    @virginmedia broadband has been absolutely dire in the last few weeks. Phases of outage or sun 2mbps speeds. Anyone else experiencing similar in SE26 area? Remember it was around cold snap it got bad - maybe affected the infrastructure.

    @virginmedia Have you ever not been too busy? You have the worst customer service known to man. Every comedian compares bad customer service to you. You are the benchmark for bad. I have been trying to get in touch for five hours now. Chat, phone, Twitter and SMS.

    Anyone have constant issues with @virginmedia we pay for 200Mb super fast broadband. We are in Bromley. Over the last year we have had nothing but issues and no matter how many times we make contact we get fobbed off. We are paying for a service that cannot deliver. Anyone else?

    @virginmedia I have been “on hold” since 1851 for a customer service agent. This is kinda cementing my view of needing to leave.

    @virginmedia No apparently there are ongoing issues in my area Cm5 9az which you are hoping to resolved by the 5th but not definite i just wish you would inform customers when these faults occur rather than us chasing you up

    @virginmedia Thank you but we have complained and no response. We are with you because you offer 200Mb and we need that, the closest competitor offers only 60Mb. It’s frustrating that we are paying for a service that is not guaranteed

    @virginmedia That is what happened. If it didn’t happened to you it is even more strange. Do you want me to do it again and record it? In the meantime, I was contacted today and agreed a way forwards to stay with VM. It is quite hard to have to deal with bad customer care while grieving.

    @virginmedia Service status says no known issues but when I call over the phone an automated message refers to intermittent problems last two days and that engineers are taking a long time to fix complex problems. Currently ok but recently every day there is a long period of issues.

    @virginmedia Yes I did, a VM agent went through the whole event and resolved it for me. There are thousands of VM customers in a FaceBook group suffering similar problems it is called Virgin Media Customer Service.

    Not very good @virginmedia complaint C-2901212518 emailed to say they tried to call. No they haven’t. No incoming calls registered and nothing on my mobile! Didn’t even remotely address the complaint in the email. Please call me!

    @virginmedia Not very helpful. If your company can’t fix the issue, why would the community be able to? Spent another hour on the phone again today, again being told I will get a call back in 45 mins. It didn’t happen. Still no email!

    I have noticed a lot of people complain about the service received from @virginmedia for broadband. @Ofcom please can you look into this? We pay for a service that has constantly let us down for many months.

    I understand it takes time to replace fibre optics. I don‘t understand why @virginmedia sends out messages that are plain wrong. My connection is not working, has not been working ever since Tuesday evening. Is this to avoid having to pay back customers?

    @virginmedia I’m using the sky sports desktop app which opens a web page to sign in with virgin details. I’m using chrome for this and have cleared cache and tried private browser. I can see other teeets with users who have a similar issue so im guessing my browser isn’t the issue.

    @josefoshea @lstwrd @jennpops Thanks Joe. Afraid my faith in Virgin Media is not too strong. For instance, they are criminally bad on dropping sub-titles (which someone in this house needs) even on the newest of programmes, with paltry excuses when I complain.
