-
Esjay (@essers) reported from Manchester, England@virginmedia @virginmedialife @VMSolutions_ I just want reconnecting, and I want someone to recognise that we should not have been disconnected, and treat this with some urgency. Or even acknowledge that it needs resolving, and that you have some concern for my situation and the stress it is causing.
-
Warrenesco Jacksonovakov (@izzwoz) reported from Ashton-under-Lyne, England@virginmedia Seems your business model is never answer when someone wants to leave. 8 hours on WhatsApp yesterday totally ignored by Retentions. Queuing on phone again 30min probably get cut again after 1 hour.
-
Dave/Давид 🇺🇦 (@twiddlemeister) reported from Cheadle Hulme, England@virginmedia Yes it’s an outage and not an issue with our modem, or else others wouldn’t be affected. I’m on your business line, and whilst I appreciate that might not be something you can look at directly, it’s clearly an issue that needs resolving for everybody.
-

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Alex Davies (@daviesa02) reported@virginmedia an engineer visited over the weekend to install my broadband, but the external work wasn’t finished. CS booked another engineer for today, but they don’t need them anymore because the roadworks are is being completed today. £25 to cancel myself, can this be sorted?
-
BirchillsBoy (@BirchillsBoy) reportedIt's later this month I can put my notice in with Virgin Media. £40 a month for just broadband is too much. Speed is fast and the service has been good, but I am now running a 5G router alongside from Three at £11 a month rising to £22 next year. Similar speeds. Financial decision.
-
Virgin Media News (@VirginMediaNews) reportedFirst-time drug possession may no longer mean prosecution. From today, adults caught with a small amount of drugs for personal use may instead be referred to the HSE for support. They must admit the drugs were for their own use and agree to take part in the scheme. More on Virgin Media PLAY.
-
GunnerF77ox🦊 (@ifoxy1977) reportedHello I've had no internet for a week now I had a engineer come out on Wednesday the 26 and he said I need a new wire as the one outside was cut by workmen and another engineer came out on Thursday and I've heard nothing since help please @virginmedia
-

Unainstein (@AstonVillaDoge) reportedSo done with @virginmedia, live chat is useless, offer you absolutely terrible deals 'Your renewal offer will be £15 a month more than you currently pay, despite above inflation cost increases every April and you will receive nothing extra in return. This is our biggest discount'
-
Marina Robb (@MarinaRobb) reported@MelJanie @virginmedia Tellingly, the engineer who eventually came out (I'd already cancelled the service) said they still had to fit the back up line as they'd been fined £28 million by the regulator. Appalling customer service though.
-
Jenny Do Nascimento (@jdonascimento) reportedI moved house on August 28th and Virgin Media has been unable to connect my internet service. It's terrible service; I've wasted hours talking to them with no results. @Virgin #England
-
GauBan_Penguin 🐧*Audio Description: Blue Tick* (@GauBan) reportedVirgin Media/O2 service event to **** when they started using the same type of call centres that Scammer PayBack would have interest in.
-
Malcolm Sillick (@Malcolm_Sillick) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE Lellani, it's not just EE, it's everyone. Even those on cable (Virgin Media) still have to have the phone plugged into the router. Seems like a good idea, until you get a power cut (which can be supported by a back-up battery, which is NOT given as standard) If the internet goes down, then so does your phone. Great if you have a mobile, but if you live in an area with a poor mobile signal, so reply on 'Wi-Fi calling' in the house, then when the internet goes down, you also have no mobile service. It's called progress!!
