Thank you @virginmedia? The outage fix will carry on for an additional 12 hours. You really know how to provide a great service, don't you? Well, not for me you don't. You've properly messed up my ability to have my work published tomorrow, thus, loss of business. #unimpressed

  • indiointernet Brian Roe (@indiointernet) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@virginmedia getting somewhat irked at the constant failure in the delivery of your services. And please don't apologise, it won't fix the broadband issue. You are now costing me money. This is not ideal. It's time for me to find a company that can deliver reliable broadband.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • jayniecakes Jayne (@jayniecakes) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia Well I've just had a "sort of" resolution but still not really acceptable. I gave 30 days notice to cancel my services as want to get Sky. Sky and Openreach are coming tomorrow to fit phoneline & services. I have booked a day off work for this. If there is still (cont) >>

  • DrPyser Andrew (@DrPyser) reported

@virginmedia I know how it works, I’ve been using it with EE for years. The problem is it doesn’t work properly with virgin mobile, that’s a fact. It doesn’t work properly at home, work or another location I frequent. Don’t gaslight me.

  • ShaneCarlsson Shane Carlsson (@ShaneCarlsson) reported

@virginmedia About my virgin SIM card that is going to be cut off which shouldn’t be. Over 2 days and 6 phone calls , can’t understand them or they can’t understand me. Finally get to talk to someone who is competent and was solving the problem , I get cut off. Way to stressful

  • kevinjohnnolan Kevin Nolan 💙🌈 (@kevinjohnnolan) reported

@virginmedia No timescale at all - useless customer service

  • Dunne_1974 Dave (@Dunne_1974) reported

@virginmedia appointment for engineer to call this morning to fix issue.. 8am-12..no-show...called to complain and left for work.. Get a text 16:14 to say an engineer will be here before 17:18...still waiting... Joke of a service...

  • ellie_twelftree Ellie Twelftree (@ellie_twelftree) reported

@virginmedia It was a line manager I ended up speaking to. Again, was told I could pay a subscription service to have the issue fixed or wait almost a week. My neighbours have the same problem so it must be an area wide fault despite what the customer service team say…

  • kevinjohnnolan Kevin Nolan 💙🌈 (@kevinjohnnolan) reported

@virginmedia Your online service status says there is a problem with broadband but does not say for how long - my neighbours in the area also experiencing the problem on a day you send me a bill for a new hub £35 which is disgusting

  • GaryMcC Gary McC (@GaryMcC) reported

@virginmedia if you are moving me off the phone line and using the fibre network instead, why are you not removing my line rental charge?

  • richard0927 Richard Lane (@richard0927) reported

@virginmedia The only thing that did happen was the port of the number to BT. A complaint was made in January and a ticket opened. There was no contact from Virgin until an email was received yesterday which indicated the service had been terminated on 18/02/22.

  • SimonLandmine Simon Dancefloorlandmine (@SimonLandmine) reported

@virginmedia And their reply to this raised a second query ... 2. The reply suggested that the app is used to confirm the hub3 internet settings. Is this essential, or can it be configured via wifi/ethernet on the network, as with the older routers? Thanks! /3
