@Dickster27 @ThreeUK @O2 Thanks for the tip! Very odd way to do things. May be useful for some but the coverage is awful on 3 at home too so I’m definitely off to O2.

@PSobocki @ThreeUK It's newer spectrum so not all devices support it but newer devices do. Next time you change it will likely support it

@ThreeUKSupport Hi - trying to activate my sim for my new upgrade iPhone but your website keeps saying it’s suffering technical problems and so does your app. Any idea when they’ll be fixed. Thanks

  • iainlaw Iain Law (@iainlaw) reported from Aldershot, England

@ThreeUKSupport There has been practically no data service for over the past week. Yet if you leave the area and enter what I assume is the next base-station location, you get it back.

  • Poi00 Hida Poi (@Poi00) reported from Basingstoke, England

@ThreeUKSupport very limited signal north side of Basingstoke. RG24 9RD completely dead.

  • mattyboyc70 Matt 🛵 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧 (@mattyboyc70) reported from Basingstoke, England

@ThreeUK listen up @Threeuk if I don’t get my doctors phone appointment because of your crap network, you WILL be told where to shove your contract!!! GET IT SORTED

  • stephweller97 Steph Weller (@stephweller97) reported from Guildford, England

@ThreeUKSupport Everywhere I go I get no data signal! And turning it to 3G like your Reading store colleagues suggested doesn’t work either!

  • andydpaustin Andy Austin 🇪🇺 (@andydpaustin) reported from Basingstoke, England

@ThreeUKSupport The reason for the #complaint @Ofcom is that I can’t get the app to work and navigating your phone system has proved impossible ! I shall now be formalising my complaint. This really is ridiculous and frustrating. You are making it impossible for me to manage my accounts!

  • kostasbotonakis Konstantinos B. (@kostasbotonakis) reported from Ash, England

    @ThreeUK problems with 4G in Hampshire/Surrey since 3pm today..

  • bensmithuk Ben Smith (@bensmithuk) reported from Bentley, England

@kevwright @richardcyates @EE @VodafoneUK @ThreeUK @O2 The switch worked OK for menin the end. Inneed to write it up. Room for improvement but not terrible.

3 (Three) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • thatgeekychap @thatgeekychap (@thatgeekychap) reported

@ThreeUK I’d happily accept another test just for the @ThreeUK network. Seems a bit blazé to assume you’ve solved the issue. Presumably you thought it was fine before, either way?

  • Barry35245095 Barry. (@Barry35245095) reported

@ThreeUK Not really reassuring. As I have network problems on a daily basis. Sometimes I have no Mobile signal at all. But let's hope you can fix this huge problem with your network. As my contact is due to run out in December. And quite frankly it looks like a move is on the cards.

  • GothicBatRave 🦇🪩 Ellie 🧛‍♀️ (@GothicBatRave) reported

@ThreeUK This makes me think that it was a real emergency alert disguised right up until the last minute, so as to not worry the public. If weapons had secretly been prepared for release, and the military didn’t disarm them in time… a technical issue may have in fact been a hacking.

  • BenQuinn110577 Ben Quinn (@BenQuinn110577) reported

@ThreeUK I'm also one of the people who didn't receive the UK emergency alert test on Sunday. Everyone around me received it. Why did it only happen to Three customers mostly?

  • IamTomBailey Tom Bailey (@IamTomBailey) reported

With no explanation given a rise from £14 a month to £26. No reply from @ThreeUK @ThreeUKSupport time to look for a new mobile network

  • newplanet Graham Stevenson (@newplanet) reported

@siannnyyy26 @willjb88 @ThreeUK I was connected to wi-fi and didn’t get it. Believe me, I hope to never hear one of these alerts for real, but why would you be glad that a signal designed to warn you about imminent danger didn’t work for you when they tested it?

  • lucifer261164 #luc-ifer (@lucifer261164) reported

@NedHartley @ThreeUK No alert for me on o2 network with GiffGaff

  • summers_allan Allan Kempson (@summers_allan) reported

@ThreeUK That's great that it's fixed, but I really think there should be another test to reassure everyone that it's fixed everywhere, and so that we all know what they sound and look like in case of a real emergency.

  • rb357 Richard Bullock (@rb357) reported

@MartinSLewis I'm on @ThreeUK network, and never received the alert. They've released a statement saying there were issues with some (many?) customers not receiving it.

  • Indy259 Ian 🇬🇧🇪🇺🇩🇪 (@Indy259) reported

@chrisvecs @gingio @ThreeUK Emergency broadcast is not using wifi. It's a broadcast signal from the cell tower. Those that got the message were lucky that they were actively connected to the cell tower when the message was broadcast. Apparently Three only sent it once.
