@virginmedia No, I've gone down this route before, just look in to your routing servers and or the bandwidth limit. Any time I do anything remotely intensive all packets start getting dropped. I'm on my knees.

You'd think when @virginmedia sent out a new router it'd be one that works better than the old one, apparently not though, this ones shite as well. 3 days in a row, three seemingly random bouts of just not working

Spend hours waiting for someone to answer @virginmedia then they just tell me ‘wait till tomorrow and it will work’. And it never does, cancellation never sounded so appealing

@virginmedia I have had: -An upgrade -An engineer come and change the box outside my house -A brand new hub -New power line adapters -My connection tested on your end numerous times And yet the connection, 99 times out of 100, feels like total shit whenever I use anything intensive.

@virginmedia 200 down from what I can remember, I'm at work right now so I can't check but the speed isn't the issue. Also, I said "should" because based on his test, it's an above average connection, but in practice, it's wildly inconsistent in terms of ping, packet loss/timing.

@virginmedia My wife rang (as account in her name) eventually got through, and an engineer is expected in next few hours as I connection at all now!!Poor/no mobile signal at home as booster box is connected to your router, so even more inconvenience right now.

@virginmedia Again, I appreciate what you're saying, but similarly I've had an engineer to my house and he said that within the parameters of his test, that my connection should be better than average. This is an issue with how my connection is being routed.

The biggest joke with UK broadband is you're only compensated if you lose service *entirely* for at least two days. Of course, that never happens. Instead, it cuts in and out every 5 minutes for a week, so it's unusable but you still pay. Well done @virginmedia.

@virginmedia hi, will it be a problem if I've used the same email address for my account at two addresses? I can still log into my old cancelled service at my old address and I'm awaiting delivery of BB to my new address today. Logging in shows all the wrong details. Help please.
