@virginmedia But why do we have to keep looking for information. Is there no way of updating the customer directly, it is appalling customer communication. What is the problem? Why just keep putting estimates? If it isn't going to be fixed for 48 hours tell us.

Hi @virginmedia any news on why our broadband and TV haven't worked since 7pm yesterday in Burgess Hill? No comms and status update just says you are aware with an expected fix moving on in time...

I've been waiting 2+ hours for a response over WhatsApp from @virginmedia 3 hours since first trying to reach them with Broadband down. Can't work, starting to think they just don't employ any staff. Second time I've had negligent service from them. Looking elsewhere asap.

  • Luciddestiny
Warren Ryan Philips (@Luciddestiny) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England

@brooktop68 @virginmedia @bridgetmck We’ve turned the Superhub to Modem Mode and picked up separate WiFi routers. Resolved most of our issues immediately and we rarely get drop outs. Invest in a decent router or Mesh, you won’t regret it.

  • palewis1
Phil (@palewis1) reported from Worthing, England

@virginmedia what a useless company after waiting a week from doing as was asked of you on reporting my fathers death I receive a letter telling me I done it wrong. I’m afraid I lost it on the phone today and when all is sorted we will be leaving you. Great bereavement service.

@RichardMorrow10 @virginmedia You’ll be lucky. I left them & changed Broadband company. They said I was due credit & would send a cheque (cheque 🥴). Still waiting. Bet it never arrives.

  • AndyP1982
    Andrew Parmenter (@AndyP1982) reported

@EE why can a new customer get a deal £10 a month cheaper than someone who has been a customer for nearly 5 years? Where is the customer loyalty? I’ve now signed up to @virginmedia #customerlost #customergained

  • ravipal1214
    Ravi Pal (@ravipal1214) reported

Your agent kept asking what resolution I wanted, then offered £5. Twice I was reminded how cheap my package is — that others pay £50-60, that pods cost £10-15 elsewhere, that I’m getting them free. I didn’t set the price. A discount on a service that doesn’t work is still service that doesn’t work. Then I was told no manager or grievance contact exists, and that I should cancel. @virginmedia — who owns this?

  • neil131161
    neil holden (@neil131161) reported

Anyone in your establishment care to answer & dare i wish you reply to my messages on webchat or Wassap?? Absolute shambles of a service 🤬 @virginmedia

  • 2cakesdakes
    twocakesdakes (@2cakesdakes) reported

@virginmedia Customer since you started. Trying to renew package and being told its £63 . Same package for new contracts is 30 ******* quid cheaper. That's £720 over a 2 year contract.

  • KalEl_WBS
    simon withers (@KalEl_WBS) reported

@virginmedia You never reply to messages! Why bother asking to send us a DM. Also what’s the confusion you mentioned?

  • paul_wingrove

@EDFofficiel Customer support at EDF UK shows a level of incompetence which is worse than Virgin Media, and God knows VM is utterly useless.

Why can't/wont either RTÉ or Virgin Media cover some of the Irish festivals with a live feed similar to Glastonbury? It's a damn shame.
