-
Mark Taylor (@tails101) reported from Sheffield, England@bt_uk Can you confirm I still have an appointment booked for 1st September (VOL053-7854135680959), only online fail tracker said it should have been fixed yesterday and has a supplier update that says visit cancelled. Was very unhappy with appt leadtime, so hope it is still on.
-
Footprint Tools, (@FootprintTools) reported from Sheffield, England@BTGroup @btbusinesscare Thanks but so far we've had naff all help and going through to a help centre where we spend hours on the phone trying to fix a problem you caused with no resolution date or apology doesn't help us.
-
Mark Taylor (@tails101) reported from Sheffield, England@bt_uk Really unimpressed that I’ve been advised I have to wait until the 1st September to have my faulty BTTV box replaced by an engineer. Was told it can’t be posted which seems insane, but then to be told I’ve got to wait two weeks without the use of the service is very poor.
-
Kate Rogers 🇺🇦🇪🇺🌿 (@katelouise02) reported from Chesterfield, EnglandI’ve filled in a feedback form on your website. He was in a BT Openreach van but think that’s you rather than @bt_uk? I needed to get to work (and I’d forgotten my snow shovel after clearing the road this morning!) so this was a huge help. He’s a credit to your company.
-
John Simpson (@JPSimpson88) reported from Worksop, England@kkkhan22 @craigr98_2016 @UswitchUK @bt_uk Possibly the location if the router, if it's near electronic items such as a TV, in a room with too many walls etc it can slow the internet down in other places of the home. Every WiFi has a 'not-spot' such as back of the house upstairs or even in the converted loft spaces.
-
Pat Waistnidge (@grannypatt) reported from Sheffield, EnglandHaving been a @bt_uk customer for years I always extol their virtues. Once again my mistake today caused problems. First of all Paddy, then Claire customer service brilliant. Thank you. Keep safe.

🌱💙Helen (@BrambleMum) reported from Matlock, England@bt_uk we're changing supplier away from BT and getting a new phone number. The text BT have sent is odd "We recently called to let you know another customer wants to take over the phone line at your address on 18-Jun-2021. Please reply YES if you're OK..."
-
Alex Lewis Burton (@MightyBurton) reported from Chesterfield, EnglandHave @btsport never seen anyone block a shot before? *******
-

-
Call the Martini Police (@JohnBarcock) reported from Barlborough, EnglandTypical @bt_uk service, put 30 days notice to leave in a few days ago and now my fibre is suddenly 1/3 of the speed it should be. I’m still paying for this you know! 50mb below my ‘stay fast’ guarantee too
-
Shane Rounce (@srounce) reported from Sheffield, England@bt_uk It’s not just down for me it seems. Got fiends on BT and EE across Sheffield reporting the same problem.
-
Jason Fage (@jfagej) reported from Chesterfield, England@btsportfootball @btsport @GaryLineker you wouldn’t mind if you were not paying £25 a month for it but can BT Sport get the crowd noise on please ? Same average service as last week
-
chris holmes (@chrish11072) reported from Matlock, England@btbusinesscare where do I make a complaint to? Your website is useless!! ( that’s not my complaint)

ブラジルの™ (𝚆𝚒𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚜) (@Withers4Real) reported from Sheffield, EnglandI’m so glad I haven’t had constant issues with @bt_uk’s internet for last 2 months 👀 @SkyUK have you guys got room for another customer on your books?
-
Dave Evans (@rdt_daveevans) reported from Sheffield, England@bt_uk massive shoutout to Alexander McCulloch in the order team who went way above and beyond fixing a problem with our recent switch. The computer said no - but Alexander listened to us and agreed that the computer was wrong and is getting it fixed!!!
-
andrew anthoney 🍋 (@andytoon30) reported from Mansfield Woodhouse, England@btsport is there an option to mute the biased commentary team? Don’t mind the crowd noise but the commentators are shocking! #nufc. However we have been terrible too, everything we worked hard on for nothing
BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
AlecH (@Alec0475) reported@bt_uk Good afternoon. Am having problems with my router. Can you help please?
-
Kevin Scallan (@ScallanKevin) reported@bt_uk I have cancelled my ee tv subscription within my cooling off period with customer services but I have not received a returns label to return the equipment. Can you send me a returns label?
-
Andy Mich (@MrAndyMich) reported@bt_uk I’m absolutely disgusted, in this day & age of phone scams you have people phoning from unsolicited numbers about contract renewal (+44 1438 989233). All the person on the other end of the phone could say was “I promise I work on behalf of BT”. I said I can promise I’m the king of England. Do you see how stupid and dangerous this practice is? I think as a company you desperately need to review this, it’s dangerous and it’s making me think if you can be trusted at all. In this day and age it’s unforgivable to do this in this manner.
-
Simon Bowler (@simonjbowler) reported@bt_uk Perhaps you could read the message I sent ans acknowledge that your chat service and account access aren't working for one of your customers. To be honest, that would resonate better than inviting me to spend an hour on the phone for a 5 minute issue.
-
Scott Weller (@ScottWeller1974) reported@bt_uk Why are you holding me to a contract you can’t even provide the service for
-
Ben Thompson (@BenBonj) reportedIsn’t it funny I had no internet issues until @bt_uk offer me to upgrade my package since then it’s been dogshite. Dropping out constantly & buffering when I didn’t take em up on it. Almost as if they’ve slowed it down deliberately to make me upgrade to get more money out of me.
-
Simon (@thfcsimonm) reported@bt_uk I’ve been trying to cancel a line for 8 weeks. You still haven’t done it. Absolutely disgraceful useless service. BT is probably the worst conglomerate in the UK
-
John Upham (@jeupham) reported@bt_uk My landline (01252) 514372 was restored yesterday (April 9th) by @WeAreOpenreach (thanks!) after not working since March 9th. Who do I contact regarding compensation? @Ofcom Many thanks!
-
Garv Mittal (@garv25mittal) reported@bt_uk I have called countless times…the issue is the appointment gets rescheduled automatically and there is no intimation. I have waited for 05 hours today just for your agent to say the appointment has been rescheduled to 03 May AM slot. I need this to be escalated immediately
-
Rachel (@rachelleese84) reported@bt_uk Thanks. Honestly, my husband has called at least 10 times. We’ve had multiple openreach visits. Each claiming to have fixed it but haven’t. Latest is tomorrow but I have zero confidence it will fix the issue.
