-
Craig West (@craigwest) reported from Northamptonshire, England
@ruskin147 @PippaCrerar @virginmedia Virgin Media outage sounds like an issue with the broadband connection between Virgin and your home. The WiFi coverage within your home should be a quite separate issue? My Plusnet router didn’t give great WiFi coverage so I added TP-Link Deco mesh WiFi and have no issues now.
-
Mike Epps 🇬🇧🇳🇿 (@EppsRacer) reported from Northamptonshire, England
@virginmedia Rather than an apology, how about a warning text or email stating when my broadband will be down or interrupted? So I can plan ahead, not waste mine and others time and money, and feel like I’m a customer and not a complete idiot for paying for this? I’m finally back online.
-
Garry Solomon Photography (@gsolomonphoto) reported from Rushden, England
@virginmedia My broadband fluctuates, but even when I’m getting above 200mbps WiFi , my Ethernet to the back of the house is 5-10mbps. I’ve done all your tests, but read lots of comments that this is due to the virgin hub. Can you find a solution so I can work from home please!
-
Jake (@JakeReynolds93) reported from Northamptonshire, England
@virginmedia Only had to wait 2 hours to finally get through to someone who was able to deal with my issue. Stuart Toms, one of your managers was very helpful & got the various issues resolved...
-
Mark Augustus (@markaugustus99) reported from Burton Latimer, England
@virginmedia I have been having broadband issues for over a month. I have been on hold to the call centre for over 45 minutes now trying to get help. Is that normal waiting time?
-
Justine (@Just_Woodbridge) reported from Wellingborough, England
@virginmedia I keep losing our broadband signal, especially in the evenings 😔have tried resetting etc, but no good. Even have your boosters, but still no good. Help, please!
-
Mike Epps 🇬🇧🇳🇿 (@EppsRacer) reported from Northamptonshire, England
@virginmedia On your website the only way to verify if those details are correct is by “contacting our Customer Care team”, which is hours of waiting and often only to get cut off before I talk to someone. You guys are literally unbelievable.
-
Richard Fisher (@RichardPFisher) reported from Wilby, England
Yay! @vmbusiness has **** the bed once again, third time in a week. Going to have to put a smart switch on it so I can remote reset the router.
-
Garry Solomon Photography (@gsolomonphoto) reported from Rushden, England
@virginmedia chat service is down, no one to answer technical calls, a website that sends you round and round in circles! Is it at all possible that someone is still working who can solve my broadband issues before I cancel my direct debit?
-
Hilary Scott (@nosylocaljourno) reported from Northamptonshire, England
So unbelievably fed up of @virginmedia broadband that constantly drops out. I pay almost £100 a month for packages that are just useless if the connection goes down. Can't work from home or teach remotely under these conditions.
-
George 'guy with the coat' Massingham (@WhiteShadowCos) reported from Wellingborough, England

-
Silent Big Ben (@SilentBigBen) reported
@virginmedia @hcarter_history I have booked a technician for Friday. I can’t imagine broadband will be down anywhere near that long but reaching out to report individual faults helps area faults get flagged so I suggest everyone tries. 0845 454 1111.
-
Rosanna Cundall (@rosannacundall) reported
@virginmedia Also I was in the office yesterday on a wired connection which was fine, so I know it's just at home I have the issue

Terrence (@terr_ncethomas) reported
@ednewmy @virginmedia They’re awful we were on the phone for 5 hours trying to leave them. They finally gave up and we paid the last bill and cancelled services. Next thing we get a letter in the post for £48 and that our next bill is due even though we’re with someone else. They can *******!
-
Jen (@Crazy_Sauce) reported
@virginmedia No broadband here in LS18. Restarted router with no luck, service status website says no problems but can't do router checks.
-
Kel Curwood (@KelCurwood34) reported
@virginmedia But it’s unfair that you never give any free gifts for loyal customers. If I was to leave and rejoin then I’d get the free gift? How does that work?
-
Ed 🏳️🌈 (@ednewmy) reported
@virginmedia So if you're looking to do more for me as a customer how about offering me the same price going forward rather than doubling my bill during a cost of living crisis.
-
jacquielord (@jacquielord2) reported
@virginmedia Our TV box has been down for a week now, says it will be fine at 1200 on 12th but it@isnt!!!
