Greg (Big Bernie) 🏴 (@BigBernie4) reported from Bristol, EnglandSo, after a week of no Internet, unreturned calls, promises of service resumption that have come to nothing, @bt_uk 's promise to send an engineer to me today between 1pm and 6pm has, probably rather predictably, been broken. Matt Frost (@MattFrostie74) reported@bt_uk I work on the BT network and know the nearest FTTC is 7 miles away in cable length (not as the crow flies) clearly to upgrade these customers, a new cab or cable is required. It’s out dated at approximately 50yrs old!

Matt Frost (@MattFrostie74) reported@bt_uk Don’t send an engineer out, unless it’s free. He won’t be happy to pay £85 on top of what he pays for the so called service. It is an area that needs looking at as a whole from a BT perspective. The line from the exchange had not been updated in years, that’s the problem!!
-
Leanne Smart (@ma91c_mum1) reported@bt_uk Things are working for now Lesley, but would like to know if there was a problem and if it’s been fixed. Didn’t seem appropriate to contact the engineer when he said he would call us.

Steph Lyonette (@stephlyonette) reportedWhen @bt_uk say you’ve been overpaying so I don’t have to pay for 6 months and then state that I owe £106 per month?! Absolute joke - I raise a complaint with someone but they close it straight away? I will never use this company again
-
Mart (@MartMart123) reported@bt_uk just had phone call from someone claiming to be from bt/openreach saying they had been monitoring my internet connection and were aware of problems, when I wouldn't give any personal details he hung up. His number was 02837998365. Just letting you know.
