and unwatchable, says trying to fix!! and that was weeks ago, paying £105 a month for crap service

Alison Baddley (Ali) 🇬🇧 (@alibee2006) reported@TVKev Omg that's all we need. It's bad enough talking to a bot when you phone companies like Virgin Media. Sorry I didn't get that. My response whilst going nuts. Human please NOW! How the hell are the elderly and vulnerable supposed to cope with this?! Human receptionists NOT AI.

Gary Adams (@GazzaAdams) reported@virginmedia I need this escalated as a formal complaint regarding fault **F012421201**, because the information Virgin Media is providing has now become demonstrably contradictory. At **08:01 today, 20 August**, Virgin Media told me: “Our engineer is on site and they're working to fix the problem.” The estimated repair time given was **18:00 today**. At **15:27 today**, after I have had intermittent service for most of the day and had to hotspot from my phone to be able to work, Virgin Media has now told me: “We have identified the problem and an engineer is on their way.” The estimated repair time has also been moved to **14:10 tomorrow, 21 August**. These statements cannot both accurately describe the progress of the same fault. An engineer who was already **on site and working on the problem at 08:01** cannot subsequently be **“on their way” at 15:27** without some explanation. I fully understand that a complex network fault may take longer to repair than initially anticipated, and that estimated restoration times can change. That is not my complaint. My complaint is that Virgin Media is repeatedly providing contradictory factual information about the status of the repair, while I remain without the service I am paying for. I consequently have no confidence in the estimated restoration times being provided. Please therefore: 1. **Log this as a formal complaint and provide me with the complaint reference.** 2. Confirm the actual current status of fault **F012421201**, rather than repeating the automated status information. 3. Explain how an engineer could be reported as on site and working at 08:01 but “on their way” at 15:27. 4. Confirm when the outage affecting my service officially began and that the full period of loss of service has been recorded against my account. 5. Confirm what automatic compensation I will be entitled to for the complete loss of service, where applicable. I have retained screenshots of the outage updates and their timestamps. Please respond to the specific points above rather than sending me another automated repair estimate.
