Approx 9 grand paid to ee,t mobile...over years, dropped me like brick in the Mersey when my contract ended. They had ******* gaul to say I had to go through credit check again ffs. After paying them thousands over last 10 years.

The reason Roaming works is because the EU forced reciprocal waiving of access to networks. If, however, EE, O2, etc are being charged by network providers in Germany, Poland, etc then those costs need passing on.
