@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Vodafone called me and offered an upgraded phone but actually opened a new contract and charged me for it for 2 years. Tried to cancel over 100’s of calls often in tears of fury. Had to go to Ombudsman who made them apologise and refund me £100. Which wasn’t enough, frankly.

Despite my brother asking them repeatedly to change the account they simply cut my frail, wheelchair-bound father off, so he had no communication, then refused to reconnect. @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I paid for a @VodafoneUK sim card with unlimited minutes and texts and a 40GB data package to cover my trip to the Lakes. Data worked but minutes and texts didn't! Following their link to check balances, both said unlimited. Couldn't get through to customer services...

Took over a week of my time on the phone to be told the same 🤬
