@andysc @scargill @bt_uk Is it near a window? Can you fix one of those cheap portable solar panels to the top and point it in the right direction?

  • MCFCZak Zak 💙 (@MCFCZak) reported

@bt_uk why don’t you guys have engineers for cloud phones. I’m clueless at setting it up as the people on the phone don’t really help. You should at least have engineers.

  • beth_kitson Dr Beth Kitson (@beth_kitson) reported

Could anyone recommend a broadband provider that is *not* @bt_uk? Our wifi has been down for over three weeks now, and our pre-arranged appointments have been cancelled (without telling us) four times.

@bt_uk Yeah that's all you do..nothing at all validate this send this look into it then NOTHING. Do nothing even against data protection laws.then blame ex customer when it's all your fault.

  • whaleygeek David Whale (micro:bit wizard) (@whaleygeek) reported

@andysc @JamesBulpin @bt_uk I wonder how many of those watts are broadband vs switching vs wifi? My virgin router has the wifi turned off as it had a terrible reset bug and I use an external wifi router. It also has a 'modem only' mode to turn off the switch. How many watts does 'modem only' take, i wonder?

  • Nathanjones0001 Nathan Shelly-Bob (@Nathanjones0001) reported

@beth_kitson @bt_uk Probably down to openreach issues, if it is the only alternative line type is either Virgin or a 5g /4G mobile router option (if sufficient coverage in area).

  • gillian2410 Gillian Neilson (@gillian2410) reported

@bt_uk seriously ****** off that when i joined BT Mobile just now, the only way to get the new SIM working was to wipe all network settings INCLUDING WIFI AND BLUETOOTH! I told your this was a big deal but was assured there was no other way 🤬
