Not a great experience

The customer is now out of pocket twice the amount. Natwest is simply disputing this and covering it up. More employees may be involved so always check your receipts.

UK banks leaned heavily into the teenage market in the 1980s, on the assumption that customers rarely changed bank accounts. If you got the customer young they would stay with you for life, so why not give them a cash card and a free sports bag when they were 14?

I have already contacted the card provider, and they advised me to speak with the ATM owner/bank to see if the card can be retrieved. All of my money for my stay in the UK is on that card, so I'm finding it very difficult to manage without access to my funds. I would really appreciate any help or guidance you can provide regarding whether the card can be recovered from the ATM at Tesco, 825 High Road, Leyton, E10 7AA.
