  • mark770
Mark Walker (@mark770) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

@virginmedia JS, have you taken the time to read the thread through? It would appear not as your previous colleague intimated that you would be looking at auto-comp issue when I notified you that the issue had been resolved though you mentioned nothing about that.

  • DanielHill21

  • mark770
Mark Walker (@mark770) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

@virginmedia An area outage with something your end caused my issue (no bband) to flag as being resolved at your end. That was not the case in slightest (still without bband) and the tech appt this morning being cancelled but no notification

  • simonmp68
SimonMorrisonPeacock (@simonmp68) reported from Thornaby-on-Tees, England

@virginhelp @Virgin Sorry, yeah it’s Virgin Media. Just waited an hour on Wednesday and it’s over half an hour now I can’t wait any longer owing to an appointment but I need some help as soon as possible Thankyou

  • SimonHolliday13
Simon (@SimonHolliday13) reported from Thornaby-on-Tees, England

@virginmedia Unfortunately it's still not fixed. No TV and no Internet. Both keep dropping in and out intermittently. Which is better than zero service yesterday and I may finally finish that book on conscription I bought in Leeds earlier this year.

  • rachsclarke
rachel (@rachsclarke) reported from Middlesbrough, England

@virginmedia Wireless mainly, even though the device is right next to the router. This is the 3rd day in a row - never had this problem in the 10yr of been a customer

  • UKLightCreation
Bryan Light (@UKLightCreation) reported from Redcar, England

@virginmedia They can't help either, the real issue, lets be honest, is the fact nobody at Virgin will admit their equipment is awful and not really fit for purpose, the least super thing ever is the superhub 3.0

  • UKLightCreation
Bryan Light (@UKLightCreation) reported from Redcar, England

@virginmedia You won't process it as I am not willing to pay for 30 days of no Internet as the hub has almost zero range even if my line issues are resolved

  • AllpointsTV
AllpointsTV - Jamie (@AllpointsTV) reported from Guisborough, England

@virginmedia so trying to get an engineer to fix my 1gb internet after days of it running at sub 200mb and disconnecting at midnight it’s now been off for over a day . I just kept being told try again in one hour

  • UKLightCreation
Bryan Light (@UKLightCreation) reported from Redcar, England

@virginmedia I wouldn't recommend your media connect app its awful, the booster you sent out does exactly zero, as for blackspots around the house that would be anywhere in the house more than 1.5m from the hub, all the software in the world won't polish the turn you call a superhub

  • AlanHewitt10
Big Al H (@AlanHewitt10) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

@virginmedia how do you have the front to increase my bills by nearly 20 percent and yet your service has been awful lately. In the morning my tv broadband and landline is going. And my mobile will not be renewed.

  • UKLightCreation
Bryan Light (@UKLightCreation) reported from Redcar, England

@virginmedia No, just continue to ignore me as they have no idea how to fix it

  • rachsclarke
rachel (@rachsclarke) reported from Middlesbrough, England

@virginmedia You realise we’ve already missed 35 minutes of this 90 minute match? Are you going to be refunding customers due to your inconsistent service

  • andy_wilmot
Andy Wilmot (@andy_wilmot) reported from Hartlepool, England

£40+ a month for WiFi which cuts in and out. Just another day for a @virginmedia customer 🤬😡

  • simonmp68
SimonMorrisonPeacock (@simonmp68) reported from Thornaby-on-Tees, England

@virginmedia My services are suspended. I am housebound,no tv no internet. I only ask for an extension to further my services for one week but company rules and non-existent customer service is really upsetting me. I’ve been a loyal customer and feel betrayed

  • MawsonAsht43296
    Ashton Mawson (@MawsonAsht43296) reported

@virginmedia broadband down in Gloucestershire, estimated fix is the 10/6, four days away, is that some sort of joke ?!? What’s actually going on. Elderly people who rely on the broadband are without essential services due to this, what’s happening ?!?!

  • Malcolm_Sillick
    Malcolm Sillick (@Malcolm_Sillick) reported

@London_W4 The trouble is that O2 are now in bed with Virgin Media, who also have dreadful Indian 'Tech Support', who can't sort anying out and just read from scripts. Like many companies these days, if you can even find a phone number, they just give loads of messages, telling you to go to their website. The UK could do with a dose of American style customer service!!

  • Slugy__

@SnapeBS @virginmedia Did they go down or just bad hit reg

  • fludgate1
    Callum Fludgate (@fludgate1) reported

@virginmedia How am I meant to get on the page when I have no internet access by phone or tv? That’s my problem my phone gone down as well.. I’m only using my dad’s internet atm !!

  • CarryOnGemma
    CarryOnGemma (@CarryOnGemma) reported

What now? @VirginMedia? I have tried to sign into my account to claim the reimbursement from not having the products you charge from dad. He should be getting a hefty rebate. Yet, you now can't sign me into the account because it's not connected to O2. So I tried that and you've blocked me because I have used the email to sign in too much. The email that is connected to the account. Then the phone number too much. If you don't fix this before I call you in the next twenty-four hours I'll take this to the courts which you have your bots saying people can't. Get me to let me sign in.

@virginmedia Down in Wexford and all there is 3G. Omg. Unbelievably bad. Thought that was gone years ago. Time to go Vodafone

  • poppyandoscar
    catherineleech (@poppyandoscar) reported

@virginmedia what an awful company. Someone I know is selling their house. Not gone through yet while they were out you came and drilled holes in their house and attached cable to the neighbours fence. Went when told to get off their property but you turned up again today.

  • oldpoyntz
    MrsM 💙 (@oldpoyntz) reported

@PeterBakerMcfc @virginmedia Internet is back now. No one touched anything and it goes off. Moving to Community Fibre once this contract is up. I can't keep having these issues & paying through the nose. At least we'll be able to rotate through the apps as and when needed.
