Kevin Spicer (@kevinspicer72) reported from Bedford, EnglandJust been DM'd by @OpenreachHelp to ask if there is anything ELSE they can help me with TODAY. After NOT being any help at all on FRIDAY. It’s very easy to add or upgrade services but god help you if you want to remove any services or leave. I was on hold for over two hours last night only to be cut off. I’ve been connected to live chat since 17:43 0901
-
Craig West (@craigwest) reported from Northamptonshire, England@ruskin147 @PippaCrerar @virginmedia Virgin Media outage sounds like an issue with the broadband connection between Virgin and your home. The WiFi coverage within your home should be a quite separate issue? My Plusnet router didn’t give great WiFi coverage so I added TP-Link Deco mesh WiFi and have no issues now.
-
russ sanders (@russsanders2) reported from Northamptonshire, England@virginmedia Can't. Your Internet has not worked since Saturday. Tech support not answering #terribleservice

Julia Smith🍉🍉🍉 #CeasefireNOW (@wingcramp) reported@PeteUK7 @virginmedia I recently had British Gas apologise for not carrying out my mother's boiler service. She died in 2020.
-
Free I.T. Stafford (@freeITstafford) reported@JamieGBarry @virginmedia I tried that trick, and they told me my address will be stored and I'll always be classed as "existing" even if I moved provider then came back, so I would never be eligible for a "new customer" deal. The only way to be a "new customer" is to move house and recontract.
-
Mark vix (@Vikk3rs146) reported@virginmedia Thanks to the shabby way you’ve treated us once again ..that’s it for us now 30+ years a customer but no more ..just signed up to Sky ..had enough of your shite service and inept customer service..oh and £45 a month cheaper
-
Deborah Guina (@DeborahGuina1) reported@alisterrussell @PeteUK7 @virginmedia My sis in law was in ICU on a ventilator, I had just brought my brother back from another hospital after an MI. A debt collector for a utility Co knocked at his door. Atm the hospital rang to say we had to go down ( SIL later died) the debt guy said not to worry & offered a lift!
-
Heppo (@neilheppen) reported@virginmedia @GeoffJonners Why should that matter. An existing customers should be offered the same renewal deal whether online or by speaking to an agent. But of course that's not the case - and even the online renewal offer goes up or down every couple of days. Time the regulators got to grips with it.
-
Jane (@janethebuell) reported@PeteUK7 @virginmedia Same problem with @skytv. Told them mum had died & wanted account closed. They said "we cannot close the account, we need to talk to the account holder". I repeated she died. I gave up, sent the equipment back & ignored the flurry of demanding emails. Very distressing.
