    New low for @HSBC_UK customer service. After again being told to speak with their online chat service to order a new bank card, they confirmed it would be sent out. I chase this up today and they have told me that no card has been ordered and I should called up. #Awful

    @bankwithsmile It's only been 7 working days, so it's got until tomorrow. There was no point in you sending a replacement now - I've got my @HSBC_UK card and PIN, so I've transferred some money over to that account so I can actually get some cash, ahead of leaving you for good on Monday.

    @HSBC_UK hi your chat bot doesn't help with registering online and says I need to login. The issue is with registering so a bit difficult to get to a person. When registering saying can't as you need contact details. Does this mean a mobile number is needed for online banking?

They sent me two follow up messages asking, each of which took another 2-3 working days for a response from your end.

    Update: @HSBC @HSBC_UK I've been a customer for over 10 years - waited 1hr30mins to speak with someone briefly, then without warning looped back to the start of the menu system again.

    @HSBC_UK Even simple things like trying to log into the app after switching phones is impossible without calling your customer service. I just did it with Monzo and it took 1 minute via email link. COO should be fired!
