    A lesson in terrible customer service from @virginmedia: 1) Tell customer their new home is Virgin Media ready 2) Send the wrong wiring to new address 3) Don't send a technician over for 2 days 4) Promise the technician will be there between 8am-2pm 5) Technician arrives at 5pm

    9) Offer nothing in the way of a discount or compensation. Fill the call with long awkward silences until customer hangs up 10) Wait for customer to change to @BT & for it all to blow over. At this point, I'm hoping @richardbranson will be personally installing our @virginmedia.

    Decided to leave @virginmedia today after ringing them up. Great service no reason to leave other than I need to be a “new customer” to access the best deals. My monthly bill more than doubled. Hello @NOWTV or @SkyUK I think.....

    6) Technician says nothing he can do & that, despite Virgin promising it was, tell customer their house is not in fact Virgin Media ready. 7) Wait for disgruntled customer to ring them. 8) Tell customer earliest they can get another technician out is 2.5 weeks.

    @virginmedia AWFUL AWFUL SERVICE. BEWARE. Has to hold for 30 minutes, wrong department answered. They put we through to correct department which was wrong department again. After 10 more minutes I was put through to ‘correct department’ only to get a@message saying call tomorrow

    @virginmedia Consistently have issues with it whilst working from home even after receiving the free upgrade to our router, so we are considering leaving as of the end of our 18 months next month. The price is also going from £33/m to £49/m which absolutely doesn’t reflect the service.

    @virginmedia your service is horrific! Intermittent broadband for 6 months, 5 calls to the call centre & no joy, a promise from the tech team of it being fixed with a week....1 month ago & no change. A promise of a call back from a manager within 2 hours...1 month ago. Shameful.

    @virginmedia My daughter keeps loosing connection on MS Teams and is missing vital teaching. This issue has been present for months. I can't contact anyone at Virgin. I want a full refund for the last 4 months and I want this issue sorted, yesterday!!

    @virginmedia No, I’d like an email address please. I am not PHONING for the billionth time in ten months due to WiFi issues and engineers and booster sets at an hours wait to get through to a human to then be cut off midway through conversation to have to phone again and repeat.
