  • davmcdngh David McDonagh (@davmcdngh) reported from Hove, England

@virginmedia I appreciate your response but I did get through to an agent and the response I got was quite frankly appalling. The only thing that link says is there is a problem with using the app. This is a problem that has now been going on for weeks

  • Furzeboy Mark Chambers (@Furzeboy) reported from Hove, England

  • Furzeboy Mark Chambers (@Furzeboy) reported from Hove, England

@virginmedia phoned you 3 weeks ago about a phone line on my hub, was told I’d get a call back within 72hrs and still waiting. Poor customer service.

@virginmedia @MoneyTelegraph Furious right now. 12 different failings by virgin media. Call centre refusal to escalate my complaint. Hung up on twice. No human compassion. Just keep quoting from their script. Completely unacceptable. #poorcustomerservice

  • YellyPorsche Sue J (@YellyPorsche) reported from Hove, England

@virginmedia Please give me an email or phone number to complain. I have just spent an hour on your chat line service trying to resolve a long term TV issue and the person just stopped replying and another person wanted me to give all the info again. Im livid! We need an engineer

  • mel_shad 💀☠Mel Shad ☠💀 (@mel_shad) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England

@virginmedia Called customer service line & the message says virgin is doing improvement works in my area. I accept that if its emergency works there is nothing that can be done. The reason I am cross is if you have scheduled improvement work to do, you should tell people about it before!

  • steveleppard stephen leppard (@steveleppard) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England

@virginmedia are doing improvements in the area so my tv and broadband are down all day. Nice to be told. Working from home and can’t do a thing now. Wasted day. #Complaint

  • mel_shad 💀☠Mel Shad ☠💀 (@mel_shad) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England

@tanyabyrne @virginmedia Exactly this. I completely accept that emergency work cannot be helped and has to be done as soon as required, but scheduled improvement work should be different. It's not okay to just cut people off without notice and then make out it's an outage.

  • AshJHow91 Ashley Howard (@AshJHow91) reported from Worthing, England

@virginmedia hurry up. No matter how many times you play the same song, over and over again. I Ashley will not hang up!

  • YellyPorsche Sue J (@YellyPorsche) reported from Hove, England

@virginmedia No I dont want to trouble shoot. That was done twice before today and once today. Tbat is my whole point. I will use tge complaint process.

  • GeirGulbrandsen 積ん読 (@GeirGulbrandsen) reported from Poplar, England

@virginmedia Just to let you know, as most evenings streaming video (even low-res) is really bad again. I know the product description is "up to...", but as you linked the other day you ha "minimum guaranteed bandwidth" that should be more than enough to watch a little bit of video. Very sad

  • andrew_kemp Andrew Kemp (@andrew_kemp) reported from Currie, Scotland

Finally some competition to @virginmedia ‘a shocking internet service in my area! @bt_uk are finally doing #FttP been a long time coming... 14 years of mediocre internet service soon coming to an end!
