@HSBC_UK i had applied for a credit card on 26 mar 2022. Called the customer care 4-5 times since then finally came to know that the application is approved, all clear from the underwriting services team, it's sitting with the banking approval team. It's been a month !!!!

@dgwbirch @Barclays Looks familiar. @HSBC_UK does the same thing. Go over your daily payment limit and, rather than say that, you get a indecipherable error message leaving you to imagine it’s an IT issue or worse. Why are established banks so bad at this stuff!?

@HSBC_UK is there an HSBC app problem at the moment I have been trying for over a week to use this app and it just closes down when I press the app icon - I have reinstalled and deleted a lot of times but the app only brings up the logo ? I updated to iOS 15.2 recently ? Pls help

@HSBC_UK @kg_beta On iOS 15 beta uninstall the existing HSBC app. Install HSBC app from App Store; you will need to go through app setup with help of customer care if you have forgotten all your secret answers. I was going mad for few days & it worked for me; hopefully this should work for others.

@HSBC_UK I've tried numerous times now. I just need a 5 minute conversation and it's simply impossible to get through. All I need to do is talk to an actual person about a Section75 Credit card claim. Just so frustrating. Literally at my wits end.
