I called up on monday (whilst waiting for my order) as the link i was sent to ‘upgrade now’ let me go all the way through to payment and never once mentioned out of stock or a delay. My mother died in 2003 and trying to close her BT landline account was a nightmare. The person I spoke to kept saying “we need to speak to the customer”! Finally I went into the BT sales centre saw a charming lady and in 20 minutes I had finished.

I went to your store simply to buy a Vodafone SIM card and was treated like an enemy of the Crown rather than a potential customer. The attitude of the staff was arrogant, hostile and completely disproportionate to such a simple request. When a customer challenges poor service, your employees should not respond with intimidation, threats or an attitude designed to make the customer feel unwelcome. Your store staff are there to serve customers—not interrogate them as if they were members of the Secret Service. I expected professionalism from a major British telecommunications company. Instead, I experienced arrogance, hostility and behaviour that left me questioning whether Vodafone actually wants customers. @VodafoneUK, is this really the standard of customer service you consider acceptable in London? Because if so, the problem isn't the customer. The problem is Vodafone.
