Vodafone Issues Reports Near Newton-le-Willows, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Newton-le-Willows and nearby locations:

  • DagsJT Darren Thomas (@DagsJT) reported from Warrington, England

@bt_uk Hi, it’s not about their service ... it’s about yours technically as you’re provided the underlying system that @VodafoneUK use. So even if I changed to you, I’d still be using the same line which they say can’t support over 39Mbps due to my distance from the exchange ...

  • DagsJT Darren Thomas (@DagsJT) reported from Warrington, England

@VodafoneUK This is a long running issue I’m afraid. I’ve had Steve from your directors office tell me I’ll never get more than 39Mbps due to my distance from the exchange, but Openreach say it’s distance from cabinet and not exchange. I don’t think Vodafone want to investigate it really.

  • Emma1187 Emma Mellor (@Emma1187) reported from Salford, England

@VodafoneUK absolute joke! Persuaded me to upgrade yesterday rather than cancel and you fail to put it through correctly. Spoke to 6 people today and only the last person realised it hadn’t been processed correctly and now I’m not being offered the same deal.

  • idavo66 David Josef 🏳️‍🌈🇪🇺🇵🇸🌹 (@idavo66) reported from Salford, England

@VodafoneUK - I go live today with my Broadband & have just opened the box to get the router out. I do not know if this was part of the design brief & customer experience you planned, but my - the smell! It is like a new magazine, new car, new book. My first experience is wow!

  • welfarelawyer Ngaryan (@welfarelawyer) reported from Liverpool, England

@VodafoneUK Cut the call as I have work. It's madness that you can't go in-store to just cancel a contract. Or it's not made simpler for people wanting to leave. This whole experience has been stressful and I'm very reluctant to recommend Vodafone in the future.

  • popkw karla williams (@popkw) reported from Warrington, England

@VodafoneUK shocking service. I’ve spoken to six advisors and still not fixed the problem. I have been a Vodafone customer for many years with 4 phones well no longer, I am done.

  • DagsJT Darren Thomas (@DagsJT) reported from Warrington, England

Been on the phone for 28 mins so far trying to cancel my @VodafoneUK broadband. First person says I’ll have to pay £149 to leave despite them not meeting OFCOM regulations, then they back down and say they’ll waive the fee, then transfer me to 2nd Line regarding my speeds!

  • DagsJT Darren Thomas (@DagsJT) reported from Warrington, England

So now @VodafoneUK say they’ve lifted this cap and I should start to see my speeds go up over the next 24-48 hours. I can’t help but feel like nothing is going to change and my speed won’t go up at all. I’ve got zero confidence in @VodafoneUK when their own directors office ...

  • CP_Jock Col.I.Am (@CP_Jock) reported from Urmston, England

Hey @VodafoneUK your twitter support has eclipsed your online and phone support. 👏 you are the worst support team ever.

  • DagsJT Darren Thomas (@DagsJT) reported from Warrington, England

. @VodafoneUK are reaching new levels of incompetence. After a complaint regarding slow speeds, the first person at the directors office tells me it’s tough and I’ll never get the speed I was promised. Not happy with this, I follow it up and another person from the office ...

  • welfarelawyer Ngaryan (@welfarelawyer) reported from Liverpool, England

Absolutely unacceptable I have been on live chat for the last 2 days and now and been cut off. Still no closer to getting disconnected @VodafoneUK sort your customer service out! 😡

  • R_to_the_D The Mad Hatter (@R_to_the_D) reported from Hindley, England

@VodafoneUK whilst I like your network your 3G is very poor. Before rolling out #5G can you at least make sure you have 4G everywhere beforehand. A lot of my trail journey into Manchester still relies on 3G

  • zara_c_ Zara Prudhoe (@zara_c_) reported from Roby, England

@VodafoneUK your customer service is shocking still waiting for a call back from customer relations following a data protection breech!! 😡😡

  • JardiniereChef Simon Edge (@JardiniereChef) reported from Urmston, England

Disgusting @VodafoneUK just deactivated my secure net which I never asked for. Sneak charge is a nice way to put it. Blatant theft would be more accurate.

  • DagsJT Darren Thomas (@DagsJT) reported from Warrington, England

@VodafoneUK I’ve logged an official complaint now. I’ve wasted so much time on here, your chat and (when i get through) to your phone team only to not actually get anywhere and get the speed I’ve been promised. Hopefully an official complaint will get someone to actually bother.

  • garycrowe03 gary crowe (@garycrowe03) reported from Liverpool, England

@VodafoneUK That is the level of service you give, you allow a 10 year old boy to be upset because your lack communication skills by given different information depending on who you speak to.

  • oneladyshow Charlie (@oneladyshow) reported from Salford, England

@MDOG_Manchester @O2 @EE @VodafoneUK I have been with them around 15 years too and I can’t even message people sometimes in the city centre. They offer absolutely no help whatsoever just same old bullshit replies

  • LeroyDLS David-Leeroy Sellers (@LeroyDLS) reported from Liverpool, England

I am absolutely fuming waking up an Unsolicited cold call from @EE trying to sell me stuff. I blocked so many numbers and seriously that’s the last straw @EE CANCEL MY CONTRACT!! NOW!! It’s clearly #harassment - @VodafoneUK WOULD NOT TREAT a valued customer this way 😡@ee

  • DagsJT Darren Thomas (@DagsJT) reported from Warrington, England

@VodafoneUK Had a call from your broadband team earlier but I wasn’t at home so they gave me a ref number and a phone number to call you back. But your system doesn’t recognise my ref number and now I’m stuck in a queue just trying to speak to anyone. 10 mins so far. Poor.

  • tmcd1989 Tom McDermott (@tmcd1989) reported from Roby, England

@VodafoneUK I cancelled my contract but my Spotify has continued. I can’t cancel via the link as my number is no longer on Vodafone. Can somebody cancel it please.

@VodafoneUK How do I cancel my account?

  • Frugaldom Frugaldom (@Frugaldom) reported

Anyone else in SW Scotland having trouble wth their @VodafoneUK signal? It's been deteriorating over the past while and is now intermittently non-existent. Most annoying when solely reliant on it - had to buy a Three sim!

  • SFran51 Stephen J. Bunclark 🇬🇧 (@SFran51) reported

@VodafoneUK @SteveVoller1 Hi Vodafone UK when are you going to grow a spine and ignore the hate mobs and continue advertsing on GB News? The Wokeist hate mobs are going to damage your profits.

  • DadPushy Big Daddy (@DadPushy) reported

@VodafoneUK @SteveVoller1 I’ve been a Vodafone customer for many years if you pull your advertising from @GBNEWS my family and I will have no alternative but to change provider end there’s many like us .

  • LAttracted ******** & Gay Men - Same Sex Attracted (@LAttracted) reported

@VodafoneUK @SteveVoller1 I'm a Vodafone customer and have helped neighbours get connected with you. I support diversity of opinion and discussion. If Vodafone favours censorship of GBNews I'll have to consider leaving and won't recommend you any more.

  • John_Gaskell John Gaskell (@John_Gaskell) reported

@SteveVoller1 @VodafoneUK Steve, genuine question, please educate me. What is the actual problem with @GBNEWS - I have to see anything remotely right-wing, anything hateful, anything controversial. Please point me to the actual issue.

  • ashleyjsmills Ashley Mills (@ashleyjsmills) reported

@VodafoneUK no I'm talktalk, but I know vodafone customers in the same area are experiencing issues. @talktalk are completely useless so maybe you can look into it

  • StuartJ77 Stuart Jones Ⓥ (@StuartJ77) reported

@VodafoneUK , have been a customer for over 15 years but am disappointed to see you buying advertising space on GB News. This channel deliberately attacks minorities, peddles conspiracy theories & promotes hate. I beg you to re-consider and to not supporting this channel

  • Josh_Deegan Josh Deegan (@Josh_Deegan) reported

So after an hour+ on the phone to @VodafoneUK I'm no closer to having my case resolved. I knew upgrading was a bad idea and the trade in discount was too good to be true.
