  • melon_h Helen Rimmer 💙 🔶️ (@melon_h) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia This is still appalling customer service. I have to register (I did this when things were down in Dec for almost 72 hours), I have to alert etc you are the service provider. How is it good CS that we assume you are lying in estimates? No compensation for Dec either.

  • mejones2121 Michael Jones (@mejones2121) reported from Woodingdean, England

@virginmedia no internet or phone line yet again. The worst service from a provider I've ever had. #internet #internetshutdown

  • mejones2121 Michael Jones (@mejones2121) reported from Woodingdean, England

@virginmedia Absolute rubbish. I pay a premium for super fast broadband and it buffers during Streaming plus I've had no internet or phone line all day YET AGAIN. #internet #broadband #poor service

  • MrBrianRoe Brian Roe (@MrBrianRoe) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@virginmedia your DNS TTL (a web server change time to live) is probably the worst on earth. My new website works everywhere in the world other than on #virginmedia broadband. You absolutely suck, big time. Crock of shite.

  • mrgarrett100 Lee Garrett (@mrgarrett100) reported from Worthing, England

@virginmedia you guys are truly the worst... move the service to you with 6 weeks notice and you don't have it ready - suggesting we wait 16 days until you're ready with no service as we've cut the other provider?????

  • GrassHoppus Ellie Cole 🐆 (@GrassHoppus) reported from Hove, England

@virginmedia how can you charge a disconnection fee for a service I never renewed and disconnected the day my contract ended? Absolutely ridiculous and I'm still being charged for the contract I never renewed!

  • MrBrianRoe Brian Roe (@MrBrianRoe) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@virginmedia You maybe there, but you'll drop the call...again, and again, and then once more for luck. Bloody awful expireince trying to phone you. Not something I'm willing to repeat.

  • churchlard Churchlard (@churchlard) reported from Sompting, England

@virginmedia @52marathonman They are useless, had an installation due on Wednesday of this week, they emailed me Wednesday morning to say they couldn’t instal as they had been unable to gain access on Monday. Never did they mention needing access on Monday, and I was home all day and no one rang bell!!

  • melon_h Helen Rimmer 💙 🔶️ (@melon_h) reported from Burgess Hill, England

Hi @virginmedia any news on why our broadband and TV haven't worked since 7pm yesterday in Burgess Hill? No comms and status update just says you are aware with an expected fix moving on in time...

  • richardscovell 🏳️‍🌈 #SociallyDistancingRick 🏳️‍🌈 (@richardscovell) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

3/4 T&Cs: Moving home outside of or within the Virgin Media Network service area “If you move within our service area, we cannot guarantee to provide you services, if we are unable to provide services, then you can cancel and you will not need to pay an early disconnection fee”

  • gismotigga Gis (sarah)🇬🇧🏳️‍🌈🇪🇺🤘 (@gismotigga) reported from Hove, England

@TonyMaudsley1 @virginmedia Because they are crap

  • MrBrianRoe Brian Roe (@MrBrianRoe) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@virginmedia No, not at the moment! Guess what? Yep, your broadband is down in my area in #brighton. Well done, sterling service. You must be really proud. I have artwork to upload to my website and can't. And all you are going to do is say "sorry". That really won't help, it'll irritate.

  • katb217 Kat Blakeborough (@katb217) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England

@virginmedia help received a text to say my order is coming on Thursday but haven’t ordered anything? Any idea how I can find out what’s coming?

  • churchlard Churchlard (@churchlard) reported from Sompting, England

@virginmedia @52marathonman Now have to wait until 19th July, absolute rubbish, apparently they had no contact details for me, yet had sent me 17 emails and a similar number of texts! Appalling service, so much for being new business!

  • gismotigga Gis (sarah)🇬🇧🏳️‍🌈🇪🇺🤘 (@gismotigga) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@ElliePeace01 @virginmedia I went via complaints department bin the end via email complete paper trail they couldn't get out of it then, virgin media are notoriously bad customer service.

  • barbados10 chris rose (@barbados10) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England

@virginmedia very quick to take £130 per month for services but very slow to fix it when things go wrong let’s check for Sky! #customerservice #unhappycustomer #bringbackRichardBranson

  • richardscovell 🏳️‍🌈 #SociallyDistancingRick 🏳️‍🌈 (@richardscovell) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

1/4 Customer scam alert: When moving and contacting @virginmedia to transfer your services to your new property, if they cannot provide services there they will apply an early disconnection charge which they will state is in accordance with their Legal Stuff, do not accept this.

  • melon_h Helen Rimmer 💙 🔶️ (@melon_h) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia But why do we have to keep looking for information. Is there no way of updating the customer directly, it is appalling customer communication. What is the problem? Why just keep putting estimates? If it isn't going to be fixed for 48 hours tell us.

  • DKarunda David (@DKarunda) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@southwarker @SkyHelpTeam I think this is a major issue. Experiencing same issues with Virgin Media at the moment

  • melon_h Helen Rimmer 💙 🔶️ (@melon_h) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia Yes it says there is a known fault which has been going on since Friday at 7pm. No further explanation and the estimate fix just keeps resetting. It is absolutely unacceptable.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • johnfass Dr John Fass (@johnfass) reported

@virginmedia no connection in OX14 that lasts longer than 15minutes, and this is fibre max! Wait times currently 45mins to talk to a human. Not a great service for £60/month.

  • LdnRunner A runner's tale (@LdnRunner) reported

@virginmedia Seriously... no engineers until 5/7, in this day and age that’s just not acceptable. Shoddy customer service!

  • cybarev cybarev (@cybarev) reported

The @virginmedia saga continues. Despite them sending me their text number to cancel my contract the bot just tells me to phone them or check online. Both of which I've done, both of which will not let me leave. Virgin you truly are appalling.

  • sidgolding Sid Golding (@sidgolding) reported

@virginmedia O god a robot?! Seriously….. might get more sense out of one to be fair…. What happened to a good old fashioned complaints handler?! The problem is all the complaints have been closed!! A robot is going to tell me the same dam thing.

  • Sdavidson27_2 Stacey davidson (@Sdavidson27_2) reported

@virginmedia absolutely disgusted in the customer service. Have spoken to 5 different people and been told so many lies. I have tried to raise a formal complaint and all I got was an email to say the incident has been resolved when no one contacted me. @richardbranson.
