I said I was ending the contract. 10 mins later they rang to offer her new channels free if she stayed. I replied “ she’s bloody dead and and God has sky in heaven.” They got the point! For your info with regard to your issue - virgin media have just been fined £28m for preventing people ending their contracts. Perhaps talks to the culture internally that you are describing
