@rantasaurusbex @HelpSheffield @bt_uk We are in Sheffield S26 and this has been an ongoing issue on and off for a few years now. Seems to fix itself then we get a period of constant dropouts 20-30 times a day. We are Sky Broadband but on BT infrastructure in the village so falls to Open Reach to fault find.

Dave Evans (@rdt_daveevans) reported from Sheffield, England

@bt_uk massive shoutout to Alexander McCulloch in the order team who went way above and beyond fixing a problem with our recent switch. The computer said no - but Alexander listened to us and agreed that the computer was wrong and is getting it fixed!!!

  • JohnBarcock
Call the Martini Police (@JohnBarcock) reported from Barlborough, England

Typical @bt_uk service, put 30 days notice to leave in a few days ago and now my fibre is suddenly 1/3 of the speed it should be. I’m still paying for this you know! 50mb below my ‘stay fast’ guarantee too

  • dangriffin37
@DanGriffin45 (@dangriffin37) reported from Sheffield, England

@bt_uk off like you to explain why despite your frankly rubbish and desperate internet service you feel it's ok to add £5.50 per month to my bill, to say the least I'm disgusted and unhappy

  • FootprintTools
Footprint Tools, (@FootprintTools) reported from Sheffield, England

@BTGroup @btbusinesscare Thanks but so far we've had naff all help and going through to a help centre where we spend hours on the phone trying to fix a problem you caused with no resolution date or apology doesn't help us.

  • Heritage_Angel
Janet Ridler (@Heritage_Angel) reported from Sheffield, England

If you’re trying to email me this morning, I’m not getting your emails due to @bt_uk being down - if it’s urgent plz phone, text or send pm via twitter or Facebook.

  • TheSpeccyGit
Tom Payne (@TheSpeccyGit) reported from Sheffield, England

Great work @btsport wasn’t interested in the first two points of the @MapleLeafs game tonight. Quality of the footage is awful too. Really disappointing.

  • ChelseaRebecca8
Chelsea Nicholson (@ChelseaRebecca8) reported from Brimington, England

@bt_uk imagine BT promising a call back after the disaster yesterday. First agent failed to sort account out and lied. Second agent put the phone down on me and the third agent promised me a call at 10:30am. No call.

  • YorksHillbilly
William Hancock (@YorksHillbilly) reported from Sheffield, England

@BTCare does BT Mobile (consumer) support eSIMs yet?

  • rdt_daveevans
Dave Evans (@rdt_daveevans) reported from Sheffield, England

@bt_uk This is some of the best customer service I have seen! “Although Plusnet use the same Openreach lines and they can provide an SLT of 80/20...At the moment there is not availability in the BT slots in order to move your SLT to 80/20...” time to give up and switch!

  • longers265
Chris Longley 💙 (@longers265) reported from Sheffield, England

@bt_uk excellent service from BT using Twitter to contact them regarding my wi fi intermittent break down 👌💙

  • srounce
Shane Rounce (@srounce) reported from Sheffield, England

@bt_uk My internet just got cut off and your phone support is only during hours that aren’t my usual waking hours due to a sleep disorder. Can we get this resolved via DM right away to avoid any disability based accessibility issues? I rely on the internet for my work.

  • andy_morgan1956
Andy Morgan (@andy_morgan1956) reported from Somercotes, England

@bt_uk renewed b/b contract 3/6/19, cost £25.49 month. Now you're charging £41.99 month and say the order number I have is not correct and valid. Looks like you will lose this customer because of your inefficient ways

Apparently @bt_uk according to your customer service rep I can’t log in because I have an outstanding bill. Yet your text messages tell me to log in? It’s complete bull. Your customer service haven’t a clue

  • MattHopkins1620
    MattHopkins1620 (@MattHopkins1620) reported

@bt_uk are committed to excellent customer service, they say so when you ring them. Then they say they're very busy and they promise to speak to you within 20 minutes or you could ring back. Hint, excellent customer service starts with answering the bloody phone.

  • omotforest
    David Sinfield (@omotforest) reported

@WasSamLowryEsq @bt_uk @openreach The French call it demerdisation. Removing the ****. It's how I flew under the radar when I lived in France in an unapproved residence. Basically you keep the local mayor on side* and don't let anything escalate to the departement. *May involve 5L of wine a couple of times a year.

  • Glo_Thienel
    Glo 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧 (@Glo_Thienel) reported

@bt_uk Hi. I have done that, cleared. Called the number which button to press, as it's all about products, not help with online account?

  • TheParagram
    Ethan Keating (@TheParagram) reported

So the cheapest to renew my @bt_uk contract is £57 a month but a new customer can get it for £38 a month? I've already phoned and they can't knock anything off the price... Switching to @EE is no cheaper either... make it make sense

  • Lashes_N_Ink
    Amy Lou (@Lashes_N_Ink) reported

@bt_uk She doesn’t have an account with you. She was going to be a new customer. Seen as you didn’t come to install on the day agreed, and the installation didn’t take place. Surely there’s no chance of her being billed?

  • booker213
read steel ball run (@booker213) reported

@bt_uk How can I check local outages and is there one in the CW8 area? Your website doesn't allow me to view if there's an outage in my area without a login, and the scan your broadband function doesn't work since there's no connection.

  • philltea
    PT (@philltea) reported

Dad's just retired from @bt_uk due to ill health 38 years service. Not a single thank you, good luck or all the best Nothing at all Zero communication regarding help or advice getting his pension sorted and organised Just a random DPD driver turned up for his laptop Shambles

  • Felipe_Grey95
    Philip Aggrey (@Felipe_Grey95) reported

Hello @bt_uk and @skyuk your service really sucks. Why is it taking 30 mins to download ‘Prisoner’ when I have Halo 3 that I am paying loads of money for each month? You are pathetic 😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬

  • AlexaOByrne
    Alexandra O'Byrne (@AlexaOByrne) reported

@simboman @stokeygurl @bt_uk Could not agree more! During my many calls with BT I’ve been told this is affecting tens of thousands of customer accounts. Waiting for my paper bill for which BT “kindly waived the £3 fee”. Luckily, I’m “out of contract” and hence able to move to another provider.
