@philsid @virginmedia Me either mate. Was surprised actually. Only issue is the line speed was poor as they use the old bt phone lines so gaming ping could be a nightmare. I changed back soon as I could but thier name is mud up here mate

@virginmedia I have had no communication at all from Virgin Media so I am not even ware that you have logged the issue, nor even that you are doing anything about it. Presumably you will be refunding me for the days where I continue to effectively have no useful internet? @MoneyTelegraph

@virginmedia Its off more times than its on of late. I'm still getting an intermittent line issue on my bb which ive had pretty much from day one and the whole service goes off in wakefield/ dewsbury area at least once a week. Its off now.

@virginmedia I moved back to virgin in Feb as I had a house move and it wasn't on my new street.Soon as they put it in I switched back to you but it certainly isn't the "always on" service I remember. I've had a new tivo within 2 months. Line issue. And repeated loss of service.All in 6 month

@Ofcom why are you still allowing virgin media to provide intermittent tv, broadband and phone packages without punishment. In our area over the last two year they have provided an awful service. Constantly going down or intermittent. Horrible customer service.

@virginmedia Yes, it is, and the situation has still not changed I am afraid. Virgin Media has not given any further information regards this, and Ai have no idea when the issue may be resolved. It is impossible to get any information at all!

@virginmedia Yes, I have checked it again and exactly the same issue. Moreover it is clear that the issue persists since I am unable to perform my remote consultation work today because of the issue. I am really appalled by the way Virgin Media is handling this issue. @MoneyTelegraph

@virginmedia There is currently no outage in the my area CF3 (although as I did say it does occur often). I do restart the box when the issue becomes too insufferable but I find that it still only last a few hours before issues occur again.

.@virginmedia after being charged for phantom calls my dad had an engineer out today who advised that the issue isn't crossed wires. Where do we go from here? He absolutely did not make the calls - we even checked the handset call log. Thinking of changing provider at this stage.

@virginmedia On top of that your service does breaks few minutes few mins there on a daily basis at some point loosing all both AP's from being available which also causes a bottleneck on the laptop as well and I have to reboot, it's also crashed during meetings also..

Ive had more issues with @virginmedia broadband in the month I switched over than I had in over 4 years with @bt_uk. Devices not connecting. Devices being disconnected for no reason, and the router showing a white light but the actual Internet connection not showing. Piss poor!
