@virginmedia Can't. Your Internet has not worked since Saturday. Tech support not answering #terribleservice

  • kevinspicer72 Kevin Spicer (@kevinspicer72) reported from Bedford, England

Just been DM'd by @OpenreachHelp to ask if there is anything ELSE they can help me with TODAY. After NOT being any help at all on FRIDAY. I think it's a parody account. Also @SkyUK didn't call as promised. God I wish we had @virginmedia round here.

  • gsolomonphoto Garry Solomon Photography (@gsolomonphoto) reported from Rushden, England

@virginmedia chat service is down, no one to answer technical calls, a website that sends you round and round in circles! Is it at all possible that someone is still working who can solve my broadband issues before I cancel my direct debit?

  • gsolomonphoto Garry Solomon Photography (@gsolomonphoto) reported from Rushden, England

@virginmedia My broadband fluctuates, but even when I’m getting above 200mbps WiFi , my Ethernet to the back of the house is 5-10mbps. I’ve done all your tests, but read lots of comments that this is due to the virgin hub. Can you find a solution so I can work from home please!

  • mrsloucampbell Lou Campbell❤️⚽️ (@mrsloucampbell) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia That is a joke - as I want to take @virginmedia with me - so are you saying I should be choosing a house based on virgin media’s’ service ??? it’s not my fault you don’t service the area.... why am I being penalised ? You are breaking the contract by not providing the service.

  • nosylocaljourno Hilary Scott (@nosylocaljourno) reported from Northamptonshire, England

So unbelievably fed up of @virginmedia broadband that constantly drops out. I pay almost £100 a month for packages that are just useless if the connection goes down. Can't work from home or teach remotely under these conditions.

  • leemcrae76 Lee McRae (@leemcrae76) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia Internet down again in NN5. There is no issue with the equipment or set up. What is the issue locally? Goes down about 8-10 times for 30 mins or so every day. Please can you respond ASAP.

  • RichardPFisher Richard Fisher (@RichardPFisher) reported from Wilby, England

Yay! @vmbusiness has **** the bed once again, third time in a week. Going to have to put a smart switch on it so I can remote reset the router.

  • jamesdgreen02 jamesdgreen (@jamesdgreen02) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia great service from your sales team over the phone as your website crashed when ordering. But needed to talk to CS to get them to cancel the order that was partially done before website crashed. But accordingly CS they can’t see it. Ant it would take them 7 days 1/2

  • Gturv GTT* (@Gturv) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia No fault that describes my issue. Tried fault page but led to a dead link.

  • EppsRacer Mike Epps 🇬🇧🇳🇿 (@EppsRacer) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia Rather than an apology, how about a warning text or email stating when my broadband will be down or interrupted? So I can plan ahead, not waste mine and others time and money, and feel like I’m a customer and not a complete idiot for paying for this? I’m finally back online.

  • markaugustus99 Mark Augustus (@markaugustus99) reported from Wollaston, England

@virginmedia Hi John the broad band issue is still there, could not get through on last night. The internet drops out for no reason and I have to power off my router . Did this more than 5 times yesterday. I have factory reset router and still the same issue.

  • mrsloucampbell Lou Campbell❤️⚽️ (@mrsloucampbell) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia You’re call centre is not helpful. I’ve spent 2.5 weeks trying to contact you. I am not cancelling the contract - you are- it’s not my fault you don’t provide my new house but you expect me ti@oay £300+ To cancel a contract that I want to keep- you r cancelling. Not me.

  • EppsRacer Mike Epps 🇬🇧🇳🇿 (@EppsRacer) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia On your website the only way to verify if those details are correct is by “contacting our Customer Care team”, which is hours of waiting and often only to get cut off before I talk to someone. You guys are literally unbelievable.

  • Gturv GTT* (@Gturv) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia Do you have issues in MK42 area? My internet down, 2nd time in 3 days. Your service status says everything is good, I don't believe that for a minute.

  • JakeReynolds93 Jake (@JakeReynolds93) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia Only had to wait 2 hours to finally get through to someone who was able to deal with my issue. Stuart Toms, one of your managers was very helpful & got the various issues resolved...

  • alanwildthing99 Alan Wildman (@alanwildthing99) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia @btsport why can’t I see the red button sports on the Virgin App?? Why can’t I login to the BT sport?? Missing the rugby!!

  • alanwildthing99 Alan Wildman (@alanwildthing99) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia hi just making sure your tech department would never phone up and not ask for the Bill payer first?? Or you don’t have a 01253 code call place?? Mother in law had 5 calls Saturday!!

  • craigwest Craig West (@craigwest) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@ruskin147 @PippaCrerar @virginmedia Virgin Media outage sounds like an issue with the broadband connection between Virgin and your home. The WiFi coverage within your home should be a quite separate issue? My Plusnet router didn’t give great WiFi coverage so I added TP-Link Deco mesh WiFi and have no issues now.

  • mrsloucampbell Lou Campbell❤️⚽️ (@mrsloucampbell) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia Could you please highlight exactly what clause you want me to read ? I am a disabled mother of 3 with her daughter needing internet for gcse - which You can’t provide- she needs internet to study. I am NOT cancelling contract - you are - by not providing service that I pay for

  • Jackielindak Jackie 🤍 (@Jackielindak) reported from Doncaster, England

@virginmedia Well I’m trying to cancel but no one is answering so I can’t. Unfortunately i can get better deal elsewhere so will be leaving

  • GriffithsAmy AmyLouise (@GriffithsAmy) reported

@virginmedia But I'm sure you can explain why I was mis-sold a package which was never going to be honoured?

  • DavidMcClelland David McClelland (@DavidMcClelland) reported

@Mike__Polak @BBCOne Virgin Media also has to migrate its customers from PSTN to digital voice (ie VoIP); in the event of a power cut the Virgin customer’s router would lose power, so yes, in same boat. Virgin does also have provision for battery backed-up emergency calls via cellular network.

  • MikeParrActor Michael Parr (@MikeParrActor) reported

@virginmedia Hi, I'm finding your website to be very difficult. I'm still being billed for an account I closed three months ago. is there anyone here who can help?

  • TomGreenhalgh95 Tom Greenhalgh (@TomGreenhalgh95) reported

@virginmedia Thanks but this still doesn’t work and we can’t register the loss of service (have tried on multiple devices)

  • dbcox7 Dominic Cox (@dbcox7) reported

@virginmedia I expected sound knowledge from you. I didn't expect to have to scour a forum searching for help from users. I thought you'd be the tech experts. Your 'solution' was no better than "Did you try switching it off and then back on again". It just took more time...

  • jim_revelator James Frid (@jim_revelator) reported

@virginmedia how do you get through to speak to someone? My contract is ending and it’s gone up to a ridiculous amount per month, no one picks up the phone at customer services! I will just cancel the direct debit someone will contact me then.

  • RDGuitarTuition Robert Dickenson (@RDGuitarTuition) reported

@virginmedia is there a contact number for advice and/or complaints please? ATM, as a longtime customer, I am not impressed.

  • DanielG57062781 Daniel Graham (@DanielG57062781) reported

@virginmedia I have no faith you will - 12 months been paying premium for poor internet - now 3rd day in attempting to cancel my contract via whatsapp but your staff offer me a new package and then disconnect even tho i explicitly ask for the ending of my contract. Not even half of the story.

  • Paratez Paratez (@Paratez) reported

@virginmedia Started the WhatsApp channel and guess what, no one responds. Perhaps you should warn customers that it takes hours, days possibly weeks to cancel their contract.. #broadband #dreadfulservice #virgin
