@VodafoneUK Fair play. We’ll see if it’s as effective as it is secret. (btw, “*free* spam reporting service” - do you think it’s something you’d be justified in charging for?)

  • Tuliptouch1
Chris (@Tuliptouch1) reported from Tacolneston, England

@VodafoneUK @VodafoneUK still no sign of the “guaranteed” trade in payment being made. It’s now 34 days after you confirmed my device was accepted. Emails, phone calls, messages all containing false promises or at worst lies.

  • TopMarkNorwich
TopMark Norwich (@TopMarkNorwich) reported from Poringland, England

@BIGDaddyDigital @MrSteThompson @VodafoneUK We had 6 weeks Oct/Nov of no coverage in our local area, they were very good and refunded £100 for loss of service. Happened again in March and again refunded. I always used chat box on the app 👍

@VodafoneUK can someone please help me. I took up your trade in offer well over a month ago. You’ve had my phone since early September and promised the money in my account during the last week of September. I’ve called your “customer services “ twice now.

  • kenhurst

@VodafoneUK Yup, I’m doing my bit by taking time and trouble to do all that and more. But nowhere is my question “what precisely is @VodafoneUK @VodafoneGroup doing” answered? “Dedicated team” and “take this matter seriously” are just platitudes.

  • tniops

@VodafoneUK I feel let down. I made a costly mistake back in Sept/Oct I inadvertently used my phone on a maritime network running up an unwelcome bill. @VodafoneUK agreed a repayment plan which was finished yesterday including a goodwill gesture of £65. Now they say I owe a further £20!!!

@VodafoneUK got a call from your ‘trying to sell Broadband’ team from 0800 098 7938. Told him 3 times, politely, that I didn’t want it and the guy was seriously pushy. In the end I hung up as he pissed me off. Maybe help them understand when people don’t want something. Thanks.

  • Ed_Sabella
    Ed Sabella (@Ed_Sabella) reported

@DanielPriestley I don’t think this is really about protecting kids, it’s more about collecting information on everyone. I have two young kids and use @VodafoneUK . I used to block specific websites easily through the router, but Vodafone removed that option and replaced it with their so-called “Secure Net” app. Now you can only block by category, not by individual websites. It turns out this is perfectly legal. The UK government doesn’t require providers to offer specific site blocking. They only want category blocking, which gives parents far less real control. It’s the same problem as YouTube: no matter how many categories you block, creators always find ways around it. I highly recommend moving to @Starlink like I did
