    @tryingattimes @virginmedia 100% correct took ages to cancel my 80yo mum's service when my dad got vascular dementia. They sent me all sorts of patronising messages on here. All designed to extract money from vulnerable people. STEER WELL CLEAR!

    @zoebartlett Funny how @virginmedia say they have no access to accounts over social media yet yesterday I dealt with my issue finally over the same social media platform. They contradict themselves time after time.

    @virginmedia Having just looked at model photos it's the Hub 4 I have, set to Modem Mode. The connection drop problem is with the Hub itself (the solid white ring light then starts glowing to show it is "connecting"), so the connection drop affects both wired and wireless connections.

    @virginmedia and after a previous phone call a few weeks ago where your adviser said we could write a letter of complaint, we have still received no response in writing as requested and today been told it’s not your policy to reply? Terrible service!

    @virginmedia is this the kind of bad service we now have to pay for? Charging us fibre prices but getting slow speed, can’t call the contact centre. Internet as slow as a sloth in TN233JA area This is very bad service

    @virginmedia another poor lengthy phone call with one of your customer service advisers following being mis-sold your services. Refusal to listen to our original telephone calls where we were mis-sold the service and refusal to accept any responsibility.

    @virginmedia so you don't have a complaints team yet you advise to ring x number to raise a complaint. Misleading information re when a call can be pulled to listen to. Told twice 72 hours, 96 hours gone by and now being told 30-40 days.

    @virginmedia can anyone in the UK retentions department actually listen to a call and call a customer back? I've tried calling this morning to check progress after more than 2 weeks and the people answering the phone can't understand what I'm asking I've been hung up on 3 times

    @virginmedia Yes have posted in forums - no response, called, live chats, SMS. full works. Engineers even told us prob is not at our property as far back as Oct/Nov and neighbours have same issue but nothing is done, call centre staff are rude and treat you with contempt. Ref is C0912202465

    @virginmedia on top of hundreds of spam junk emails we have umpteen scam calls on the landline. Very day I am getting increasingly saddened by Virgin Media’s inability to stop scammers and spam flooding my system. Very expensive terrible service

    @virginmedia What a joke. My partner, a loyal customer for 16yrs. He left due to very poor service. Now suddenly without notice you have blocked his email address. Very important emails that he can't retrieve. warning him would have been helpful he could have got his contacts

    Well laters #virginmedia I will be off to sky when the contracts up next month. Terrible service, no TV again today and yet you still call me everyday to get me to take out another contract.

    @virginmedia It seems to be on wheels!! It was originally a week till 2nd Sept, and now it 6th Sept! I’ve been a customer for 20+ yrs, but I’m now looking for an alternative. The CS Rep I spoke to last was obviously working from home, and didn’t have time to speak to me.

    @virginmedia Aloha! it goes like this, internet stops working, hub light stay white, then after about 5 mins, turns off, flashes white and then after another 5 it comes back to life, 5 times in 2 days, I never have issues, all connections solid and rebooted, app says no issues

    @virginmedia I have spent several hours already discussing this with your team and the @O2 team. They haven’t figured out how to rectify issue. There is a complaint which is apparently being dealt with but we shall see. Hopefully the negligence with personal information is not more widespread

    @virginmedia got a letter 2 say it was going up.I downgraded package 2 a lowerspec. Got sent a new contract at £32. Now been charge package changes £10. People in your switchboard never heard of it! 1 suggested I contact my bank 2 get it back! Please help before I have to involve my back

    @virginmedia Yes, I’ve done all these. Very frustrating as I only had a new super hub and cabling to house installed 2 weeks ago. Never had such intermittent service in 20 years of using virgin.
