    @virginmedia It was a call and it wasn’t easy to hear what they were saying. Something about having detected that my internet was slow when doing online banking. It sounded very much like the “We are from BT open reach” scam so I said I would call them back.

    @virginmedia You don't need it back (I was told), but it obviously needs to be recycledand I don't have a car to take it to the tip. So someone on your customer service desk said they would send packaging/instructions so that I could return it to you to be recycled. But they didn't.
