  • KrystalChampers
Daytona, Jackie Daytona (@KrystalChampers) reported from York, England

@EE Every single week it goes off without fail. Sometimes it’s for an hour or so, others it’s days. Paying good money for a service that doesn’t work properly. Disgusting.

  • nickholding01
Nick68 (@nickholding01) reported from Wakefield, England

@EE Well after 24 years its time to leave this network. No rewards for loyalty

  • Kroy73
Peter George (@Kroy73) reported from York, England

@EE Hi, got a text earlier 'from you' saying you'd updated some of my network settings & I need to restart my phone. All straight forward but I'm just making sure this is legit before I do it, there was no further info to explain what had changed.

@EE It doesn’t work as we have multiple numbers on the account. I’ve been directed to online - but that’s not working 😔

  • DancingHermit
Dancing Hermit (@DancingHermit) reported from Dunnington, England

@EE When are the signal issues that have made my phone unusable locally going to be fixed? It’s been well over a year now and you won’t give me a refund until it’s fixed and you close my complaint without ever contacting me?

  • toffeeste83
Toffeeste83 (@toffeeste83) reported from Ulleskelf, England

@EE why is it I get an upgrade rate from you for S20 5G network unlimited data at £84. Been with you a long time, was with Tmobile then transferred to EE. Yet as a new customer I can get the same deal same phone for £50 a month?

  • KrystalChampers
Daytona, Jackie Daytona (@KrystalChampers) reported from York, England

@EE broadband is absolutely awful. It goes off every week without fail. Sometimes it’s for 10 mins, sometimes it’s for days, and the customer service is shocking. Cancelling it & going back to the old provider.

  • LeftyHV
Chorlton (@LeftyHV) reported from Whitley, England

@EE waiting to hear about a job, previous tel number not transferred, can't get on voicemail & unable to get through for assistance. Rubbish service

  • arw84
Adam Whiteley (@arw84) reported from Wakefield, England

@EE @MBowater So everyone should expect 14% extra speed and data then if you are investing to increase from your current customer base. More like top bosses in for a bumper bonus.

  • dreadedwhisky
Guy Rushworth (@dreadedwhisky) reported from York, England

@EE There’s a distinct possibility that I’ll be switching services in the imminent future. The help from @virginmedia has been laughable. However, having spent £10 to top up the EE SIM card and then finding out I can’t contact your customer support because it costs 25p extra is rich.

  • damokinsella82
BusDriverDamo (@damokinsella82) reported from Askham Richard, England

Hi @EE im a pay monthly customer & been thinking about switching to you from Sky BB, mainly because im an ee mobile customer. Only thing is you don’t have full fibre available. @WeAreOpenreach states it’s not in rollout plans currently. We have cityfibre full fibre available!!

  • nickholding01
Vegan_nick.h (@nickholding01) reported from Wakefield, England

  • yorkiesteve

@stuuk11 @LeilaniDowding @EE I’ve been all through this with my parents they phone switches to the mobile network when the WiFi is down

  • Malcolm_Sillick
    Malcolm Sillick (@Malcolm_Sillick) reported

@LeilaniDowding @EE Lellani, it's not just EE, it's everyone. Even those on cable (Virgin Media) still have to have the phone plugged into the router. Seems like a good idea, until you get a power cut (which can be supported by a back-up battery, which is NOT given as standard) If the internet goes down, then so does your phone. Great if you have a mobile, but if you live in an area with a poor mobile signal, so reply on 'Wi-Fi calling' in the house, then when the internet goes down, you also have no mobile service. It's called progress!!

  • Cynicicide
    Universe 25 ⚠️ (@Cynicicide) reported

@GillRaeWalker @LeilaniDowding @EE My elderly parents were forced onto fibre by BT. Now they can't guarantee being able to phone for assistance during a power cut. Had to get new mobiles because 3G was turned off yet I work in parts of the country with no signal at all.

  • TheDealEnvoy
    À𝕓á𝕪ọ̀𝕞í (@TheDealEnvoy) reported

🚨 Scam alert. Be careful out there. Hackers are getting really sophisticated. Just had an unsolicited call from 01438 989236 claiming to be @EE customer service. Sounded professional. Said they had a promotion that would bring my monthly bill down. Asked for my last name, then said I’d get a code from @EE and should read it out to “verify” I was the account holder. Checked the number that called and the number that sent the text. Instantly knew it was a scam. Called @EE myself on the official number and reported it. Never give anyone a code sent to your phone. Hang up and call the company directly.

  • apr9999
    Andrew Robinson (@apr9999) reported

@EE Please see this thread. I've had another 40 minutes on the phone with 150 and, again, no help at all!

  • maisiethetortie
Maisie the Tortie / Margaret 🇬🇧🇨🇦 (@maisiethetortie) reported

@tenerifepete @LeilaniDowding @EE They’re supposed to work off GPS- when there is signal of course!

  • mentorthedragon
    businessdragonseye (@mentorthedragon) reported

@LeilaniDowding @EE That ship has sailed. The old analogue phone network is being switched off in January. Either you have a mobile as backup or you buy a battery backup. (Uninterruptable Power Supply UPS). BT/EE or whatever their name is this week will supply them for vulnerable people.

  • Wozza777
    Wozza (@Wozza777) reported

@LeilaniDowding @EE There will be something for those communities they can’t legally leave a house without a connection I’ve just moved my elderly parents over to digital home phone there are backup lines for pendant alarms. The copper landline wiring is poor these days it’s just moving with the tec

  • WanderingIan
    Ian Dickerson (@WanderingIan) reported

@LeilaniDowding @EE Most people have a cordless phone in their home. If the power went out it becomes useless. Only corded phones work in a power outage
