@mcintyrejack @iRacing @virginmedia Haven’t tried a router, with all the convo with VM about this potentially being fixed soon and me not wanting to blow money on one. Plus the issue seems to come and go so I’m not sure if it would be a constant issue with a router or not.

  • elsby_clare Clare Elsby (@elsby_clare) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia my partner is main carer for his 86 year old dad & lives with him in lockdown. They have not had telly since Friday evening DVR serious problem. His dad relies on the telly. They have tried to phone you and go online, but no help. PLEASE SORT!

  • simoneperrin123 Simone Perrin (@simoneperrin123) reported from Wellingborough, England

  • RonSydenham Ron Sydenham (@RonSydenham) reported from Raunds, England

@virginmedia So are you saying you’re not aware of any problems from London up to the midlands. Seems I’m the one to do all the checking for you. You know there’s a problem, explain it diagnose it and fix it,you’d have no problem chasing a missed payment.

  • sszmidt199 Stephen Szmidt (@sszmidt199) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@RogerProtzBeer @virginmedia This is totally unacceptable. When resolved ask for compensation for loss of service, inconvenience & your time. Keep records. Raise an official complaint following their process. If unhappy with their response complain to CISA, their ombudsman. Consider switching. Good luck!

  • EppsRacer Mike Epps 🇬🇧🇳🇿 (@EppsRacer) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@JoshPainter1998 @virginmedia Yeah, I’ve had intermittent packet loss / instability issues for weeks now. Affects my esports gaming which is on live television, great advert for them. Have had five deadlines now for when their loca work will be finished and problems sorted. Literally baffled.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • eeddiieebb G4MERDADx (@eeddiieebb) reported

@virginmedia It's nothing to do with my area, it's the EXACT same issue I've been having since MAY last year. All the calls are recorded and so are these tweets, so will be seeking legal advice.

  • NirvanaCryt nirvana (@NirvanaCryt) reported

@virginmedia So your telling me that Virgin media is harassing people? The reports for the number is very negative isn't that a problem for your company? It seems like a massive scam and when some of your staff admit to that it's not helpful

  • smashbangwallop Smash bang wallop (@smashbangwallop) reported

@virginmedia No, this is an ongoing issue seems to be particularly bad in SE19

  • 1nfiniteGame RDP (@1nfiniteGame) reported

@a_mooster @virginmedia Mine is also extremely slow right now, paying for 100MB getting 15MB

  • Jeegar_S Jeegar (@Jeegar_S) reported

@virginmedia Sorry guys, but who do I speak to about compensation for a degraded service, its been almost 2 weeks of this with no update of a fix. Not to mention the latest firmware for your hub 3 has now completely screwed over the wifi network

  • ClarityRjn RJN Clarity (@ClarityRjn) reported

@virginmedia I have spent over 3 hours trying to sort an issue no one will help even or review my complaint it’s like pass the parcel come on guys ! I have called, on line chat the lot who can I email

  • adam_pinkerton Adam Pinkerton (@adam_pinkerton) reported

@virginmedia I submitted a house move in Feb which was then put on hold and have not had any contact since. I have spent MANY hours on hold trying to get to the bottom of it and have since gone with another provider. Appalling service.

  • adam_pinkerton Adam Pinkerton (@adam_pinkerton) reported

@virginmedia The emails and sms I have had claiming to be from VM come from domains and phone numbers that are unrelated to VM and thus do not appear to be legitimate, but possibly fraudulent in nature. If they are in fact from VM, this is REALLY bad practice from a security perspective

  • _davebull Dave Bull (@_davebull) reported

@virginmedia I’ve already called twice and requested the return package and it never arrives. I’m not doing it a third time 🙃. Where do I send the router to?

  • Stretchious Stretchious (@Stretchious) reported

@virginmedia You must also have a much better phone than I have if you can block numbers directly on it. So are you saying... I need to buy a better phone to prevent a problem that should be solved at the provider level (which every other provider in the UK already offers).
