  • slogan1980 Scott Logan (@slogan1980) reported from Birmingham, England

@btsport I’ve been trying to get through to cancel my BT Sport for literally three days now. I’m up to my 5th call, as we speak, I’ve been on hold for 32 minutes. I’d say it’s been nearly two hours across all of the calls.......shocking. I’ve used chat, and they are not helpful

  • StrideSteve Steve Stride (@StrideSteve) reported from Birmingham, England

Why don’t @btsport suspend subscriptions whilst they are not offering a service as @SkySports have done. £38.50 a month for zilch !

  • leemulliss123 lee mulliss (@leemulliss123) reported from Birmingham, England

@btsport still charging people full price for a service that’s useless due to sports cancellations. Should at least do the same at @SkySports Disgusting.

  • joshfoliee J O S H U A (@joshfoliee) reported from Birmingham, England

Hi @bt_uk it has now been 6 weeks since I moved in to my new property. My broadband & TV provider is @TalkTalk on moving in we discovered that there was no line coming in to the property and that it was a BT Openreach issue. 6 weeks later I’m still without internet. Disgusting 🗑

  • stevegoodman Steve Goodman (@stevegoodman) reported from Nuneaton, England

@andrew_kemp @bt_uk @virginmedia To be fair to VM I get excellent service round here. No FTTP available from BT though - I think the best I get is a paltry 16Mb/s. However the customer service.. not so good.

  • jokers_tailor Jozef Koztelo (@jokers_tailor) reported from Birmingham, England

Can you not have lost the audio while Robbie Savage was chatting ****? @btsport @btsportfootball

@bt_uk @btbusinesscare Have resolved our internet & phone issue. We are back up & running. Well, virtually we are.

  • MrT222 Tony Kenny (@MrT222) reported from Birmingham, England

@Halcruttenden @btsport Ditto. Sky first. Then BT. Graze boxes next (nice idea but still eat crap too) then the woofers. Two is a luxury I’ve decided so they have a week to prove who is staying. Mind you if I tell the wife I think I’m gone

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • BahnstormerTom Tom Lynch (@BahnstormerTom) reported

@RSdriver00 @Andrew_Frankel @bt_uk Hate to say it, I had a helpful human for my 25 days of no internet. But sadly they were unable to get much out of Openreach who actually maintain the network. Waiting for the local village fibre rollout to reach us very soon.

  • DurlstonP DP Durlston-Powell (@DurlstonP) reported

@shutupmoveon @Andrew_Frankel @bt_uk That's a very urban-focussed solution. I live on the outskirts of Bristol & e don't get signal indoors & only 4g outside. Its even worse further into the surrounding countryside. There are lots of people for whom the 1G cable is the fastest service.

  • Tinks3 HJT (@Tinks3) reported

@Andrew_Frankel @bt_uk Strap in, because they will not rush. Parents had their line willfully cut with a AXE by a lunatic! Took more than 20 days, multiple calls and increasingly agro complaints to get them to address the issue. They will supply a 4g hub, but they are basically useless...

  • Lou_Hunter0112 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Lou Hunter 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@Lou_Hunter0112) reported

One very unhappy new @bt_uk customer. Called yesterday because order not delivered had assurance would have new kit today in time for activation but surprise surprise it won't arrive until tomorrow. What's a person who's required to Work From Home to do today 😠

  • jonhoneyball Jon Honeyball (@jonhoneyball) reported

@Andrew_Frankel @bt_uk Shout if you want a line with business grade support. Contact @blackbirduk who provides all my multi site fibre and adsl. Just a customer here

  • shutupmoveon Rob Stannard (@shutupmoveon) reported

@Andrew_Frankel @bt_uk Who still uses BT physical wired telephone? Find airtime provider with best signal and just use 4g or 5g. Buy separate access point for internet backup. Someone ISP will provide broadband over BT wires. Copper cable cannot match current best mobile speeds.

  • BahnstormerTom Tom Lynch (@BahnstormerTom) reported

@Andrew_Frankel @bt_uk Good luck Andrew. When my BT broadband went down they initially offered a similar promise. In the end it took 25 days before it was up and running!

  • FrostyIcs #parallelRC ICS Pyro (@FrostyIcs) reported

    @_wxrda @bt_uk Think it's down every we're it's down for me

  • BahnstormerTom Tom Lynch (@BahnstormerTom) reported

@RSdriver00 @Andrew_Frankel @bt_uk BT will happily try and sell us a lovely fast package, except we know we are on a copper cable even though their website begs to differ. Local company are offering fibre for less money and their office is just down the road. Sounds promising!

  • RicMcLaughlin Ric McLaughlin (@RicMcLaughlin) reported

@Andrew_Frankel @bt_uk Good luck. They once sent me an email demanding the settlement of my bill. I rang them and explained that I'd just bought the place. No problem. They then turned it off for 3 weeks having asserted that I was in fact dead. I was not.
