(1/4) Not a week after I was horrifically abused by an @o2 #CustomerServices agent, and even after I settled the payment issue (ongoing problems with #O2 automated systems since last Aug/Sep) that very day, I have today received three consecutive threatening/#legal letters...

  • BradChanner
Brad Channer (@BradChanner) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@O2 This has always been an issue. We are with giffgaff whom I believe use your signal. I have tried everything. I have even bought a booster, but the reception coming into the booster isn’t enough to even make the booster work. Very frustrating. I have to sit in a window 4 reception

  • flowersshanice
    S H A N I C E (@flowersshanice) reported from Cardiff, Wales

Hi @O2 I’m in desperate need for someone to active my new sim (had an upgrade) as I’m unable to text or call out viseversa. My o2 isn’t solving the issue either.

  • davesouthphoto

  • Daniel_Lyddon
Daniel Lyddon (@Daniel_Lyddon) reported from Cardiff, Wales

(1/3) Sad to say that @O2 are now trying to charge me for a service never used, when I cancelled a mis-sold contract within the 14-day cooling-off period. Almost two months later they're now saying they're going to charge me a late payment fee, plus the bill...

  • Welsh_PA
Mark Edwards (@Welsh_PA) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@PA_Stacey Oh yes @O2 love to go OTT on bill notification. It’s a shame they don’t put more emphasis on sorting out their weak/phantom 4G signal 📡 #priorities

O2 Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Marooned_Sailor
    Ian Judd (@Marooned_Sailor) reported

@O2 Did some research and as suspected you never actually rolled mmwave out…. Feels like some false advertising @Ofcom what are you doing? Where are all the speeds promised 6 years ago… yet again a weak uk regulator in the pockets of those its supposed to be holding to account

  • sharlewis58
    Shar 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@sharlewis58) reported

@SarahLudford @virginmedia @O2 That's why I left them unreservedly, an utter arse to try to interact. One system not talking to the other, no human to help sort. Mid contract hikes. Went to Sky - no regrets, easy xfer & lower bills

  • colwyn0077668
    Colwyn00 (@colwyn0077668) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE mobile networks have been **** for ages. we have agents out up and down the uk and difference contracts with different providers and over different handsets have all been garbage.

  • SoSoaksy
    Amelia Eberhardt-Armstrong (@SoSoaksy) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 They are reducing signal strength to save electricity costs. They even boast about how they reduce energy consumption by switching equipment off/running in lower power. Esp in non peak periods such as overnight. Doesn’t seem to be subject to regulatory measures

  • nicknickster
    Nick Booth (@nicknickster) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @vodafone Exactly. They all share one network of masts now so no-one has an incentive (or an ability) to provide a better service

  • Quelpanama
    Quelpanama (@Quelpanama) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Yet another issue where we have to think back to Tom’s time in Kabul liaising between MI6 and the SAS. Apparently sitting behind a desk in a building yards away from a communication mast he got a good signal. So heroic!

  • LouiseDarbyshir
    itsjustme (@LouiseDarbyshir) reported

    @O2 ya ****!!! Just saying

  • drhanko2
    Dr Hanko Honkasson (@drhanko2) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Tom Tugendhat suggesting that somehow the Government is responsible for very poor coverage by privately run mobile networks in Dulwich, and that taxpayer should be funding improvements for companies like EE (2025 profits £1.2 billion) as infrastructure rather than cycle lanes.

  • kevinxt
    Kevin Thomas FINSTR 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🇪🇺 🇺🇦 (@kevinxt) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 We also found that O2 were concentrating 5G in City/Built Up areas. That was 2 years ago, not sure if the roll out is still on going. If you are using mobile at home you can link to your router for a better service. All the best with it 👌

  • No_to_wokery
Provoke the Woke 🙈🙊🙉 (@No_to_wokery) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE You had 13 years to fix this mess. What do did the Tories do in government again ?
