Retired Guidedog Jackie (@GuidedogJackie) reported from Falmouth, England@EE No because I'm fed up of raising this with everyone. It's your Falmouth store in Cornwall. It's a pretty constant problem and you've said before you'd address it with teams, the store etc and it still happens.
-
Kuan Yin meets Marici (@StAustellAdam) reported from Truro, EnglandHey @EE Right now, 21:35 on a Friday evening, in the centre of Truro, this is the appalling state of my 4G connection. This is a regular occurrence, any time of day, but again I find myself so frustrated that I'm calling you out on Twitter. Many millions of users pay you huge amounts of money ... you really need to up your game for your customers. @Starlink is breathing down your neck now, and price comparison means many of us could very well switch providers if service doesn't improve.
-
Darren Parish (@DarrenParish) reported from Helston, England@EE every weekend you can guarantee no signal in the TR13 area 😟 I’m guessing you still want your monthly rental? #ripoff
-
Sue Jamieson (@SouthDevonSue) reported from Mevagissey, England@EE Hi me again. We requested a PUK code on the 10 th of March and was told it would take 10 days. It's to put an O2 SIM into my old EE Samsung J3. I used to have an account with you and the handset must be locked to EE. Can you help?
-
Chill33 (@CarolAnnHill33) reported from Carharrack, England@EE Poor service from EE this evening. Son has 2nd phone on my account. SIM is obviously faulty. Helpful colleague on Saturday but didn’t call back as promised. Very rude woman this evening, very unhelpful. Just send a new SIM card so we don’t have to keep doing this!

Sally Bourton BEM (@SalBourton) reported from St. Mewan, EnglandWe are now into month 4 of limited or no @EE mobile signal in our village, this is beyond ridiculous. Why on earth am I paying for a service not being provided? @EE state they have the best UK coverage!
-
Retired Guidedog Jackie (@GuidedogJackie) reported from Falmouth, England@EE That's great news. Thank you for your help in this. It's really annoying when a pavement is blocked if you're a Guidedog owner, wheelchair user, pram pusher etc. Only last week a pedestrian was hit by a van in Falmouth :( Appreciate the feedback.
-
Sue Jamieson (@SouthDevonSue) reported from Mevagissey, England@EE Yes I think so, well we spoke on the phone to someone at EE. It's just that I had a notion that the unlocking number I had a few months ago might be valid although now I u/s it's not. Thank you for your help. If we don't hear anything soon I'll DM you. Have a great weekend.
-
Sally Bourton BEM (@SalBourton) reported from St. Mewan, EnglandWhat is going on in PL25 area @EE? It's been months now with no or very little signal - our village fb group is going nuts, lots of different answers as to why from yourselves apparently - what's the truth? And when we will get the service we pay for?
-
Matt Palmer (@mcpalms) reported from Truro, England@AbbieEaton44 @EE @VodafoneUK I’ve been with Vodafone for over 5 years and not had a problem, and I’d say that while I’ve been living in the South West I’ve had better coverage than others. It’s hard to get my monthly costs down but worth the money in my opinion
-
Darren Parish (@DarrenParish) reported from Helston, England@EE do you know of any signal problems in the TR13 area as I’ve had no signal all day?
-
Nigel K (@NDK72) reported from Falmouth, England4 X 10gb @EE sim only contracts at £8 a month each will do! Was paying £45 a month with EE and Plusnet for less, now £32 with EE. Pretty pleased again. Thanks to @jamesbowlesuk for the heads up 🙂 Great customer service too.
-
David Kemp (@DavidKe45613452) reported from Camborne, England@EE are you aware of any signal issues in Camborne, Cornwall can’t get any signal
-
-
Darren Parish (@DarrenParish) reported from Helston, England@EE yet again no service! This is ridiculous! TR13 8HQ before you ask for it again! Shall I cancel my D/D? Why pay for something I don’t have?
-
Dermot O Callaghan (@Omodon) reported from Quintrell Downs, England@Linseyhart10 @EE Absolutely rubbish signal for a while in Newquay, contract is up soon so I’ll be changing my provider, internet as well...
EE Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
George Nick Gorzynski (@g30r93g) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE coverage means nothing if signal strength is so abysmal the network becomes unusable
-
dave mayfield (@scunnyplumbist) reported@wsmsteve @EE Me too.had BT not a problem.went to EE broadband it’s no where near as good
-
Councillor Luke Bennett (@CouncillorLuke) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Correct. I had a better reception from my first (Cellnet) mobile in 1995 (in Devon)! Gone are the days of being able to rely on a decent signal! Despite that, ugly / tall mobile phone masts are everywhere (with zero effort to camouflage them or place them 'sensitively').
-
Adam Brown (@adamgbrown) reported@EE Hi, I need help but unfortunately can't DM you. You have dispatched a router which needs to be stopped. Our property is in legal dispute, spent hours on the app trying to resolve this, but you sent it anyway.
-
Beedle The Bard (@BeedleB) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Just like me where I live, and ike here I bet you have no problem getting a text message through.
-
Darrell fletcher (@Fletchmeister81) reportedIf you live in Rhyl and are thinking of moving to @EE because of there coverage map saying you get 5g+ dont its not even working yet apparently 99% of Rhyl should get it, you only get 4g and its crap
-
Tom Tugendhat (@TomTugendhat) reportedI’m in Dulwich. One of the more expensive areas of London, supposedly a global city, and I’m getting worse mobile phone reception that I did in Kabul a decade ago. I pay for two contracts: @O2 and @EE and neither is reliable so I can’t work. Mobile phones are useless in vast areas of Britain and have got worse. You can never work on a train, unlike in France. But we’re spending £4.5 billion in bike lanes and crossings. This government is prioritising virtue signalling vanity projects when we need infrastructure urgently.
-
Arthur Assendune 🇪🇺💙🇺🇦 (@ArthurAssendune) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Yes Tom, but the objective is to maximize profit NOT provide you with a functioning service. Golden rules of Capitalism: 1. Charge the maximum you can get away with. 2. Deliver the least you can get away with.
-
Free Speech Highway (@Fr2962Free) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE I agree with Tom on very little! However this is spot on! In parts of inner London EE signals are atrocious and despite checks that the area has a strong signal. They must do better or give customers some form of mobile signal booster.
-
Ukobach (@JasonOw55271825) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE I’m not saying immigration is the problem However it is relatively easy for a mobile cell to be overwhelmed by users - how many HMO’s have sprung up there - it’s a genuine problem and the networks usually address it with micro or pico cells
