@virginmedia Complaint is about billing after cancellation, your staff refusing to process my request to cancel and being told a different thing every time I call back… it’s been awful.

  • twiddlemeister
Dave/Давид 🇺🇦 (@twiddlemeister) reported from Cheadle Hulme, England

@virginmedia All status checkers say no outage reported, which is rubbish because I know of at least 4 people who have reported issues in this area.

  • Natterback
Mrs Jordan -Johnson (@Natterback) reported from Stockport, England

@virginmedia here we go again. Internet not working. How long has it been since I last reported this. Just over a month.

  • anttaylor23
Anthony Taylor (@anttaylor23) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia The what's app line is fine, your advisers don't seem like they want to keep me as a customer. Well not for a decent price anyway 👀

🐝Louise🐝 (@louaze) reported from Manchester, England

  • bludav_andrew
👽 (@bludav_andrew) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia Hi, for the 2nd time it appears you’re trying to charge me for a call out when I wasn’t supposed to be charged, I’ve already called once about this and was told it was corrected but it’s happened again? I’ve had to cancel my DD until sorted as due to come out 2morrow

  • essers
Esjay (@essers) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia @virginmedialife @VMSolutions_ I just want reconnecting, and I want someone to recognise that we should not have been disconnected, and treat this with some urgency. Or even acknowledge that it needs resolving, and that you have some concern for my situation and the stress it is causing.

  • izzwoz
Warrenesco Jacksonovakov (@izzwoz) reported from Ashton-under-Lyne, England

@virginmedia Seems your business model is never answer when someone wants to leave. 8 hours on WhatsApp yesterday totally ignored by Retentions. Queuing on phone again 30min probably get cut again after 1 hour.

  • twiddlemeister
Dave/Давид 🇺🇦 (@twiddlemeister) reported from Cheadle Hulme, England

@virginmedia Yes it’s an outage and not an issue with our modem, or else others wouldn’t be affected. I’m on your business line, and whilst I appreciate that might not be something you can look at directly, it’s clearly an issue that needs resolving for everybody.

  • HelenMHurley
Helen Hurley (@HelenMHurley) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia great customer service from your engineer Pete this morning. Polite, knew his stuff and a credit to your company. 10 out of 10. Would recommend yourselves.

  • Jo8Pink
Joanne Fallon (@Jo8Pink) reported from Macclesfield, England

@virginmedia I’ve been waiting, yet again, for 10 days to get a call to resolve my wifi issue. Can’t contact you by website and I’m not sitting for another 90mins to get passed round 6 people 😡. Ongoing issue for far too long now. 8 years I’ve been a customer, like it matters??

  • RebeccaHRM
Rebecca Westaway (@RebeccaHRM) reported from Cheadle Hulme, England

@virginmedia Resolved overnight but would have appreciated VM acknowledging the interruption to service in the area. Saves everyone a great deal of time and mobile data

  • Rayzor74
Ray Morgan. NHS💙🇺🇦 (@Rayzor74) reported from Stockport, England

Good start to the day with @virginmedia informing me my monthly bill is increasing by £15/month and I have until the 17th of April to decide on my options. That is £180 annually. Having been firstly a Nynex customer and a Virgin customer since the takeover think it may be time

  • carlbarrett
    Carl 🙃 (@carlbarrett) reported from Ashton-under-Lyne, England

@virginmedia a landscaper just went through my virgin cable in the garden, how can I arrange this be fixed? the customer helpline isn’t very helpful.

  • andymillington
Andy Millington (@andymillington) reported from Cheadle Hulme, England

@virginmedia My stepson and his partner having real problems getting someone to move the account to new address. Seems like a simple self installation M&T but nobody will help.

  • JoshuaBurns
Josh B (@JoshuaBurns) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia Yes, tried last night and your service status page was actually down. Today I checked and it showed no issues, I run the diagnostic and no issues either. Came back up late this afternoon.

  • mark001282
Mark Armstrong (@mark001282) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia I spoke to your customer service team on 2nd January who advised all issues had been resolved and my sim card was being sent out by royal mail delivery. Even with any postal delays out of your control it seems odd that it hasn't arrived.

  • daviesa02
    Alex Davies (@daviesa02) reported

@virginmedia an engineer visited over the weekend to install my broadband, but the external work wasn’t finished. CS booked another engineer for today, but they don’t need them anymore because the roadworks are is being completed today. £25 to cancel myself, can this be sorted?

  • BirchillsBoy
    BirchillsBoy (@BirchillsBoy) reported

It's later this month I can put my notice in with Virgin Media. £40 a month for just broadband is too much. Speed is fast and the service has been good, but I am now running a 5G router alongside from Three at £11 a month rising to £22 next year. Similar speeds. Financial decision.

  • VirginMediaNews
    Virgin Media News (@VirginMediaNews) reported

First-time drug possession may no longer mean prosecution. From today, adults caught with a small amount of drugs for personal use may instead be referred to the HSE for support. They must admit the drugs were for their own use and agree to take part in the scheme. More on Virgin Media PLAY.

Hello I've had no internet for a week now I had a engineer come out on Wednesday the 26 and he said I need a new wire as the one outside was cut by workmen and another engineer came out on Thursday and I've heard nothing since help please @virginmedia

  • William232393
    William (@William232393) reported

I had Virgin Media - for 10 hours, I also had Virgin Money, I will never EVER touch anything at all with Virgin in front of its name.

  • AstonVillaDoge
    Unainstein (@AstonVillaDoge) reported

So done with @virginmedia, live chat is useless, offer you absolutely terrible deals 'Your renewal offer will be £15 a month more than you currently pay, despite above inflation cost increases every April and you will receive nothing extra in return. This is our biggest discount'

  • MarinaRobb
    Marina Robb (@MarinaRobb) reported

@MelJanie @virginmedia Tellingly, the engineer who eventually came out (I'd already cancelled the service) said they still had to fit the back up line as they'd been fined £28 million by the regulator. Appalling customer service though.

  • jdonascimento
    Jenny Do Nascimento (@jdonascimento) reported

I moved house on August 28th and Virgin Media has been unable to connect my internet service. It's terrible service; I've wasted hours talking to them with no results. @Virgin #England

  • GauBan
    GauBan_Penguin 🐧*Audio Description: Blue Tick* (@GauBan) reported

Virgin Media/O2 service event to **** when they started using the same type of call centres that Scammer PayBack would have interest in.

  • Malcolm_Sillick
    Malcolm Sillick (@Malcolm_Sillick) reported

@LeilaniDowding @EE Lellani, it's not just EE, it's everyone. Even those on cable (Virgin Media) still have to have the phone plugged into the router. Seems like a good idea, until you get a power cut (which can be supported by a back-up battery, which is NOT given as standard) If the internet goes down, then so does your phone. Great if you have a mobile, but if you live in an area with a poor mobile signal, so reply on 'Wi-Fi calling' in the house, then when the internet goes down, you also have no mobile service. It's called progress!!
